@Yarahi

Yo, guy --

Gurry Seawall NOT WORKING !!

I plopped the MML piece -- let the game time run for TWO months -- nothing!

I plopped the MML again -- let the game run for SIX months -- nothing!

I made sure it was connected to power and water -- nothing !!

How about if I simply REMOVE the "MML.dat" file from the plugins??

They should pop right up -- right?

  • Yes 1

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

Yes, if you exclude the MML.dat from your plugins they fill up the menu like any other lot set (seawalls, parks, retaining walls, etc) would

Edit: Since this is a custodian file, let's "ping" @Tyberius06 to investigate the MML file

Hell, yeah... just delete remove it :D :D
You might think, I'm joking, but actually I'm half serious. I wouldn't use MML, rather wheel through the whole menu 3 times.
I don't know how MMLs are working, I don't know how this Gurry seawall MML is working, I never used it myself. It is possible that it's badly modded or it has some other bug in that feature, but I won't be able to investigate that, because I have no knowladge how these things are working(still don't have knowladge about it, but managed to fix it, I think. Check the EDIT part.).I used to use MML for some JRJ walls, but it made me crying that I wasn't able to plop them constantly, since the MML has the limitation, that you actually need to go back to the menu once you picked and plopped an item and need to pick it again and again and again. So when I realized this behaviour I stopped using them.
If you want to use MML anyway I would recommend you to use the "you don't deserve it" cheat (CTRL X). It should make those pieces available after you typed the cheat, you don't even need to plop the MML lot. The only 2 cons, that the new pieces in the menu won't disappear until you are in the city. But if you stopped using the pieces, just save it, and go to region view and then re-enter to the city and in the menu only the MML lot will be there. The other disadvanteges, that the cheat will unlock all the other MMLs and locked rewards and everything.
If someone with more knowladge about MMLs wants to investigate why it is not working properly, then go for it. See below edit.

- Tyberius

EDIT: Ok, I looked into it and used one of the BSC properly working MMLs to check, what could be the problem and managed to fix it. Please, @Dreadnought, test the following file. (the solution was to editing the LUA script, there was some missmatching IIDs in it. Plus a bunch of unrecognizable characters.)

@Tyberius06 Haha. Yeah, I had the same experience as you when I first tried getting used to MML's. However the basic understanding of how they're supposed to work still sticks

@Dreadnought I tested the fix by @Tyberius06 and I can confirm that it works according to what was described earlier. :thumb:

Yo --

@Tyberius06 and @Yarahi

Thanx much guys -- that did the trick -- *:thumb:

Unfortunately, after plopping enough shoreline to get a good look at the seawalls -- I don't think I'll use them.  (Looking for something to use for my new Military Dockyard Project.)

But that's OK -- I've rejected just about all of the seawall sets.  *  I may go into EDITOR and tinker with the JS set.

THANX, again --

As much as I try I get ugly results.

You might try @mattb325 -- He is the "Maestro" of night lights !

Adding about 40 Euro gas canopies to my prop pack. Not going to use them for anything but they are nice to have.

I'll definitely find some use for euro canopies like this - already used a few of yours and having euro ones will be just perfect :thumb: Thanks !

@Vitoraju Nice model! We are missing more of these mid rise LATAM buildings.

As for suggestions:

I think the textures are still missing something, I would brighten the white a bit more and add some noise or even a little grunge (the red looks fine now). Comparing the walls to the roof, they appear almost as having no texture.

Also, even though you are using MR render, I'd add a gradient to the walls and maybe darken the roof borders. Jasoncw mentions it should not be necesary, but honestly, I don't see it here; it looks flat and in PS the values are virtually the same top and bottom. Maybe for taller buildings this is true, but even then, I feel a slight gradient gives it a more interesting look. Besides Ray tracing, lower parts of buildings tend to be dirtier and darker as a consecuence.

Thank you Dgmc,:} Frankly I found that the No.5 has a flaw, I forgot to make custom Lods, therefore the Props under it will be invisible, I will fix it as soon as possible, Sorry!

Sincerely,

I think I should improve the color of the snow texture..

I want to clarify that the only thing I did is the textures of the terrain, the mmp's are not mine.

Yo --

Maybe just a tad whiter -- and a light touch of smoothing.  Snow doesn't really look that lumpy.  It has the pleasing quality of laying a soft blanket of white over all the bumps and potholes !  But it looks promising ! *:thumb:
