So, you just have to plop a bus depot to see these buses ride in your city. Actually this mod is just a minor retexturing of VDL bus uploaded by Oppie.     Sometimes we would like to have a sizable area that is not criss-crossed by uniform streets and roads... but we can't because in most cases we then lack road-access for the lots. This set offers a bag-of-tricks to get around that, so you can make apparently un-connected open spaces - useful for industrial compounds, warehouse districts, waterfronts, large parking areas and more. LIST OF ITEMS * 3 transit-enabled Extenders (straight, cross, Tee) * 2 transit-enabled gates * 3 perimeter fence sections (1x, 3x, curve) * 2 under-bridge extenders (left, right) DEPENDENCIES * Murimk Prop Pack Vol03 - Industrials * Grunge Concrete Set * PEG Security Fencing Kit * SHK Parking Pack * SPOT (Orientation Helpers, optional) DEVELOPER NOTES See a demo on how to use the TE extenders here! The lots are mostly neutral and cheap to plop. The apparent lack of props and lotted items is on purpose - players are supposed to have most possible freedom in designing their own scenes using IND lots, fillers and MMPs (i.e. Murimk Prop Pack Vol03, GridBusters and similar items). That should help building dedicated IND areas... Be creative ;-) You can get additional visual interest by using different streetside mods and SAM streets (the core set also works as an effective 'SAM Stopper')... A bit challenging at times, but well worth the effort. You find all items at or near the end of the 'Transit | Misc' menu with custom icons. INSTALLATION Unzip the whole bundle into "(My )Documents/Plugins". To uninstall, bulldoze any instance of this lot in your city, then remove the file(s) from your Plugins.     This is main railway station i made for my city based on Berlin Hauptbahnhoff, it works as elevated heavy rail and subway station, sits on 14x8 transit enabled lot. - BSC MEGA Props - CP Vol01 - latest Network Addon Mod - BSC Textures 1 THIS IS NEW VERSION OF STATION, MODDED BY Z1. He put a lot of effort to tweak all the details that I couldn't figure myself: The transit switch point was replaced with the NAM standard transit switch point for this type of station. This change took only a few seconds, requiring a simple copy and paste operation, but it results in the biggest change to the station. There should be at least several times as many Sims using this station now, if not more, depending on your city. The station now has the capability of acting as a true transportation hub for your city. According to NAM standards, a station this size would undoubtedly be connected to one or more bus lines, so I added bus service. Previously, no paths were included for the trains in the station. This means that automata and UDI would not work properly within this station, since all stations connected to puzzle-piece networks require internal paths. This has been fixed. Previously, freight trains could not pass through this station. This has been fixed, although only passengers can get on and off trains, since this is not a freight station. A station this size will have people arriving and departing by taxi, so I added a taxi generator. The information for the menu tooltip had never been filled in, so the station wasn't even properly identified in the menu. This has been fixed, and a small amount of info about the station has been included. The menu icon was replaced by the one that PIM-X generates, which is much more distinctive. The station was moved from the Misc Transit menu to the Rail menu, since it is primarily a rail station. One of the implications of the new transit switches is that a subway line will work equally well regardless of where it passes under the lot. You don't need to connect up to the subway square, or even have the line pass under the main building. As the station is primarily a rail station, and subway access is secondary, the game no longer enters the Subway Building View when you select the station from the menu. All of this comes at a cost, of course. The previous plop cost of this station was §100 - the same as a single-tile Maxis bus stop. Using PIM-X, the new plop cost is calculated to be §8700 for a station and lot covering 112 tiles. Bulldoze cost went from §100 to §834. And the monthly cost went from §20 to §480. (For reference, the monthly cost of the far smaller Maxis Grand Rail Station is §300.) Jobs were distributed more realistically by PIM-X. Old: R$: 95, R$$: 5, R$$$: 0. New: R$: 69, R$$: 33, R$$$: 6. The original building emitted no pollution of any kind. Now, at the center, air pollution is 38, water pollution is 19, and garbage output is 76. The radii for these pollution types is 1, 2, and 0, respectively. The building emits no radiation. Power consumption is unchanged at 61. However, the previous building consumed no water; the water consumption of the new building is 77. The transit switch entry cost was changed from zero, which allowed everything to pass through the station at infinite speed, to .0069, which is the standard passenger train speed. The station capacity was raised from 100,000 to 240,000. A lot more Sims are going to be using this station. edit 22.12.2019: updated dependency link by Tyberius

    One of the Warsaw's railway halt stations designed by the architects A. Romanowicz and P. Szymaniak. The station was opened in 1963. Its most notable features are the wide usage of the concrete shell roofs and the place where it has been located - right next to the Vistula river escarpment and entrance to the railway tunnel below the downtown. The add-on consists of four pieces to make it more universal: 1. Platforms – work as railway station (capacity: 15000 passengers) 2. Upper Pavilion - the function and capacity same like above 3. Lower Pavilion – works as bus stop (capacity: 5000 passengers) 4. Lower Pavilion in alternative version (w/o neon) - the function and capacity of the above (Also see the pics below) Dependencies: This add-on doesn’t require any other plug-ins to work(!), however to properly model the terrain, it is recommended to use the Hold Diggers and Raisers included with the NAM.     Here is a fictional station called Churchway Station, based on stations found on the sub surface lines of the London Underground eg the Circle & Metropolitan Lines, where track occasionally sees sunlight as it passes through London. If it were to exist in real life it would have opened in 1876 and would be situated on the long stretch of track between Euston Square and Kings Cross St Pancras stations, with the building leading out onto the road Churchway, Camden. The station obviously behaves as a subway station ingame, and has no dependencies. Its costs 1000 to build and 50 per month to run, with a capacity of 8000, using 100 units of electricity and 20 units of water. Enjoy!

    CTA's Ashland/Lake station was built along with the rest of the Lake Street Elevated in 1892. It was designed by an unknown architect in the Queen Anne style, with elements of Victorian Gothic. Back in 1892, this station was identical to several other stations on the same line. Today, there are only two of these beautiful designs remaining. The stationhouses at Ashland remain intact, but the platforms have been extended and shortened many times over the station's century-long history. The platforms in this model are roughly as they appeared in the 1940s. The lot is only 1x3, with overhanging platforms, but it is meant to be linked with the NAM's Elevated-Railroad-Over-Road puzzle pieces, where those puzzle pieces cross a perpendicular road. (see the pictures, it will make sense then). Note: UDI does not work through this station, either on the roads or on the tracks, unless you drag roads through the lot after plopping it.     This 10-story parking garage was designed to provide parking for downtown areas of office buildings, as well as suburban office and retail developments. Operated by K. Nave Parking Corp, it guarantees safety for all vehicles stored within, and boasts clean, well-lit, safe parking decks and elevators. The lot comes in two flavors, both of which use the same building; the first is a 6x6 medium-wealth version, the size of a city block, for use in downtown and inner-city areas. This lot was a tad gritty, so it has some trees around it to add to the beauty and green-ness of the city streets. The second is a larger high-wealth version (7x7). The garage doesn't get any larger, but a small tasteful plaza is added to the front with some benches and tables. This draws people to the area and provide an enjoyable pedestrian experience to encourage lots of walking after the car is parked.     This is the next official BAT release from RJM Designs. RJM Intermodal Shipping Depot (Simdaq: ISD) is a full service rail freight station empowering your region's industrial sector. Whether you need to ship thinga-mabobs or doohickey bob-jiggers, the ISD will help you move your SimNation into the future. The ISD is Transit enabled, both for passenger / freight rail to the rear of the lot and the entrance on the front side of the lot. The ISD has two unique firsts for RJM Designs. This is the first of many BATs that we have added a custom query sound to our custom UI. Also, at different times of the day not only will there be different containers seemingly going in and out of the depot but there will also be containers showing up just on the crane, just on the dock, on both and on neither.
