Built-in pedestrian crossing for my little French town. Now I just have to find the right base and overlay textures.

@Scaley McSlither

They are courtesy of @Barroco Hispano.  You should drop in and read through the journal entries (they're only about 2500 words -- a quick read).  I explain where everything comes from and how it's put together -- not to mention a bunch more pictures.

"Barroco Hispano's" models are pure works of art !!  High definition -- expertly colored and textured --  and amazingly accurate.  These ships are to SC4, what the Mona Lisa is to Fine Art.

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

(Harry Lime to Holly Martins...Graham Greene's THE THIRD MAN...1949)

And finally replaced the little houseboat placeholder. Now it looks a lot better, I think.

@Dreadnought Thanks, I believe I will tour Wilhelmshaven. And I agree, @Barroco Hispano has created some amazing items that will hopefully grace the game one day! If nothing else, they would be the reason I will trial 3DSMax - so that I can help render these amazing objets d'art!

Please, PLEASE. PLEASE,  tell me you intend to upload them ! #TreeHuggingTariely

If you decide to give this a try -- start with one of the German battlecruisers from WW I (hint - hint). *:D  They are beautiful ships.

Absolutely. I was planning on releasing them properly once I have some finished lots to go with them, but they're more or less ready to be shared. Feel free to send me a PM if you'd like the CP set. I've also got a set of 12 Girafe species (Alder, Ash, Beech, Birch, Chestnut, Common Spruce, Cypress, Elm, Linden, Maple, Poplar, Rowan) that I can share.

Beautiful! Hope you release it. One comment though. I know the roof is supposed to be sheet metal, but it sort of looks like greenhouse plastic.

Oh, well that explains everything! *:D I'm used to seeing solid roofs on high buildings, as I live in an area susceptible to hurricanes and tornadoes.

It's okay. Somehow the post also reminded me of my grandfather. Whenever my mother brought food on the table that he didn't like, he would say:" It's delicious, but I don't like it".
He was then always allowed to eat out in the restaurant.*

that is absolutely phenomenal! I am hoping that you can find a way to continue to bring these amazing creations to life and share them with this grateful community!

The building already exists. Just textured differently. I only made this version because the plastic roof fits better into my city....*;)

I hope not - I try to lead by example. Your creations are wonderful and anyone that doesn't like them is welcome to not download. Any criticism should be constructive and genuinely meant in a positive way. Unfortunately there are always people that love to complain and criticize and still be completely incapable of proving they can do better.

Thank you, just don't take it so seriously or even personally. I'm just a little demotivated and angry ...
I know there are a lot of good, decent, and capable people around here. :ohyes:

There are always people who fawn, toady and boot-lick, and be completely incapable of proving they can give honest, objective opinions that help members get better results.

It's not even a real bridge. Just a TE LOT that is plopped on the street. And since I can't find the right textures, it doesn't exactly match the street. Maybe the texture experts know what to do.
