  1. So I downloaded the non-DRM version from Amazon, but the file paths are different from the disc install on my old laptop. Everything installed either to my desktop or to the 'Program Files (x86)' folder, but nothing to the regular 'Program Files' folder. That being said, where am I supposed to drop my old plugins and regions, NAM, etc when I transfer from my external?
  2. So I just bought a new laptop with Windows 10 and I'd like to continue playing. I have my entire game saved on an external. I don't do any BATing myself, but I love including custom content (including NAM) into the game. Where should I be going for an online version? (I can't find my original game install disk for whatever reason, so license code is gone).
  3. Tiradentes Building

Is it a growable office or plopable? Also, any way to make it educational. It reminds me a lot of a building I saw on a college campus in Bogota once.
  4. Rebuilding a City From Scratch

WOW I love that college campus! Could you tell me what some of those buildings are at the center of campus (the round glass one surrounded by water and two buildings on the same lot as well as the immediately adjacent buildings). I'm trying to lay out my entire region right now and I need a lot of good college props/lots to add some variety to the different universities
  5. East Enokido Rail Line

I have to ask about yet another one of your lots! That train station, where!? I love the updates!
  6. Progress / Handa port & Atayami

Lookin' good! Where did you get those green container dock cranes from? Same with the rice fields?
  7. XXIX ・ Some Random Town, Part 2

Wow, what's that train station that you used? And are those concrete railroad crossing textures standard with RRW?
  8. LBT_BajadaBalta

The dependency links don't work anymore Anyone know what they are?
  9. LBT_ERJ_CostaVerde

Hey can you list the dependencies? The old links don't work anymore
  10. NOB/SOMY Support

I've been downloading a ton of content to develop some seaports and have followed a lot of the threads. I like a lot of the SOMY content and some of the NOB stuff as well, but I am struggling to find any detailed information on their products and translating the pages to English offers equally limited info. I'm specifically interested in stats/dependencies for the following: NOB Dry Dock, SOMY Car Loading Port (RoRo), SOMY Container Port, SOMY Grain Loading Harbor, SOMY Coal Loading Port. Also, if anyone has support info on other NOB products found on this website (http://hide-inoki.com/~nob/), it would also be greatly appreciated. Other SOMY products I've been able to find uploaded to STEX by Equinox, so those have more detailed info, but not the ones listed above. If anyone has the info or can link me to a thread that has the info for the above add-ons that would be great!
  11. Welcome to Saitama International Airport

I also would like to know where you got that transition from el to underground...and that ferry terminal. The whole this is magnificent! Bravo!
  12. If you'd look at the image I attached, you'd see the relatively short distance I'm looking to accomplish this with, and you'd see it does lead into a central station. In Baltimore, there is a long freight tunnel right under downtown, so there is precedent in the real world. Also, in New York, the Empire Connection (the line along the Hudson River from Spuyten Duyvil to Penn Station) is electrified only for the portion immediately entering Penn Station. The rest of the line, including much of the tunnel portion, is done as a diesel operation, so again, precedent. The line is primarily for passenger rail services, but I don't want to block freight access since the line is the main access to the port. Nowhere did I say I was trying to run freight down a light rail line, so I'm not sure why you'd bring that up. rsc204: Yes, that tunnel entrance you have is similar to what I'm interested in for the mountainside, but the one from the cut would enter into a tunnel under the street tile (Imagine a 15m hole digger tile with a bridge passing over. That bridge is the tunnel portal).
  13. Thanks for the quick reply! If you take another look, the rail actually would be going under a current ped mall network so that part is solved (except for a small portion towards the top, but that just takes swapping the placement of the ped mall and the placement of the zoned tiles). I was just hoping there was a way to have the tunnel portal built into the mountainside by the station and that there was a way to zone on top of the URail. Also, there's no piece to have the rail sunk into a cut? I swear I'd seen one on here somewhere. The other idea I'm toying with is obliterating the top right developed corner and running the track as elevated rail, but I don't like the slope that the el rail to ground rail transition uses so I'd have to leave enough space for a gradual slope down.
  14. Attached is an image depicting what I'm trying to do. At the bottom center are tracks I'd like to sink into a cut. I'd do a basic 15m hole digger but there is a road on the next tile over. From there, I'd like it to enter a tunnel. Are there any pieces that can be suggested (I've seen tunnel portals into mountainsides somewhere on here but I can't find it now. Would that work?). I'm familiar with the underground rail pieces that come with NAM, but other than the grass ped mall piece, I haven't been able to find anyway to send it under blank terrain other than "inducing" a tunnel, but this only works for straight sections. Any way to do a curve? Also, anyway to have underground rail so that you can zone the tiles above. I've heard of the rail to subway transitions, but I believe they block freight, no? Finally, I need another portal for when it emerges out of the hill. If I have to settle for the existing underground rail NAM pieces, then so be it, but I figured I'd ask the pros first.
  15. Canal Vs River

I am looking to have canal bridge heights, and (correct me if I'm wrong) I won't actually see ships traveling the river between ports so I guess functionality is moot. So perhaps the canals are a suitable solution, especially since I saw a CJ where the canal transitioned seamlessly into the game water. Do you have a link to the explanation you previously showed? Also, I thought the canals had automata and functional ferries (whose terminals were connected by subway), or was I wrong? Sorry if this all sounds ridiculous, I'm very new to doing mods like this.
