I am looking forward to have this building in my cities. There's so much visual interest in the model and textures are great! Keep up the good work.

That's a cool idea for a thread, Vlasky! I don't have a new catch to offer. All the buildings shown so far would have been such a great addition to the game. My favourite however would have been delija21's Palace Albania: a diagonal corner of modernist style. Don't think we have anything at all in that category on any SC fansite.

1. warmer 2. yes, but only a little 3. yes 4. yes 5. no 6. that's a tough one; the red lights on top of your (SimFox) Tian Men looked terrific; a simple idea but I think many BATters were like "why haven't I ever thought of this"; I also think that there is a danger in overusing this in BATting when we would end up in a SC downtown sparkled all over with red dots in zoom 3. Regarding this building, I think it is not tall enough to have terrorist aim helpers. Because in a North American CBD this building with its 25 floors would be too small to be awarded red air traffic light status anyway, right? I have a last question and I hope I am not kind of too late or considered a newbie nitpicking at real good stuff. Because I really do think this is a top notch BAT. What I would like to understand is the different light pattern of warm and cold light on the main body of the building. What I totally understand is: yellow-ish nighlight = residential, blue-ish nightlight = office. One Woodward Avenue mixes these, however. Is there a reason for this? From walking around with open eyes through real life I wouldn't understand immediately why a company would have different lights in - say human resources than in finance department.

Good to see some progress. It's rather difficult to evaluate the staircase from the angle of your last picture. I think breaking it into segments is a good idea. If I look very hard at it, I believe I can see it. Cool aircraft model. You definitely have a variety of interests when it comes to modeling.

Here is another Euro W2W. This one could have been built between the 1920's and the 1960's. Stats: R$$ - 76 residents Lot size: 1x2 Medium density residential zone Euro tileset No external dependencies Installation: unzip the download and copy all 3 files it contains into your plugin folder Enjoy! -
This is a very exciting project. I am looking forward to use this in game. The glass looks really great. However, I notice that most of the tilted windows are bright (obviously they reflect the sunlight), but some are not. Is this a choice you deliberately made when texturing the windows? Does it have something to do with the ground map you used for the window reflections?

Hello everybody, Welcome to my Bat thread. I am going to show my models here and will finetune them with your help. Let´s start with my first building; nothing extravagant, just a simple W2W 1 tile wide residential with a pretty generic Euro look. Front Back Left wall Haven´t done nightlights yet. Please let me know what you think. EDIT: Rendered the building and placed in on a test lot in order to check its proportions in-game. Looks OK to me. EDIT: Fixed (decreased) saturation of roof and facade texture.
