"If you try to please everybody, you often times end up pleasing nobody, especially yourself. When somebody offers to do a favor for free, like making a mod for SimCity 4, you shouldn't be overly critical of something generously given to you. In other words, you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth." - Twilight Sparkle after playing SimCity

Not bad, really. Which types of traffic does it support, though (bus, car, freight truck, pedestrians)? This would be interesting to know. Also, doesn't it interfere with any subway line already existing?

Well, that update from the NAM team certainly seems like it will streamline my downtown highway intersections.

Roll on, 39!!

@WolfZe Any chance of a W2W version?

As you can easily see it is a corner building and also W2W, if you want. The side with the mural was previously adjacent to a building that has now been demolished.

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

Fictional Vodafone office building. With an outside elevator and a foldable glass roof that can be extended to form an advertising screen.

Yo, guys --

Back to Wilhelmshaven South......

Moving north along the west side of "the inlet", we come to the "Shinonome Business Complex" perched on the upper level with a pier and small riverside park below.  (This is directly opposite the lower marina over on the "Manhattan-style" island.)  Over on the left end, you see Ardmore Investments and 5657 Wilshire Blvd ( both by @mattb325), with the Cerulean Tower Office Bldg, and the sprawling Shinonome Gardens Office grouping.

swMp7Mp.jpg

Anchored just below the complex is a large cabin cruiser.  The wealthy folk on board chose to lie-to here, rather than go to the Kaiserhoff Hotel.  It is fairly easy to take a water taxi ashore and access the fine dining restaurants as well as the flashy entertainment of the big city.  It seems that the Kaiser is vacationing at the Kaiserhoff and His Imperial Majesty is well known as a stickler for "Court" etiquette -- rather dull and quite lacking in "entertainment".  Plus -- the picture is for @The British Sausage.  *:thumb:   The landscape is mostly MMP work -- with a few custom tree filler lots, Heblem Sands, cattails by @Girafe, and NBVC corals, rocks, and sailboats.

0Ie5gqy.jpg

This is the City Municipal Pier for the Water Police and Fire boat, designed with a small public boardwalk, fishing pier, food kiosk, and plazas for the quiet pursuits of leisure -- mostly to offset some of the operating costs.   The scene is composed entirely of the old PEG sets with MMP landscape and modified boardwalk lots to provide access ramps at both ends.  The night lighting is a nice touch along the shoreline of a large city.

z3KTkSK.jpg

The Shinonome Business Complex has an impressive plaza / promenade along the waterfront with landscaped pathways, spacious plazas, and the relaxing atmosphere of several spouting fountains.  There is a two-level access stairway leading down to the Municipal Pier and the "Riverwalk Gardens" along the shoreline.  On the mid-level landing of the stairs, there are two "Chess Parks" provided for the serious lunchtime players.

The pathways are "modified" Paeng, stairs by @T Wrecks,  the Minerva Fountain, custom 1x1 PedMall textured paving lots, custom sandstone textured retaining walls, custom 1x1 tree filler lots, and MMP landscape.  The oblong fountains are "modified" from the @tariely re-lot of "Obelisk Place".  She did such a beautiful job with them that I simply had to have them for this, particular, layout.

2MCJk8D.jpg

There are four different hues of night lighting in this picture that, oddly enough, seem to come together quite well.  I was originally inspired to create this block of buildings because of the unusual green-blue glow of the Shinonome Gardens lot (so much so, that I plopped it twice).  The over-lighting of the fountains shows up nicely, and I can imagine strolling among them after an evening performance at the nearby opera house.

A bit off-topic:

It was announced this morning that Dame Diana Rigg passed away.  If you are a man of a "certain age" this has a somber significance.  I find a world without Mrs' Emma Peel in it, a much sadder place.  And -- OH!...how I wish I had been born John Steed.

"May flights of Angels carry thee to thy rest."

Great work again! Thanks for the MMP picture too!

After spending $200 only on shipping costs I got a new PC *:D

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 (6C/12T)

GPU: GTX 1650 Super 4GB (It is not enough for what I need but I did not have the money to buy a better one).

RAM: 32GB Corsair Venegance 3200MHz

MOBO: Gigabyte B450M DS3H

PSU: Thermaltake 500w

Before I could handle a maximum of 5 million polygons and now I can handle more than 40 million (In the image there are a little more than 32 million triangles).

Test_Polys.png

By my calculations the rendering times will be reduced by 80-90% but I haven't had time to test it yet.

@Barroco Hispano Lovely work here. Just wondering... How to you plan to export these creations to SC4? I would like to BAT some new catenaries sets for the Hybrid Railway HRW and would not mind some pointers.

Glad you could get you new PC up and running *:thumb:
