I'm just stopping by to show you a little progress and, above all, to ask you a question.
Although I think I know the answer, it's worth asking. You never know...

Is there a way to maintain cohesion between the texture of Jenx's sidewalk and that of the plaza, in this case, on all camera angles?

Thank you for your reply.

If I remember correctly, that happens when the height difference between the terrain and the seafloor is too small and the game tries to blend the textures. You could experiment a bit on an undeveloped corner of the city and see what happens by increasing the height difference.

The building in pic 1 is a subway station made by wolfze and a louis vuitton building made by Jenx (not sure if either of them are on the STEX). The building in pic 3 is this Starbucks:

Thanks for the Starbucks ! Wolfe disappeared from the STEX some time ago --I have most of his stuff, but find no rail station. Do you have a *specific name* for the file ?

While I'm setting up a new linux box I still had time to work on these. The top one will be used in a small farming community and the bottom will be a regular industrial. I'll probably put some type of machinery in the shed for visual interest.

It's just my impression or those two could perfectly double as a small rural train station and a medium-sized freight station?

Having tried in vain to build my walled city (I'll be sure to ask for your help in finding appropriate buildings), I've decided to make a few arrangements around it (Still under construction).

The main entrance to the walled town

And a painful step forward for terraforming

I love your work and the dedication you put on it with that much custom content you create for it. Regarding these old-town walled cities, it comes to my mind some work that was done by vortext (https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=15903.msg532412#msg532412 - it has a medieval setting, but some of these timber-framed houses made by JENXparis can help you), manga rivotra (https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?msg=538080) and badsim (https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=217.2420). Hope some of these can help you with inspiration!

I don't know if its me playing a bit too much of DayZ lately but yeah, specially that first building reminds me a lot of some rural train stations you find through the map

Really looking forward for a new CJ/pics showcase threads of you. AntigOne is one of my biggest CJ inspirations in this game, specially - but not only - for your superb MMP work

Badsim's work is impressive. You had already mentioned in this earlier post his CJ AntigOne, a CJ I never found. And that goes without saying, since I only searched Simtropolis. Checking SC4Devotion never occurred to me. Now I know where to look. I'm very grateful.
