Kind of embarrassed as this is my own screenshot, but where can I find this Legend of Zelda monument?

<snip>

I must have downloaded it a decade ago from some Japanese site. Sadly I don't even know the file name. Any pointers would be helpful! Thanks!

It's actually on the STEX.

Would love to know if there are more mid-rise corner buildings like this that aren't French/European. Also, recommended w2w's that goes well with them.

Another thing: I assume everything about this park is modular? Where can I find them?

I'm looking for old brick industrial buildings, or art deco.... could someone tell me the names of some prolific authours on the STEX so I dont have to go through the entire STEX to find stuff? I got everything the lex has to offer.

Actually I'm doing some lots with two sets by Cycledogg, which can combined in many different ways and I really like:

https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=3300

Plenty you'll find, if you do a power search on SC4Devotion for the users

'gascooker' and 'jestarr'

But the best thing might be to go for the IRM by T Wrecks - at the end you get a huge collection of industry without much searching around. If you decide to pick up the IRM, apart from the great concept of the mod itself, it's like T Wrecks did already the work for you to pickup the finest industrial stuff around and lotted it to perfection. To trust in his selection can safe you weeks if not months of own researches.

[EDIT]

Ah, sorry, missed the last sentence you wrote. So you've got this already. Well, I leave it here, in case other users search for similar content.

Really? Cool! I'm trying to do a Region of Greater Paris, "Grand Paris" in french. Is becoming quite large. But harmonizing all the tiles, the river banks and heights of the land are stomping me out. As for "Notre Dame", I never seen it, sorry. Good luck!

You can also check @CorinaMarie's map selection and see if one fits your needs.

Mine are mostly not flat. :O However, this one has lots of terraced flat places so you can have rolling hills and still have oodles of level ground to build on. *;)

are there canal-to-sea transition pieces?

I remember that PEG developed some solution to it using the brigantine water mod, but I'm not sure where to find it, I guess that @catty-cb or @Tyberius06 could know...

Proper ingame water and plop water or different canal water textures transitions I can't recall, but there are ways how you can make such kind of "natural" transitions with MMPs (Mayor-Mod Plopables), however I'm not an expert of using MMPs...

The less natural way is using canal locks. I can recommend these:

Peg PPond Lock

PEG CSK2 Locks

CAL Goobers Canals 2007 Extras 1 BSC

Heretic SeaPort Project

Heretic SeaPort Project Expansion vol. 1

and there are a few other canal types which has Lock what you can use as a transition between canals and ingame water. Please, bear in mind that the Heretic Seaport project all together contains more then 100 lots and only a few of them are behaving as a transition between canals and ingame water. These are mostly big industrial lots, not simple transitions, as you can see on the attached pictures.

Has anyone (  @Simmer2   ) yet "batted" a set of locks big enough to accommodate the sea-going ships in the game ??

Or drawbridges large enough, appropriate to their surroundings, and actually sequenced to raise and lower for traffic ??

I have stayed away from canals, industrial or otherwise, since the bridge issue has been a problem (placing an industrial drawbridge in the heart of a city is out of the question) -- and, even with Brigantine, blending into the sea or a river is A LOT OF WORK with MMP's.  *

But canals might be more interesting if we could -- Ha, Ha -- "bridge" the locks and crossings issues. *

I've noticed these seawalls in a few different places.  Anyone know where I can find them?

Thanks!

Sadly only Pegasus PPond Canals (which is a direct replecement of the CSK 2 set) have time sequenced draw- or lift bridges, and timed canal locks. And these pieces not modular enough, so you need to shrink your canals close to the bridges for 2 or 3 tiles. I love CAL Stone Canals and it has some TE'd bridges and they looks better then the SG-CAL ones close to the bridges, because with the Stone canals I could belive that a little pedalos can pass through under the bridges, but I can't imagine this with the SG-CAL versions. But the SG-CAL version has canal lock, the stone canals hasn't got. Since @mattb325 made the diagonals for the original SG Canal set, and than @rsc204 made the diagonals for the SG-CAL set it's working quite well (and as I remember there is a nice set from the TSC team as well, but I've never used that one, and I don't know how complete that set is with locks and different bridges), but what I did in my cities that the different road-crossings are working as canal separators and on one side of the road f.e.  is a SG-CAL canal, and on the other side is a paeng URC (sadly neither Pegasus nor Paeng made any diagonal pieces, so its quite tricky...) or Stone canals etc... The proper canal bridges are always a missing point in these sets.

I ran into last year a promising development over at SimCity Polska, but I'm not sure if we will ever see this canal set in our plugin folder, which is reminds me to this Urban River Project, which has got abandoned as well!

So maybe someone could be so kind and make a proper modern canal set with a lots of nice and tasty things (bridges, locks, DIAGONALS etc...) :D:D:D

Yepp, that was just a joke, won't happen I guess...

I am not sure about the first one, but for the second one you have some options...

And I am not quite sure if there is a CAM version around... If I will remember the first building, I'll update here... *:8)

Kind regards!
