  1. AMD Fab 70 Simtropolis

Given the age of this, it was probably made using Maxis items. You'll probably need to be sure the two Maxis bldgprop files (or this one) are in your plugins.
  2. Hong Kong

Hi @Ahrnuld, nice looking map. Thanks for the upload. Wanted to point out that the name is "Paradise" in the region.ini file. Not sure if that was intentional, but folks will need to look for that name that rather than "Hong Kong" when loading the region in the game - unless they change it.

  4. NAM General Support

By chance, have you used the Drawpaths cheat to look at the paths. When I tried the piece, it wasn't always stable (paths and textures). Perhaps it's not even be supported at this time... Clicking around with the RHW tool helped a bit. Not sure if there's a 'trick' to using this piece or not... Road connections seem pretty stable, though... While things may not seem perfect, traffic still is able to traverse the connections...
  5. NAM General Support

Welcome to the Network Addon Mod General Support topic. Please post your questions concerning issues with or the usage of the newest version of the Network Addon Mod (NAM) and its features here. The newest version of the Network Addon Mod, NAM 49, is now available on the STEX and the SC4Evermore. For additional information or to ask questions about new features, check out the NAM 49 topic here. It should be noted that any previous NAM installation should be completely removed from the game's Plugins folders before installing any new NAM version. This does not occur during the installation process but needs to be done manually. In addition, the system requirements and the installation process beginning with NAM 37 are very different from earlier versions. It is highly recommended and would be very beneficial to read through the information provided in the listing or in the download package to become familiar with this new process. And please keep in mind that support for previous versions of NAM will no longer be provided due to changes and updates that occur with each new version. For system requirements, features, and a complete walkthrough on installation, see the enclosed read-first-NAM-49.html file, or check out the NAM website at https://www.sc4nam.com/. This might be considered 'must reading'. 6. Simtropolis Questions

No worries, and no bother at all... This situation has come up I think three times on the past five years, so it is quite rare. Back when the homepage carousel was first implemented, there was very little chance of this happening for various reasons. One of which was it was a lot busier in those days, and things didn't stay on for very long. It probably didn't occur to the 'rule writers' to address such a case. Different times...
  7. Simtropolis Questions

HIi @simmering No, this isn't a 'bug'... It's more or less a decision resulting from the way the 'Features' function and is something that has popped up over the years since the 'Features' feature became available. The site's 'Feature' feature is not automated but a limited, manual function where someone monitors the process and takes the necessary steps and checks to get things displayed. Historically, this 'someone' has been a staff volunteer. Currently, it has been my turn 'in the barrel, so to speak. Also historically. there has been a differentiation between what might be termed 'Team' Features and 'individual' ones. As mentioned, it's rare for the two to cross, but as in this case, it has happened. Unless a 'Team' has a seperate account, there can be and will be only one person on the Team who creates the Feature for such items. In this case, the "CAM' and "SC4 PIM-X' items have been developed by different teams, but coincidentally, the Feature was created by the same person who happens to be on both teams. Therefore, the same 'person' representing two different 'teams' will appear twice. Hope that's helpful. Thanks for checking on it... .
  8. I've PMed all the dozen or so remianing creators of the files that are still missing (most are very to fairly active). I've heard back from a couple, so hopefully, we'll get the last ones restored.
  9. 58 to 62 Blandford Street

Hopefully, we'll be able to get them restored. We'll probably need to reach out to the community for the final few that we haven't been able to find yet.
  10. The Next Person...

  13. Guess Who's Next V2

Well, mssed by thaaaat much...! But maybe simmering won't...
  14. If this is still an issue... There are some midrise commercial relots by Madhatter, but the ones in your images don't seem to be them. Do you have the game's details settings on 'Low'? That refuces what appears on the lots.
  15. Can't find it?... Ask here!

Have replaced the upload. Not sure what happened but appears to have gone missing even before the site went down. If there is a known reason for the file to have been taken down, please let us know, and it will be removed...
  16. Introduce Yourself Here!

There's also the Found Custom Contents club where we post things that have a bit more information available to justify a full upload entry. It will grow as time goes on.......
  17. Introduce Yourself Here!

Hi @HaruhiSuzumiya, welcome to Simtropolis... You might start off with a search on the STEX for 'Japanese'...
  18. Introduce Yourself Here!

Hey @YamaLlama, welcome back! Have fun with all the new 'toys'...
  19. Can't find it?... Ask here!

Thanks for the new set. There was a folder in your previous post's attachment named 'new desc' that appears to be the same files. Unfortunately, either way, the missing model flags still appeared. Perhaps it is just from being a work-in-progress. Overall, it seems to be just a few of the homes. THe shops have been fine. Thanks again, for helping out...
  20. Can't find it?... Ask here!

Thanks for the files! They were a big help and did provide a large number of the necessary files. Although, there does still seem to be a few others missing models... They're both the 3x1 and 2x1 lots. Or maybe they just weren't finished?
  21. Can't find it?... Ask here!

I've got a slightly newer one (Nov. 19, 2003). Maybe made after Rush Hour because it has an 'RH' appended to its name. Also have a Organic Hawkers as an installer. Its a BSC Reward lot. We'll see what Tyberius thinks... I don't want to get yelled at either...
  22. Can't find it?... Ask here!

I'm wondering if you have @kaimai's relots of Wallibuk's Brazilian items. Those file names pop up in that set. I don't see it on the STEX, but if it was fairly new, it is probably in those items that were lost when the site went down. There was a specific period of time when the items uploaded hadn't been saved upon restoration. I don't have a readme in the set that I have, so I don't know if there's any depencencies other than having Wallibuk's originals. Maybe Kaimai will stop by...
  23. ideas Site Suggestion Box

Just curious, do you mean they appear on the Home page? Or do you mean the thumbnail images when you open the entry postting? There is an option of selecting which one appears on the Home page, but to reorder the images (as mentioned) you would have to delete and then add them back in the order you want.
  24. Can't find it?... Ask here!

The only dependency mentioned in the posts here is the CP mega prop pack for the Portugal colomial houses. The files in the 09Brazilian pack are identical to the individual sets here, and they appear okay in the game. If you know which ones aren't showing up, feel free to mention it to get assistance on possible issues.
  25. Can't find it?... Ask here!

Thanks! And after looking at it, it looks like the 09Brazillian file is a combination of earlier attachments from the same topic. Check these posts here and here. Fortunately, those attachemnts are stil accessible.
