Maybe they're not walkers but bikers. I remember I've seen many times in the past, during my vacations in various country places in Greece, tourists on bikes going from one town to another. Maybe a cheaper alternative to rent-a-car.

I don't know why the average income is reset to about 40,000 and 20,000 suddenly. My residents are high wealth and almost no residential in development (only adds 1,000 new residents). What's going on? Companies suddenly disappear? Massive government corruption? Residents not educated anymore (despite otherwise in reality)?

Just upzoned some Medium Density Commercial to High Density and now am getting these blank looking paved or plaza lots appear but with jobs. The one queried here and circled in the pic doesn't even have a name associated with it. The one directly beside it is the Disc Hotel which I saw in one other instance. And another lot was called Techno Mart which I can only assume is the Techno Mart linked below as it had a huge amount of jobs but it appeared as a 3x2 paved area whereas the actual Techno Mart should be much much larger.

The only thing I can think of for finding out this mysterious blank lot is either checking your Readmes, if there's a CO-$$$ or CS-$$$ building with 6,612 jobs, or the arduous task of literally opening every file in your Plugins folder with Reader and checking if there's one exemplar file with a "Capacity Satisfied" property of 6,612 (hexadecimal: 19D4) CO-$$$ or CS-$$$.

Judging from the usage of Maxis props and apparently multiple base textures, all by Maxis as well, it's probably a rather old file, back from 2003-2005 or the like.

Another option would be using the Lot Editor and checking all CS-$$$ and CO-$$$ lots there. At worst, check literally every lot there; if you are lucky, there may at least be a lot name helping you to identify it. Or you can write down the Lot ID and search in Windows Explorer for this ID, if you are lucky, you can find it.

So your problem is not unique. There is a whole thread about it over at SC4 Devotion. You might want to take some time to read at least the first few posts to understand what's happening. Also there is a provided cleanitol file in the first post, which you can run with the BSC Cleanitol tool and if you didn't DATpack and/or rename the lots in your plugin folder, then you should be able to remove all these blank growable landmarks. But I would recommend you to bulldoze all these blank lots in your cities before you run the cleanitol.

Wow thank you! I haven't dug in to any of this yet but this looks super helpful and I know for sure I have the Sunshine 60 BAT downloaded cause it's in another one of my big cities. Thankfully I think this is only affecting the one city so far so bulldozing these shouldn't be hard. Thank you thank you.

Not exactly an oddity. More like an unexpected (and awesome) result of an experiment.

Yesterday I downloaded Maxis Tree Replacement Mod  by @_marsh_ to give it a try. It needs only a couple of dependencies, most of them I already had. So, why not? After all, what could possibly go wrong? Or right? Well, I have a mod that add trees on streets and the "bad" habit of putting plenty of those green fellas in both my lots and cities to make them as green as possible, and this mod replaces the Maxis trees with bigger ones. The result?

An epic, solarpunk, green madness of so many big trees, that can cover entire buildings and hug entire facilities with their leafs!

Of course I'm always looking for ways to expand my green belts and plant as many trees as possible, even to the point in which most people would say "dude, that's too much", and I still believe that I'm not going to live in your city if it has more buildings than trees. But this is like Oprah Winfrey saying: "You get a tree! And you get a tree! And you get a tree! Everybody gets a tree!"

And of course everybody deserve so many trees. They reduce air, visual and sound pollution, provide fresh oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide, prevent floods by absorbing the excessive water and by functioning as barriers, reduce the heat with their shadows, increase the psychological morale of the citizens, and provide privacy for our homes and places for little animals to settle in and live. Don't you love it when you open the window in the morning and see squirrels playing around in your yard, while under the cool shadows of trees so big that cover your entire house, all full of bird nests and bee colonies? Trees are awesome, so it's no wonder why Fluttershy from My Little Pony loves them so much that she wishes for herself to become a tree.

But be careful, Fluttershy! Some of them might actually be Mirage Tanks from Red Alert 2 disguised into trees

But wait, there's more. This mod make my bigger cities greener than ever. There are now bigger trees in between of my skyscrapers and heavy factories, and even my plazas look more like small parklands. Who said you can't mix nature with technology? Of course you can. And you have too, because you need both of them to survive and prosper.

Which means I'm even closer to build cities like these:

@Raymond7cn: Believe it or not, one of the types of residential buildings in SimCity Societies are tree houses. This is probably the only SimCity game where your Sims can actually live on trees

Hey, Ray. I had already build a small city with a similar design.

The problem with this game is that even with the newest NAM you can't build a perfect circle because of the grid-based gameplay. It's not free-style like Cities: Skylines and SimCity 2013. But I'll try to build a city as circular as possible.

My dream is to build on SC4 the real EPCOT project, as Walt Disney had imagined, just to see if it would really work.  From the little I read, I couldn't believe that this city project was viable.   Of course, I would have to read a lot more about it and I already saw that there is a book specifically about it.
