Nice work, Ray. Is this road a set of smaller, modular lots that all together make a bigger one?

At the first try, i made a circle just one Lot, then i found that i couldn't rendered it with gmax, i was aware that Robin has said before, One lot couldn't be so big (20x20). Then i cut it to 8 pieces, and put them together in game. it also reminds me that vertiport should be more smaller.*:D

I don't know why the average income is reset to about 40,000 and 20,000 suddenly. My residents are high wealth and almost no residential in development (only adds 1,000 new residents). What's going on? Companies suddenly disappear? Massive government corruption? Residents not educated anymore (despite otherwise in reality)?

I guess they just got older and get suddenly replaced by younger sims which are going to study and learn things through their lives.

This is not an alien. It's a CS$ grow-able fuel depot, originally made for the SimMars Beta 3 but never used into the mod. Many years ago I found an external link with plenty of buildings that had been cut from the mod, and I remember I asked @AndisArt permission to use them for my city journal Eden: The New Frontier. He agreed, but only if I'm not going to release them. A promise that I'm going to keep forever *:)

Is it a natural transition of farm? Or another secret mod of CoriBoom™.*:D

xJ321wi.jpg

I remember that pic indeed Raymond, and it's when we were testing the automata for your tractors. :}

The circled transition I can confirm is indeed a feature of the Maxis farming overhaul fillers mod Cori and I have been working on. There with the blending of the R$ grass and the fields. We still are focussed on Effect Dir stuff in the meantime, but it is something we plan to get back to and release to the STEX someday if anyone is interested.

Previously this post Cori made presents a comparison of what'll be possible with transforming the appearance of Maxis farms. (Another example here also.)

Someone asked via PM about how I did the above High Tide Effect. I'm including my answer here too in case anyone is curious:

Short answer: I changed the Sea Level height to get the 2nd picture with the water raised.

Longer answer: First, my zones are placed really goofy inasmuch as they are on the side of a hill. This is what causes them to grow with stilts, basements, or both. That's already built into the game and no modding is needed for that.

Next I need to know what the terrain elevation is for the flat part at the top of the cliff. I used the advanced Terrain Query for that. Here are the steps to do that:

  1. Press Ctrl+x to open up the cheat code box
  2. Type in: terrainquery
  3. Press the enter key (you won't see anything happen)
  4. Now click the Query Tool
  5. Hover said query tool over the terrain
  6. The y value is the height in meters

7010-6945.jpg

^ Note: To zone on the hillside without the game flattening the area, hold down the Control Key whilst placing the zones.

Next, I saw the height is 299.8 meters:

7010-6947.jpg

Exit the game completely. Then in Reader, I edited the SeaLevel to be 290. (The amount being a guess which happened to work just as I wanted.) This is found in the Terrain Properties exemplar 6534284A-88CD66E9-00000001.

This picture is showing the original value of 250:

7010-6948.jpg

Once edited to 290, I saved the file and loaded the game to get the pic with the water raised. Finally, I exited the game, re-edited the SeaLevel back to its original 250 meters value, and re-saved the file.

Took a grass lot and embedded it with Girafe's berries in LotEditor. When I went to plop bedrock on it, it looks like it's actually growing through the lot, not on top of it like it usually does. This created a happy little accident for my happy little rocks...and happy little trees.

You can even connect off the tile where the two diagonal ends of the curves come together so it's viable for use. Likewise, you could expand it to 22x22 which would also look more circular, allowing for another avenue to cross N/S in addition to E/W.

Thank you so much Robin,*:thumb: I got it, I always feel like the time is inadequate in simtropolis, so many things need to be experienced and to learn, I haven't got time to finish school(Your Youtube course*:blush:), Hope i could accomplish it within my sophomore year.:}

Same problem with IRM and existing Maxis Industries but, the base texture is also overflowing.

Airplanes was appear on residental buildings! :D

Plot twist: they may be a part of the buildings. There are indeed real life buildings with airplanes for various reasons, fun fact.
