Date: 4/26/2005 2:49:06 AM Author: Lord_Bertrum Are you really ready to start this, I think you have a number of stadiums and other projects uncompleted. Will they be forgotten about?quote> Maybe he'll release the entire neighborhood all at once! How cool is that?

SG, just an idea for a reward building that's missing in the game right now. How about a good old post office?

My next building is almost done. I will be adding some final touches before putting it on the STEX. Any improvement suggestions are welcome. https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/files//waldorado1.JPG align=baseline>

Only 14 hours to render on the new machine? How long did it take on the old one?? Anyway, I can honestly say the RLS tower is most realistic building I have seen on the STEX. It really is spectacular! How large is the model file and poly count? Must be a monster! My machine slows down quite a lot when I get past 200k poly count.

Wow, the RLS tower looks spectacular! Is that a real functional road going through the building? How does that work?

I don't think I'd like the bronze color copper on the roof. It'd look too much like the rest of the building color. I am going to put more details on the walls, and at the entrance. I am also thinking of putting a dome skylight in the empty spot on the roof. I guess I'll also lighten the roof a little bit.

The building would fit on a 4x2 lot and it'd pretty much take all of that up. But I think I'll put it on a 4x3 to put in some props. Kefka: What's the original crown color? I was going to add prop bush boxes at the bottom. Lord_Bertrum: I think either NY or Chicago tileset would be OK. I am not sure which would be more appropriate right now. MTLT_17: Sure, go ahead and post some sample pictures of those buildings. I like the older buildings too. They tend to have more character than the glass skyscrapers.
