Any thoughts or improvements? Thanks

Wow, that's looking great! :golly: I only have the impression that the lattice structure on the overpass and bridge pieces may be oversaturated. The rail overpass looks almost cell-shaded, and the bridge is overwhelmingly black. I'm also not sure whether the exterior valve wheel on that little square building is a good idea in terms of plant security. The pipelines themselves are marvelous, of course, and the possibilities they offer are truly mind-boggling. Another impressive set, and a certain success on the STEX! :thumb: You don't do any half-baked stuff, now, do you?

@DavidDHetzel: I really like that re-lot! It's very simple, but it does the trick and comes without any unrealistic details. Sticking to the regular Maxis base texture to improve compatibility with existing lots may be worth a thought, but of course that's merely a matter of preference.

Many re-lots have already been done in the early days before the BAT, so someone might say "Meh, it's all been done already, nothing new". However, I think that simple re-lots are making more and more sense because the custom props and textures we have these days offer so vastly superior opportunities. I've made many lots myself, and yet it never ceases to amaze me just how much the lot can contribute to the overall appearance of a building. Maxis models aren't all that bad, so there's lots of potential there.

@T Wrecks thanks!

It's a simple re-lot mostly because I have a hard time figuring out what props come from what prop packs

I know that I used Cycledog's textures and Props along with one of Heblem's Gas Station Prop packs. Thats about all I can remember :P

To use the same "Query Window" (unified cover) as PEG's lots, just open whichever lot shows the query you want and take a note of the property "Query Exemplar GUID". For example one such query used by the set is 0x073D45FE. But there may be other variants too, so it's best to look at existing lots and work out which IDs to use for a given lot.

In your second picture, where you use the CAL Wharves, I'd remove the wharf section at the bottom (between the corners) and replace it with a regular straight canal section. This will tidy up the lack of short transitions, not to mention, given the small turning radius, it would be hard for ships to dock there anyhow.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

I'll lobby about an idea first proposed on MGB's development thread: to mod a water-overhanging canal lock as a ferry terminal and CAN-AM station, thus allowing for water traffic to move easily between both environments. Maybe it could be more adequate to use a 3-role wide canal connection for that use, because is the minimum width useable with the CAN-AM.

here is all the newer props that I have compleated.

The Barn has two floors a loft and the the dirt ground. it also has 4 stalls and I added the small walk in concreate at the opening of the barn doors. I this version of the barn has no night lighting but I may do a second version to light up the inside and add a light on the front. left the barn doors open so you can see inside the barn...

Yo -- @DavidDHetzel

Are they still available ?

I know a lot of the really old PEG stuff has not made it to the STEX.

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !
