While I'm still assembling a few new modular runway lots, here's house number 4 from the modern villa series. This one has double height living areas + a glass infinity edge pool:

The interior curved staircase is visible (day and night)

And, like the others, it also has an MMP/1x1 plop building family version:

Literally perfection *:thumb: I recently designed a coastal neighborhood for my region, but I haven't zoned anything yet, and was desperately looking for houses like this.

Did some more work on the South Gates suburb.

I really like the look, tried to be as realistic as possible. 1-3 entrances for subdivisions, diverse layouts and trying to make each neighborhood look different.

I love your work! Your networks and layouts look the part and they always shout Texas to me!!

Bet it puts some miles on the odometer, huh? So many bendy tertiary and secondary roads just to get to the arterial. Not a critique of you but of the real thing haha. I'm from NJ live NY so I have never lived in true suburbia like this before. I love a walk to the grocery store.

Does it feel... restrictive?

I've often wondered what it would look like to imagine a network of driving paths that are mildly inconvenient (Texas style) supplemented with very straight, easy, broad, and attractive walking and biking paths to encourage citizens to use better means of transport in order to get to work/school/shopping/etc.

Anyways, very cool re-creation shaping up and I'm sure it will feel like a time capsule one day as Texas urbanizes quickly through the next few years :)

Thanks you very much! Yeah at times it is restrictive, and the suburbs here can be a bit of a nightmare for traffic LOL. It's kind of ridiculous to see two lane roads backed up with traffic because of a bunch of neighborhoods being on that road when everyone just wants to get onto the main roads. I like to do quite a bit of walking where I live, and it takes me about an hour to get to the shops 2 and a half miles north of me. But on the plus side, the lack of a grid means there tends to be a lot of green space. Especially in newer areas as things are a lot more spaced out than the inner city.

The goal with my region though is for the outskirts to look like the above, but everything further inside the highway "loop" will be more grid-like.
