Try opening a new file and merging this lot into the new one, it has worked for me when it has failed to open files before...

Going back to more boring little wall to wall buildings, an auto body shop. Working on more detailed texturing and interior immersion, anyone know where I can find Gmax models of vehicles I can merge into this so it looks like one is in the garage having work done to it?

This is the first fictional lot I've done, another boring little building based slightly off of the last Blockbuster store in Oregon. It was also the first time I made a store with an interior so it sort of looks like an actual video store through the windows. Called it Videowave, a generic name a video store would have and gave it an aquamarine color tone to give it an 80's/underwater theme to fit the name. 2x2 lot with a few C$$ jobs, Netflix will not be putting this one out of business...- 11 Reviews

Your VCRs will not be flashing 12:00 for much longer... Bad news is you have some rather substantial late fees...

Based off of James Games, part of a little mini mall just outside Los Angeles, an arcade that opened back in 1978 that was recently closed and all the machines sold off. The building and sign have a great late 70's/early 80's look to them. The building would probably be closer to 3 tiles wide but I figured that would be too big for an arcade so I made it a 2x2 lot and removed the other businesses giving it the entire building. I really wanted to add an arcade sound to it, hopefully soon I can update that.- 5 Reviews

Omega Games is almost ready to re-open... I think this one has some issues with how frequently it builds, also I have a custom .wav file I would like to use for the query sound on this but I don't think I could ever figure out how either of those things work, if anyone can help me out with either of those please message me, thanks.

I should have known it had something to do with Reader, I have no idea how to use that program so I guess this isn't really something I should attempt... -

I have finished a lot I just need to add a custom sound query to it, I have made the file (I'm assuming it needs to be .wav) now I need to add it to the lot, how would I go about doing this? -
Heard about an arcade in California that went out of business a few days ago, it will be 're-opening' in a few days:

Nothing to see here, just another boring little building, this based off a small defunct business based in Los Angeles in the late 80's that was destroyed in a bizarre police chase. Please disperse it as a middle piece on a small wall to wall block to make it fit in ideally. This was actually a corner lot but the building is wedge shaped and getting the dimensions for a 1x2 to fit the lot just didn't look right so I just expanded the front to fit the rest of the building.- 5 Reviews

Just another boring little building, one question though, how do I add a custom query noise to a lot?

This one took a lot of Gmax crashes to finish but we did it... By the way, does anyone know how to switch the viewport back to normal lighting so the model isn't all black after you start adding nightlights?

Another boring little building from the University district in Seattle, a corner apartment building (2x3 R$) with a pharmacy on the ground level. The pharmacy is a Bartell Drugs which I integrated into the same fictional franchise as the pharmacy I made a few weeks ago, with the same neon sign. Tailored to be a wall to wall building that sits on a corner, with the old fire escape still hanging right on the front of the building. Hadn't worked on a building of this size yet, and a lot of the textures were not really what I wanted because Gmax was crashing constantly again, so I want to go back and tweak those at some point. Also not sure why they named it 'The Avenue Apartments', neither street it corners is marked as an avenue... -
Took a nice break and planned to come back and make smaller more basic lots Also me: Let's make the biggest and most complex lot I've done yet

Yeah, somehow vertex was not checked off even though I remember doing that as the guide instructed. Not sure how that would have been undone even if I did it by accident, that's not a window that seems like I would bring up accidentally, and that box even more specifically. Good old Gmax... -

Interesting, seems like I am able to snap to splines again so the suggestion worked, but I still have the large cross that snaps to the grid and I cannot reshape a new spline by free form dragging it. Hopefully this isn't an issue since I never do that anyway but thanks. -

Anyone know why out of the blue I cannot snap to anything other than the grid. 2, 2.5 and 3 all do the same thing all of a sudden, also the target is way bigger than it should be: If I changed anything it was not on purpose so why it's doing this all of a sudden is a mystery, it also didn't save properly just before it happened, hopefully I don't have to reinstall do I? -

Based off a stained glass window business called Cline Glass that inhabited the building a few years back, a little corner building in Portland's urban industrial area. Just another boring little filler building that stands out just enough for me to bring it into the game. Wanted to make this one an industrial lot but it just did not seem to want to build when I lotted for it. It's a corner building but designed to be wall to wall on either side if needed. I will definitely try to revise the windows at some point to make the stained glass displays they had stand out at night. -

Based off of Kripps Pharmacy, a defunct business on Vancouver's high profile Granville Street. Another wall to wall lot, low wealth commercial service 2x2, but modified so it can also be used as a corner lot as the actual building was before demolition. This is another one I will probably go back and revise at some point, the nightlighting on the windows is bland and the neon signage needs a little tuning. I was also too lazy to export it again to fix the slight issue with the LOD, it's a little vertically misplaced. It also doesn't seem to appear very often when I zoned for it but I do not know what to do about that for the time being. Also thanks to @AP for the tips on nightlighting. -
Phew, 53 different individual lighting rigs to get there...
