Only one person can clean up Clacton, and it's Count Binface from planet Sigma IX. He needs your help and this billboard will spread the word. The billboard is just a prop with a working nightlight I replaced into a standard 1x1 park lot, ploppable anywhere with standard park effects, formatted from an existing image of a Binface ad into a wider resolution. I'll be releasing a set of billboards similar to this one featuring various pop culture ads soon enough. -

@gutterclub Bottom right looks like this one: And is the tunnel what you were looking for? If so it's probably part of the NAM.

I didn't realize I haven't released any houses yet, so I'll be working on a house pack with some early 20th century styles...

@Kel9509 I think this was my second or third lot so I'm not surprised it had some errors. I actually did some work to the original model not too long ago so I plan on releasing an improved version of it which will also have the technical aspects updated and also have it tested by someone other than me. Stay tuned...

A little wall to wall building in Seattle's University district from the 1920's. CS$$ with 59 jobs, this is a condensed version, the building should probably be 1x3 but most W2W lots are 1x2 so I figured it would fit better as such, and it also looked a little weird when I stretched it out. The night lighting was very uncooperative so I had to settle on the default BAT nite windows, but I will probably go back to that if I ever learn night lighting properly. Still new to this so there could be issues with it... and thanks again @mattb325 for the tips with this one. -
Didn't plan on releasing two lots today but I somehow forgot to release one a few weeks ago, so trick or treat...

This building along with a few of the adjoining buildings once housed a few different food and beverage distributors in Portland, Oregon for many years. The building is now known as North Coast Seed Studios, the outside of which has looked the same for decades, probably because the majority of paint used is now on the art they create inside. I kept this one as an industrial lot since it had a great vintage industrial look to it. Also had to improvise the 'back' side of the building since Portland loves to have industrial buildings in big clusters and this one is up against another building. Thanks to @sejr99999 for testing these one out.- 3 Reviews

Wholesale Seed is a former distribution company in Portland, Oregon, located in the industrial section of the Irvington neighbourhood just off the Willamette River. It has since been rezoned as many buildings like this have been and is now an art studio. It appears it has not been re-done at all for many years, maybe even since it was first built as seen by the faded signage and very old wood siding. 1x2 C$$ wall to wall design and zero dependencies. The 'front' of the building was used as a railspur back in the day so use your imagination when placing it.- 2 Reviews

BAT - Getting Started Guide / FAQ / Resources / Help
Rott replied to Jasoncw's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
I was really hoping the right click issues were something to do with settings on my second monitor but I guess not. Regardless, if compatibility with Blender will be a thing soon everything should work out just fine... -
BAT - Getting Started Guide / FAQ / Resources / Help

Went to transfer some Gmax files using a USB memory stick from the new PC to the old one to render it and it doesn't even show the new files when I go to transfer them (I tried looking at hidden files, they still do not show up). Just one ridiculous problem after another... are people REALLY able to use GMax/BAT on Windows 11? Or should I be looking into using a new program? -

@jestarr Do you know what this does exactly? I'm just wondering if it will change the way my PC performs for other programs -
BAT - Getting Started Guide / FAQ / Resources / Help

Seems like Windows 11 and Gmax are not friends, I'm having a ton of new problems such as the one above, as well as chronic crashing, weird graphic issues, textures not loading from my imported models, and now a fatal render error. If anyone else is using Gmax in 11 I need to know what these issues are. Also Reader doesn't seem to want to open anything, not sure if it's a setting to modify or more of the same issues with a newer OS... -

Have an issue with gmax since installing it on my new PC, when I right click it brings up the little submenu on my second monitor, and only if no other window is active on it. Strangely enough I can still 'use' it since it acts like it's still where it should be when I move my mouse, it's just not appearing where it should be. Probably more of an issue with Windows 11 and not Gmax but not sure where else to post this... -
So the new PC doesnt seem to like the NAM, copied my existing plugins from my old PC and through process of elimination found it was the NAM that crashes the game while a city is loading. Reinstalled NAM and had the same result, any known fix for this?

Just some older industrial looking building from Burlington, Iowa I found randomly with just enough detail I made it into a lot on a whim. A 2x2 wall to wall lot, probably better suited to industrial since it looks more like something seen in an industrial part of town rather than commercial but I had issues getting it to grow as an industrial lot so I made it into commercial. If anyone can get this to grow as an industrial lot please let me know I can add it to this file. Thanks again @sejr99999- 1 Review

Wow, I didn't know it was possible to alter a building like that without the 3D model file. Neat variation of the building.

This building located in Bellingham, Washington is still in use as a distribution warehouse for dairy products today, slightly downsized as it now also houses an art studio upstairs. This is a long but narrow industrial building I have lotted for I-M since warehouses don't really fall under any in game classification. Likewise, I nerfed the pollution and resource usage to fit the traits of a warehouse. It's a 2x6 lot I would like to have elongated to reflect the actual lot but 6 is the maximum depth the game permitted me. I added a different mural since I couldn't get a clear picture of the actual one, which was also probably too small to show up as anything recognizable anyway. The LOD on side view doesn't quite support props being placed snug as the one picture illustrates with the box truck, but the front view emphasizes the 'good side' where it is not noticeable. It has a few non essential props that are part of popular prop packs that everyone almost certainly has by now so it's ready to go. Thanks to @sejr99999 for testing- 2 Comments
