Doing some digging and I wonder if a change in the Quais de Seine is behind the problem? In-short, the original is a dependency for this lot, but the re-mastered v2 of the Quais de Seine may not have used the same prop IDs. In which case, if you had the newer version, it might explain the missing object. Probably worth loading the new version of the tree props that comes with v2 and seeing if there is a planter in that pack you can replace the originals with.

I do have the new version for the old one is locked, what do you mean by "loading", I still haven't taken the time to do what they adviced me to for moving all my plugins and start to twist bats is all new to me. You can PM if it's too long to write it down here, I'd very much appreciate it.

I tested it with the V2 version of the Quais de Seine... That didn't fix it. The model is not there, and I still wasn't able to locate it yet. And as @simlacroix mentioned, the V1 version is locked, so no testing with those files, and I don't have the old version in my backup...

Kind regards!

I too do not have access to the original v1 of the Quais, but I figure that's what the dependency for the Hotel de Ville would have originally been. It's speculation, but the point I was trying to make is that perhaps when v2 of the Quais was released, that particular prop was accidentally left out. Given the prop exemplar exists, but no model for it in the corresponding DAT, it would seem it was missed somewhere along the line.

When I mentioned "loading" the new file, I should have been clearer, sorry. I meant with a view to using any props in the newer pack, in the lot editor as replacements for the missing props. However now I've looked at the files, the only other planters are both offset and probably won't be much use as-is. Although, the planter that's missing was probably similar, if not identical to the offset Ortho prop we do have a model for. It would be a cinch to make a duplicate set of S3D files, re-centre the object and then that could be used instead. Otherwise replace it with one of either CP's planters or the original Maxis one, there are surely others too. I suspect if we could see the original QdS v1 files, things would be clearer.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

That is definitely possible... Maybe someone else has the V1 version of those files stashed away?! *:8)

Now I do understand... or sort of since I have never used that program before, as I previously wrote, I'm working a lot so I have barely opened SC4K this week and it was mostly to design or do minor stuff, I forced myself not to look on the direction on those trees and I promised to myself I'd look into it on Saturday, I'm sure I'm going to come back with a lot of questions.

For the time being, I've decided I'm going to erase that prop, or whatever is missing, from the squares and that would be it. As you all can see, trees are still loaded so I guess some minor prop is missing. Shoudl there be no more trees, I don't care that much really, I'd just plant any of Giraffe's and problem solved. Once I become more sure on this, I'd also erase something else that is wrong too in one of Jenxs's Rue de Rivoli corner. He even stated he knows about it but he adviced us all to erase it for he won't change it.

OK, I figure it out why you links don't work for me. We use vodafon broadband network here in UK, and there is some kind of content control thingy (I don't know yet what the **** is that and how the **** I can switch it off) and that one causes an infinite loop with imgur and mediafire, but what I don't know, why it does do this only with your picture links permamently...

Sorry to hear your still having trouble seeing the pictures.

I don't have a clue why only my pictures would be affected though, unfortunately. I was thinking about possibly changing some more links over to dropbox - but it appears that that's also blocked in some countries, too, (just got a message about that when I changed some more links over) so I'm not too sure what to do at this point.. Might look into another provider for future entries though if the issues persist.

are there texture overrides for the RRW? I like the mod itself, but I hate the brown textures. it doesn't match well in urban areas. are there textures that makes it match with the grayness of the road crossings?

Not yet, but Rivit, MGB, Simmer and Eggman have been working on a customisable texture replacement mod, which will be ridiculously easy to use and really flexible.

This is a duplicate of a post I made in another area of the board and over at SC4Devotions.  I thought maybe in would attract some additional attention here.

"Found references to the gas stations I am referring to over at Simtropolis in a tutorial file by Ripple Jet called Tutorial: Growing Empty Lots and How to correct them.

The lots are by Bobbo662.  Here are the names:
Old Mobil Service Station -    Old Mobil Service Station_6f1cccd4.SC4Lot
Old Total Service Station -    Old Total Service Station_ef1e581c.SC4Lot
Petro-Canada Service Station -  Petro-Canada Service Station_4f3747d2.SC4Lot
Phillips 66 - Phillips 66_909e6a53.SC4Lot
Retro Gulf Station - Retro Gulf_b2194a01.SC4Lot
Retro Mobil - Retro Mobil v.3_7232aa15.SC4Lot
Retro Texaco Service Station - Retro Texaco_523661b8.SC4Lot

If anybody out there still has access to these on their computers or backups, I would very much appreciate having them.

These would make a great addition to those wanting to keep some small rural areas in their region.

Keeping my fingers cross I will be able to get these again.

BTW I don't know how applicable the Ripple Jet tutorial is today but it looks like a great read for those wanting to tweak their lots.
"

Again, these files are not on the LEX or the STEX, looking for fellow SC4'er to search their archives.

Hi!

Can you send a link. Sorry I'm lazy enough not to mining through half of the SC4D forum for this topic, but I'm interested in! :)

Well, I would ask @nos.17 about the really old original Bobbo662 files, since he  was the one, who revisited B62's old stuffs, with a lot of never before released items. He might have those original LOTs, but you might want to check his B62 uploads. there is a megapack with a lot of gas station which were based on (according to the lot names) the files you mentioned above. However I don't have a clue what the Phillips 66 is, but I'm curious... :)

They look ridiculously small, but I can distinguish the hands of Diego del Llano and Darknono35 there!

Tell me if I got them right...

Where can I find the two freight buildings in this image?  The one with containers and a crane, and the terminus with trucks in front?
