Thanks for the files! They were a big help and did provide a large number of the necessary files. Although, there does still seem to be a few others missing models... They're both the 3x1 and 2x1 lots. Or maybe they just weren't finished?

Welcome to the Network Addon Mod General Support topic. Please post your questions concerning issues with or the usage of the newest version of the Network Addon Mod (NAM) and its features here. The newest version of the Network Addon Mod, NAM 49, is now available on the STEX and the SC4Evermore. For additional information or to ask questions about new features, check out the NAM 49 topic here. It should be noted that any previous NAM installation should be completely removed from the game's Plugins folders before installing any new NAM version. This does not occur during the installation process but needs to be done manually. In addition, the system requirements and the installation process beginning with NAM 37 are very different from earlier versions. It is highly recommended and would be very beneficial to read through the information provided in the listing or in the download package to become familiar with this new process. And please keep in mind that support for previous versions of NAM will no longer be provided due to changes and updates that occur with each new version. For system requirements, features, and a complete walkthrough on installation, see the enclosed read-first-NAM-49.html file, or check out the NAM website at https://www.sc4nam.com/. This might be considered 'must reading'. NAMLite Optional Download New Features for NAM 49 Additional Information If you wish to look through tutorials on various NAM features, please vist this topic: To follow the NAM feature development, check this topic: If you have any particular requests or suggestions for new NAM features, please see this topic. For information regarding features and commonly asked questions, please see this topic. Please note: The topic below has been archived and is retained for for historical and informational purposes only. Due to the substantial changes in the NAM over the intervening years, some information will no longer apply.

I've got a slightly newer one (Nov. 19, 2003). Maybe made after Rush Hour because it has an 'RH' appended to its name. Also have a Organic Hawkers as an installer. Its a BSC Reward lot. We'll see what Tyberius thinks... I don't want to get yelled at either...

I'm wondering if you have @kaimai's relots of Wallibuk's Brazilian items. Those file names pop up in that set. I don't see it on the STEX, but if it was fairly new, it is probably in those items that were lost when the site went down. There was a specific period of time when the items uploaded hadn't been saved upon restoration. I don't have a readme in the set that I have, so I don't know if there's any depencencies other than having Wallibuk's originals. Maybe Kaimai will stop by...

Just curious, do you mean they appear on the Home page? Or do you mean the thumbnail images when you open the entry postting? There is an option of selecting which one appears on the Home page, but to reorder the images (as mentioned) you would have to delete and then add them back in the order you want.

The only dependency mentioned in the posts here is the CP mega prop pack for the Portugal colomial houses. The files in the 09Brazilian pack are identical to the individual sets here, and they appear okay in the game. If you know which ones aren't showing up, feel free to mention it to get assistance on possible issues.

Thanks! And after looking at it, it looks like the 09Brazillian file is a combination of earlier attachments from the same topic. Check these posts here and here. Fortunately, those attachemnts are stil accessible.

Processor HQ: File Processing Info & Discussion
CaptCity replied to Cyclone Boom's topic in The Planning Commission
Didn't know where else to ask this, but... Was wondering if we were able to restore those broken attachment links in the forums as we come across them. This question here made me realize that some of us may have those files that had been attached but are now gone. Staff could go in and re-attech them if we want to go that route. Or should we hold off until a formal process is set up. Just wondering...- 22 Replies

Looks like it was attachd here, but the link to the attachment was broken when the site went down. Will 'call' on @Wallibuk to see if the file still exists and can be restored.

Processor HQ: File Processing Info & Discussion
CaptCity replied to Cyclone Boom's topic in The Planning Commission
As @Handyman mentioned in the note... The dependency file for this set that had been available here at one point, is no longer accessible through the Download button or the link mentioned in the listing.. Apparently, it was stored externally. I'm guessing it may have been due to the size limitations at the time (it's 236MB))...? I don't see anything referencing the issue in the comments, so maybe it did not survive the restoration...? I do have the 2.3 version of the Italian Collection that I can upload so that the dependency file will be available, but I wanted to be sure there was not some other issue involved with taking the file off.- 22 Replies

Got a quick SC4 question?... Ask here!
CaptCity replied to City_Slider's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
I've used this method (I'm on Win10).... But as mentioned, it is temporary. For more permenant methods, set up Command Line prarmeters or just use the DLL as @Kel9509 mentioned. @DreamMachineMan, once either way is used, you can use the above method to view how the game is running. For example, mine shows this since that is what I have the DLL set at... Just a thought... -

Verifier HQ: File Verifying Info & Discussion
CaptCity replied to Cyclone Boom's topic in The Planning Commission
Yes, back when we started uploading these 'lost, then found' items (on the Club and in a couple forum topics), it was very much on an 'as is' basis. Most of these 'found' files are very old and from sites no longer around, so they may contain all sorts of idiosyncrasies. The thinking was to get them saved as best we could and respond to any issues as they arose. Then, after the wipe and site returning, I started restoring the club files with the same thing in mind. I didn't anticipate (although, I should have) that the tracker would be pulling those club files as well, so I didn't give any kind of heads up... There will probably be more of this type of issue with those files. Feel free to let me know and we can see what can be done... A long-term goal was to go through those things and do a bit of clean up. I hope to continue that... Thanks- 39 Replies

Verifier HQ: File Verifying Info & Discussion

Thanks... So far, it looks like I might just need to practice a bit of patience. The few time I've tested things out again resulted in a better outcome. Looks like a false alarm...- 39 Replies

Verifier HQ: File Verifying Info & Discussion
CaptCity replied to Cyclone Boom's topic in The Planning Commission
Yes, I thought of that and have made sure to check that. I haven't spent a lot of time worrying about it yet. I'll keep trying that on different things. Maybe I didn't wait long enough.- 39 Replies

Verifier HQ: File Verifying Info & Discussion
CaptCity replied to Cyclone Boom's topic in The Planning Commission
Oh that will help out a lot! I've been trying to find an easy way of doing that... On the subject of Verifying... I've come across an issue that I don't know if it's just me. There have been many items that seem to be complete that won't give me that option to Verify when I select them. And yes, they do indicate a 0 out of 2 for verified. The only pattern I seem to see is that it almost always happens if they've been restored by the 'File Author', if it is a map, or if it is a SC3000 file. It does pop up on other things, but it seems more random for that.- 39 Replies

Well then, the joke must be on me... I thought that was something I had noticed before today while checking my own things. I guess I was actually doing something else... That's the best kind of secret - when your confused and already think it's not a secret.- 39 Replies

Verifier HQ: File Verifying Info & Discussion
CaptCity replied to Cyclone Boom's topic in The Planning Commission
Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but if I select you as the 'Processor' and then select 'Any Missing' in the 'Filter by' category, it shows you as the Processor. I don't think they show in either Restored (verified or not) category untill all the 'Missing' components have been addressed. At least that seems to be what I've observed...- 39 Replies

Ah, thanks. Just saw your edit. That was part of the reason I raised the question. I wasn't sure what to do if others were providing their own files but maybe hadn't re-posted images.- 22 Replies

Processor HQ: File Processing Info & Discussion
CaptCity replied to Cyclone Boom's topic in The Planning Commission
I certainly hope that we can get things back as close to what they were before, and the tracker is an excellent tool for reaching that goal. I do, on the other hand, think that the image thing might create sort of a bottleneck if we make it a determining factor in 'releasing' the items. While it would definitely be a positive to have the original creator's material available, it may be difficult to get. Getting images for the thumbnails, at least, might be doable by loading content into the game to make new ones. I had to do that a bit in other efforts to restore some older content. And yes, it is easier said than done - maybe we need a new committee... Anyway, just thinking out loud...- 22 Replies

Processor HQ: File Processing Info & Discussion
CaptCity replied to Cyclone Boom's topic in The Planning Commission
Another question rolling around in my head (or just food for thought... or I'm just confused...), are we holding off on removing the banners to make the downloads available until every part of the entries have been replaced? The files, obviously, and the details (information, dependency links, etc.) definitely need to be correct, but I can see trying to get images replaced may be a hold up. I've noticed some banners haven't been removed even after the file is available but maybe not all images are present, so I was wondering at what point should we 'release' the file - when the file has been uploaded and information is verified or when everything is replaced, including images, and it has gone through the verification process? Just looking for input...- 22 Replies

Yes, it would do that. especialy if I made a Word doc or PDF rather than just a text file (although that is rare). I usually focus on the date listed as submitted or last updated for the appropriate file. I almost always downloaded the files within a day or two of being uploaded.- 22 Replies
