About This File

Ouellette Electronics focuses on the design and manufacture of cutting edge electronics, with its dedicated staff developing some of the world's most advanced products.  At Ouellette Electronics, even the janitorial staff have PhDs.

This large, dense, and urban industrial building begins to provide an alternative to Maxises I-HT districts, which are sprawling, provide few jobs, and are visually unattractive.  Ouellette Electronics provides nearly twice as many jobs as the largest Maxis I-HT lot.

An I-HT (High Tech Industrial/I§
§§) growable and ploppable are included.   There is an extra set of lots which have double the number of jobs as the normal version (marked as "X2").  These are for use with industry multiplier modds, though any of these lots may be used in any games, and without any conflicts.

More information can be found below.

Awesome work on this one, Jason. I think your first foray into industrial BAT's is a great success. Thanks for making this beauty a I-HT, too!

Jason, this is stunning. Great model and textures, absolutely beautiful lighting, and a top-notch lot. This is certainly one of the best industrial BATS available on the STEX!

Veyr very nice. It seems a little sub-urban and I think it could use more buildings to add to the theme.

*Gasp* I remember this!!! Really an outstanding turn out, it is both a eye pleasing filler building and a beautiful centerpiece.

oh! this is a beauty!!! the only tiny "complaint" I would have with it is the shadows from the light interior. Those are sharp and defined, like cast by a single powerful and point light source, rather then the large area one as it is a case... None the less it is a marvel to look at!

The crates look kindof funny. They look like they're in a parking lot and my first thought was that you were missing a dependency and the cars were showing up as brown boxes. I think that part could be improved - perhaps stacking several boxes on top of one another, or otherwise making it look like it's not a parking lot. Otherwise - superb! p.s. are those weighted companion cubes? Nice touch.

^ trism, the boxes are on the cargo area, not in a parking lot xD

I know it's a cargo area. I'm saying that the cargo area LOOKS like a parking lot. I think that it could be improved to appear more like cargo. (I still ranked it a 5/5 because it's extremely good otherwise.)
