I really haven't mastered skills of nurbs modeling, but this hologram can save time on texturing, This Ironman still looks odd somewhere.*:rofl: @Terring @thecitiescenter Please don't be scared of this, I'm still learning.:}

Hahaaa! Dear Matt, Your balloon made me smile for a whole day, Was there a real one in reality? Thank you.*:thumb:

@Raymond7cn  I think you're definitely on to something thats revolutionary here... who woulda thought back in  2003 that we'd have holograms in SC4!?!  I'm looking forward to seeing your continued progress on this one!!!  I actually think these will look great next to Malls or other pedestrian plazas and outdoor spaces.  Something similar to this giant Gundam robot  in Japan (only holographic).  I also wonder if you could make "holographic billboards" with advertisements?

Forge of Empires has a future age named Virtual Future. As you can guess from the name, Virtual Future is all about holograms. Almost every building has holograms, and even have holographic animal-like vehicles on its roads. This video might gives you some ideas and inspirations. It even shows some very cool neon roads for your ANT-AM project.

And here are some pictures of those buildings. This age is heavenly inspired by Far East architecture, mostly Japan, so you could make buildings that mixes Chinese architecture with holograms. Those holograms could be rendered as props to be used by everybody with the Lot Editor.

...how about holograms as automata too? This scene from the "2057: The World in 50 Years" documentary might gives you some ideas.

You, Sir -- are a Scholar and a Gentleman !!!  *:thumb:  *:thumb:  *:thumb:

You have brought a huge smile to my face and it will remain just as big for many days, because I'm already figuring out where to put the "Angry Baby Trump" balloon.  I will find a place for the WHO and the protesters -- since that building was the inspiration.  But I'm currently landscaping a complex with "The Place" and "The Shard" in the business district -- putting the protesters there also will add insult to injury.  (And I'm positive that there will be many more protests in my cities!)  I am MOST pleased because I knew you would instantly see the humor !!  I also think you may have scored a "FIRST".  I don't think any other US President has been represented on this site !!!  THANK YOU -- soooooo very much !!

@Raymond7cn

YES !!  It is absolutely TRUE !!  In England, they have long burned figures of public ridicule in effigy.  But ONLY the Brits could accurately depict the man as a petulant, daiper-wearing baby with a cell phone !!  *:rofl:  *:rofl:  *:rofl:

*:idea: You are "The Statue-man" Raymond -- there are many, many historical statues out there that could be created.  I have been putting your statues all over my city and MORE would be even BETTER !!  (As a thought -- Winston Churchill might be a nice addition.)

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

@The British Sausage

Some years ago, I spent a great deal of time in the UK and was much impressed by the courteous people.

As a fledgling architect, I found the cities fascinating with their mix of historical eras as well as modern.  Industry was well represented and equally impressive.  But I fell in love with the rural countryside.  The small, quaint villages tucked into the rolling green landscape -- none of them too far apart from the last one -- and each one with a cozy little Public House to sooth the weary traveler.

The ONLY other place I miss with such fond memories is Bavaria.

But your map pictures are so good, they bring all of that back to me.

Dear Dreadnought, I got it, I guess it's called freedom, right? One of Canadian friend had told me that it's just the duty of president, I don't know much about politics, but I like freedom.*:D

Frankly, You're giving me way more credit than I deserve. those Louvre statues was made by others with 3d scan technic, I just added some appendix, by now I could only model simply models, such as Ironman, since it's not such complicated as human, Nevertheless, I hope one day I could make Churchill for you. but first of all I have to finish that long list of my work.*:D

I'm very happy you like them, I thought it's also very important to bring BATs into your beautiful cities, This sort of BATting work would have been inconceivable boring without anyone use them, It's just your kind words encourages me in modeling, for that, I Thank you!:}

Yours Sincerely,

-- Raymond

The "Infant Terrible", himself

Actually, I believe the expression is l'enfant terrible.

Enfant terrible (/ˌɒ̃fɒ̃ tɛˈrblə/; French: [ɑ̃fɑ̃ tɛʁibl]; "unruly child") is a French expression, traditionally referring to a child who is terrifyingly candid by saying embarrassing things to parents or others. However, the expression has drawn multiple usage in careers of art, fashion, music, and other creative arts. In these careers, it implies a successful, and often young, "genius" who is very unorthodox, striking, and in some cases, offensive, or rebellious.

One of Webster's Dictionary's definitions of enfant terrible is "a usually young and successful person who is strikingly unorthodox, innovative, or avant-garde"

It is an expression usually reserved for ground-breaking rebels such as Pablo Picasso, Jean Luc Godard, Henry Miller, Jackson Pollack etc.

Pretty nice compliment. I would have just said "effigy" myself.

Nice city pic btw.

@The British Sausage

Those pictures remind me of parts of Scotland.

It had some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever seen.  But on my third trip up there, I stayed in an isolated Bed & Breakfast somewhere between Inverness and Balmoral.  The elderly owner was a good cook, but the rations were a bit meager and her insistence that HOT water and extra towels would be an additional charge was a bit off-putting.  I left her a 20 pound tip on the pillow -- I figured she needed the money more than I did.  But -- future visits were spent in more commercial "tourist" lodgings.

Your pictures are a nice reminder.
