Hello,
I decided to start a thread revolving around the lots I am creating and general stuff related to. Everyone is invited to jump in and get involved. I am still learning, as we all are. Join in and we can learn together. It could be fun, who knows!

To start off, I am going to be fixing an issue I found out I was still doing by mistake. After realizing I am not using a consistent folder structure for my uploads, I have come up with one that I will  be using from now on. I will start with using the new structure on my next few uploads that I am in the middle of, I will then go back and update the folder names and readme's in my older posts to match.

This is my new upload folder structure. All folder locations and lot folder names are as follow;
(Note: If an older download put the lot folders in a different location, place them according to the chart below)

Started a research facility reward for the power company to do their new experiments and tests. Not a whole lot of 'stuff' to add on this one. Most likely will be clean and neat looking beyond what I have made so far.

Sometimes things just don't feel right, then you look in the mirror and all is clear as day. Had that moment when I didn't like the way the research facility layout was going. So I mirrored almost every building and overlay texture. That's when everything felt just right. Now for the little details, like below, I am testing out some animated smoke for the first time. Cool stuff!

Maybe the lot seems a little stuffed...how about a safety zone (e.g. some yellow crossed out parking textures) and a walkway between the building and the high voltage substation.

You were completely right. I just could not convince myself of that, but it made sense and worked out better. Thanks!  Besides, I really like making a break area for those hard working sims. What do you think now? Still WIP but getting closer.

Started working on a electrical trade school. Here is what I have so far. Not sure if it will blend in with the urban scene. Might have to make one for the city also. IDK, we will see.

Some progress on the electrical trade school. Starting to take shape now. But lots of tweaking to do. 

Feel free to give any thoughts or ideas.

This is more like what I was picturing an hands-on electrical trade school would look like. It is now much closer to being finished.

I also started on a Highway Barrier Department lot. Here is what I have so far.

Guess what im missing? Some green on the Lot. In one or two Corners would be a place for it. Think about it,

Decided to convert the maxis large high school into an apartment building. This is what happened to the old central high school in my town. So I said why not and did it also, and here it is. One growable R$$ for 1258 sims. Coming soon.

Using a wonderful model from @20huskies, the LOL Factory, and making a commercial lot. The back halve is older factories converted for commercial use. Here is what I have so far.

Next in the works is a RV manufacturing lot. I really hope these busses can pass as RVs, as I think they do. What do you think, do they pass? Only using one dependence for all of the "RVs", that's not so bad. Thanks to Glenni-Buses PropsAnd it so happened I ran out of room for trees., maybe next time. LOL

This is what I did today, made my own style park based off a real one called Kids Kingdom. In RL it is a very large park with one huge wooden playground in a heavily wood lot. There is a public pool butted up to it, so I include that also. I saw this building and thought it would look great as a community building. Still need to figure out how the basketball players timing works, to go along with all the other maxis animations. Too bad the pool animations I found are at night only, it did not look right.

Decided to scrap the plans of a RV MFG for now and make the lot a bus manufacturing plant. Calling it Century Bus Manufacturing... Coming soon.

Made a Girafe tree version of Kids Kingdom. Both it and a Maxis version coming soon...

Since there are some wonderful and new bucket truck props from Simmer2, I thought I would repurpose them into tree trimming trucks(same thing). Here is a new company I am calling Trees Company. A little play on words from the TV sitcom Three's Company. Could not decide on lot size, so now you get two; 5x4 and 5x5. As a side business, they are a supplier of Sim Nation approved firewood, LOL.

Luck for me... Trees Company had some out of date permits, so there was a delay in staring construction. LOL
