Disclaimer This file has been created by FrankyFour, igc, and Andreas over at the now defunct SC4Kurier. There are currently plans to restore the lost content from the Kurier, but this will take some time, so, in the meantime, I, 11241036, am uploading this file on behalf of SFBT and in consultation with Tyberius06, in case it is needed as a dependency. Short description Winegrowing has been a tradition over centuries in many cultures, and thus, vineyards are a common sight in many regions. With this set of growable vineyards and four ploppable lots, everyone can create their individual vineyard. Other than the props that have been available so far, the new ones in this set were designed for maximum slope tolerance, allowing a nice-looking result in almost every occasion. The vineyard hut also has a custom foundation which makes it pretty slope-conforming. All lots make use of a number of vine props that will appear randomly via a prop family, so every tile looks a little different. The same is true for the small huts, there are three slightly different models included in the prop pack. Every now and then, field workers appear, picking the grapes. The ploppable lots are almost neutral in the game; they don't have a monthly cost, don't need power or water, don't produce any garbage and don't pollute the groundwater. As a positive side effect, they have a small air cleaning effect - eco farming, in other words. For further information, please refer to the Readme in the download. Tariel-Villavicencio Chateau-Beynac Grand Cru 7x6 Grow I like good wine (that’s “Grand Cru” meaning in French). So here’s a vineyard, relotted from Villavicencio’s creation. The lot is IR stage 2 (agro-industry) and Grow only [cheat lotplop to the rescue !]. It can be extended with more vineywards on two sides at your leisure. You can check Villavicencio’s content on the STEX. The dependencies are as follows (updated from the original !): BlaM Essentials Version 1 BSC MegaProps_D66_Vol02.dat BSC MegaProps_MJB_Vol02.dat BSC Mega Props SG Vol01 BSC Textures vol.02 VIP-Delecto Plop People Peg-SPAM Super Resource Pack (if you don't already have the full SPAM) - 3 files only: PEG-SPAM_Crops-01_Resource_b200.dat, PEG-SPAM_Mod_Main_b200.dat, PEG-SPAM_Resource-01_b200.dat Nos.17 Essentials RFY Mega Props Vol. 01 Tariel-Rivit's Essentials v5 SHK Parking Pack: SHK_ParkingPack.dat Tamorr’s Resource 2.05: Tamorr_Family_Prop_V1.dat Villavicencio textures ( StoneclearRustic.dat & StoneClearRusticDemie.dat) : included And the following 4 from down the list on https://community.simtropolis.com/files/category/73-workingman-productions-wmp/ WMP Mega Props vol. 01 - Misc General Props WMP Mega Props vol. 02 - Misc Industrial Props Many thanks to my technical gurus, Rsc204, Kosc and Dreadnought. And especially Rivit, who lighted my SC4world and is always generously ready to help. And the guys and gals on the forums (Twalsh, Matias93, Fantozzi, Catty-cb, Corinamarie…). We need help when we begin peeking under the hood of SC4. That the community is always there for us noobies is a constant and pleasant reassurance. General warnings : General warnings : (1) This is for SC4 Rush Hour. (2) I play with NAM36, RRW-EU selection (it shouldn’t interfere here, but you never know !) (3) I also play with Twrecks Maxis HD Tree Replacement (if you don’t use it, your trees might look a bit different ; perhaps you should use it,,,) (4) I play Nights. Hence the included RVT zNightLighting. Depending on your using or not a Light Replacement Mod, the lighting will be slightly different, but There Will Be Light. If you don’t want it, you can either tweak my lights in the Lot Editor or get rid of them entirely. (5) I like trees. I make intensive use of trees. Especially Girafe tree collection on the LEX ; so here’s a link, once for all ; just follow it into the woods. After a ridiculously long wait, I can finally present my first BAT, Shottesbrooke WInery. The BAT & LOT work on this was finished earlier this year (after months of work, well documented on my main thread at SC4D). But it has taken until now to get all the modding finished (thanks to my main partner in crime, Dobs!) Shottesbrooke Winery is a real world, family owned business (my family), in the Mclaren Vale wine region of South Australia. (http://www.shottesbrooke.com.au/) The first Shottesbrooke vineyards were planted in 1981 and the winery was built in 1994. Shottesbrooke produces a range of reds & whites and will be sure to please the discerning sim wine connoisseur. This winery is a farming reward lot that will become available when certain requirements are met. Namely you need to grow 4 vineyards (by zoning for agriculture), as well as having 10 parks and 150 R$$ residents. Unlike maxis farms, the vineyards won’t leave your city’s water pollution charts looking like some sort of Chernobyl size disaster has taken place. Also the winery itself does require water. Bottoms up! Stats Building Category: Reward Lot size: 5 x 5 tiles Lot Wealth: Medium Wealth Jobs: IM 66 Plop cost: 142,752 Bulldoze cost: 717 Monthly cost: nil Max. (LEGEND) Special thanks also to jmyers, couchpotato, cogeo and kwakelaar for their mountains of help and advice. Thanks to Barby for advice and some mod work, such as the naming and organising of the props. On top of that thanks to joelyboy911, Adroman, hooha47, mattb325, T Wrecks, Xxdita, tag_one, jasoncw, Diggis, Choco, Orange_o, Ripplejet, Puresim and mrdazza for help in my threads (and elsewhere). Thanks to Girafe from team TSC for his excellent red tractor model (with night lights). Lastly (and mostly), I worship at the altar that is dobdriver/drunkapple. (another LEGEND) His cunning mind solved many tricky problems associated with this project – and he made me laugh, even during the dark times (like when I forgot to pay my electricity bill). Feedback and Support Visit my threads at SC4D or ST and ask away. Thanks and Enjoy Staff Edit 12/12/2019: Updated dependencies as CP Prop Pack 2009a is now included in BSC MEGA Props CP Vol 02 (v1.0). -CF- 22 Comments

Hi, over the last couple of weeks I have been learning to create my first BAT. It is a rendition of the family business, Shottesbrooke Winery in McLaren Vale, South Australia. This is a TD (Team Downunder) project. At the moment my main problem is figuring out the best way of making the layout of the winery's gardens & paths accurate while allowing me to use props. I gather the use of base textures & LODs are the main ways. It been suggested using base textures (as these are easier on the game, plus there's so many great ones already) But won't I have to create a whole bunch of new ones to make the layout accurate? This photo is my first quick go at LODs once I figured out roughly how they worked. There is a gap on the left hand side of the building which I assume is because of the LOD not being tight enough. But why the long shadows, some with wavy tops? There are also new textures issues with this version (the lawn is nuclear green, the pavers have changed colour etc,) (I am starting to feel a little burnt out, is this the point I try something else and come back to this one?) Also I would really appreciate ANY feedback from those that can see other mistakes I am making. Thanks

A winery complex located in Laguardia, Alava, Spain. The building is conceived as an element that is integrated into the powerful, surrounding landscape while being somehwat autonomous at the same time, in the manner of a site-specific sculpture. Calatrava adopted the strategy of giving a volumetric treatment to the roof and walls, physical limits of the landscape outside and the winery within, so that continuity between the two spaces is achieved not through transparency but through the "static movement" of the enclosures. Currently it is only a landmark, making it an RCI ploppable is no my forte. When you rate the building please rate by the quality of the BAT building rather than its functionality.- 24 Comments
