  1. Lots seem to have some issues displaying correctly. Is this a bug or am I just doing something wrong? This happens to both existing lots (created with PIM-X 2009) and newly created ones.
  2. New Properties Patches

For someone out of the loop on the recent developments of PIM-X: what qualifies as 'old' here?
  3. Galleria Cruise Ship Terminal from Mattb325

The file is available here (or here in dark nite). You'll need the multifunction station (or in dark nite).
  4. Help with Everseasonal Flora

No advice to offer on the matter, but following this out of interest. Using the seasonal variant of Aerden, but mostly because of the pretty autumn colours. Would love a permanent version of that.
  5. Love the way SENT looks and really appreciate the effort that has gone into this! The look and feel of the textures is perfect and it just seems like a giant upgrade. I had a few points on my wish list: Grass textures: I'm using Lowkee's Appalachian grass as a uniform texture for all wealth levels so standard grass on transportation tiles really stands out. It would be great to be able to customize my SENT setup in this regard. Possibly through Rivit's GoFSH similar to @hugues aroux? Crossing textures: Having crossings at almost every junction is a bit much for my liking. I usually add crossing lots manually. Having an on/off toggle option in the installation would be fantastic. Props: The street signs are a nice touch, but some don't fit with the Scandinavian style I'm going for. Similarly I think I spotted a conflict with my stoplight mod. An on/off toggle option would work here too, maybe per category of props?

So far @11241036's texture pack and the Vortext dirt and grass have been great to fill those smaller bits of 1x1 tiles. Might eventually have to create something that overwrites the ID's of the former's vanilla grass to fit my Appalachian grass. That way my lots would still be compatible for the majority of users.

These Haarlemmergold buildings still look great! I tried to give each garden a different look, but avoiding overlapping textures isn't easy (Oh, and need to adjust that hedge though )
  8. Can't find it?... Ask here!

Thanks! They're close, but not the 'real' thing. Maybe I'm being a bit too perfectionist about this though Very grateful to have those props available! I'm already using them in my new lots!

Figured a new computer was a good time to rebuild my plugins and PIM-X folders. Relotting older Dutch files was on my list for some time. The back gardens still need some more work, but happy how it's coming along:
  10. Can't find it?... Ask here!

Working on some Dutch lots and I was wondering if someone already created a prop for the omnipresent 'fietsnietje'? I'm aware of some great bike racks, but haven't found these. My guess is they weren't included in the Dutch prop packs as they were only just phased in back then.

Good to see I'm not the only one using @Heblem's MMP's for this!

For the growable version: For the ploppable one:

    Think that's one from zero7: https://www.sc4evermore.com/index.php/downloads/download/12-commercial/138-sc4d-LEX-legacy-zero7-commercial-pack

Wow! Is that a prop for the foundation of the church? Great combination!
  15. Lutheran Church

    Version 1.0.0

    139 Downloads

A 3x5 church lot, designed to fit in W2W environments. It functions as a museum in the game. This excellent building was created by @Ten Doornkaat more than eighteen years ago! I just spruced it up with some more modern props. The attached screenshots show my custom pavement (created through @rsc204's MTRDK) and grass (Lowkee's Appalachian terrain mod). As far as I know the used texture ID's are standard, so it should work whether or not you're using particular mods. Let me know in the comments if you run into any trouble! Also feel free to let me know if you end up using this in your cities. I'd love to see some screenshots! Dependencies Lutherske Kark (Specifically Eembden Lutherske Kark 1-0x5ad0e817_0x9270fb99_0xbc0000.SC4Model) 11241036 Textures AGC - Streets DLC BSC VIP Girafe Flora Pack (Specifically the files for bushes, daisies and oaks) SC4D LEX Legacy - BSC Common Dependencies Pack (Specifically BSC Mega Props CP vol01) Optional Girafe Maxis Fence HD Replacement Mod (Replaces certain fences and hedges. This lot will function without this file, but I highly recommend using it to get the full intended look and feel) This may seem like quite a list, but most are well-used by the community and will probably be in your plugins folder already. I tend to reuse the same textures and props, so if you like my lots it might be worth getting the files
  16. Show us What you're Working On

Been thinking about diving back into Dutch plugins for a while and @kschmidt's post gave me the final push. Here's a relot for an older STEX lot: Edit: It's available here:
  17. Show us What you're Working On

Finally had some time to continue an old project. I lost the original files, but this version came together fast. Think it's almost finished?
  18. Show us What you're Working On

The props look beautiful, but I'm also intrigued by the pavement texture. Is that available somewhere?
  19. Show us What you're Working On

Finally made a start with the standardization of my 1x1 pavement lots (railway for scale):
  20. PIM-X Save Problem

Does PIM list the textures like this (bottom two rows)? If so, check whether the texture you're trying to add is actually loaded in PIM on startup. It might be that while the texture ID is saved on the lot, PIM simply doesn't have a texture for that. Which will lead to it displaying it with no base. The game will load the entire plugins folder, including the texture.
  21. Christmas Comes Early

Creative use of the tree! Will have to keep this in mind for December!
  22. Dead_End's lots

Hi! Through whatever route you have found this thread. After some time of posting the stuff I made, I figured it was about time to create a central spot to share the things I'm working on. Maybe get some advice from others or possibly offer it to people. My cities are usually Scandinavian inspired, so the lots will most likely focus on that part of the world. Feel free to let me know if there is a building you would like a lot for. No guarantees though! What you'll find here Lots of lots and possibly some textures. What you won't find Models of any kind. Figuring out PIM-X was hard enough and with limited free time I don't have any ambition to start making models. Besides, we already have over two decades of other people's work available right now
  23. Dead_End's lots

Some outlines in PIM-X of a new project: I think I had the stands and boarding (model by @coultharda) in my 'to do' folder for a while now. It started when I saw this creative post over at the SimCity 4 subreddit. Like with a lot of other files from 2007 the model still holds up, but the vanilla textures and props don't do it any favors. It just needs a bit of remastering really Staying with the Scandinavian theme of my cities I wanted to create a small sporting complex that could realistically serve as a stadium for smaller 2nd division teams in Norway or Sweden. Fortunately @Oidaas has uploaded several prop packs with buildings that could double for this purpose. The building near the corner was originally a train station, but I think it also works as a club house. The one above it is a barn, but could also be a dressing room. Plenty stuff still to be done: the vanilla football field textures are good enough, but I'm not a fan of the edges of the grass. I tried to cover them up with some hedges on the left, but that's not an ideal solution either as far as I'm concerned. I also haven't decided on the upper part of the lot. Some small stands or benches would probably work.
  24. Dead_End's lots

And it's available: It comes in a 1x1 and 2x2 configuration. The 1x1 is really basic, but should fit well in W2W areas. The 2x2 probably fits well on corners. The design has just some minor differences with the version I shared earlier. I tried switching out the garages for other props, but couldn't find any that would look better. Moved them slightly towards the corner and added some extra flowers to fill the gap. The car is different too for some color variation.
