Description: While boardwalks, coastlines, and other resort towns feature many of the brand name hotels we may recognize, there are always the quirky ones that stand out for one reason or another. Some cater to the local upper crust, some are smaller inns founded by an owner who wanted an excuse to move a tropical island, and others will allow you to meet an actual shark, provided you sign their waiver to hold them harmless, of course. Sharks' Bight Hotel is a fictional resort hotel and its fictional social media presence can be summed up in its #bightme campaign to recruit more Bight Club members. Comes with one ploppable and one growable lot. Stats: Plop Cost (bulldoze): 11000(100) Lot Size: 4x3 Jobs: 397 Growth stage: 8 Wealth: Medium Power: 44 Water: 44 Pollution: 5/6/15/0 @ 1/1/0/0 Dependencies: The amount of liability Sharks' Bight Hotel will assume in its waiver for you to meet an actual shark, their cuddly great white mascot named Jacques. I think that's what it was. -
I will be starting a series of resort hotels (or at least attempting). The purpose of this thread is to share ideas about not only different resorts but the types of amenities or styles within and anything in between. And of course gamers are welcome to share their scenes!

The new boardwalk in downtown Prowersville, has been attracting citizens from all over the city. A lot of tourists have been drawn to this location as well, especially to swim in Sparkle's warm tropical waters,. The rich primarily turn their attention to the marina in the west, as you can catch a yacht ride to other islands, or even take one to purchase your own private vacation island. At night, the beach thrives with adult furry entertainment, and the boardwalk has a nightly Fur Con on its food court. The lights at night are often reported to be illuminating, especially at midnight, and can attract a lot of residents 21 or older. Once morning arrives, the children are allowed again, and swimming can resume as normal at 11AM. Hotels are planed to replace some abandoned coastal homes, to put tourists closer to the beach area. -

The Boardwalks: props by Murimk & DocRorlach; lotted by DocRorlach Included are three sets of boardwalks: two are strictly texture-based and thus lie flat on the terrain (and are therefore slope-tolerant), while the main one is based on Murimk's boat pier props, making this set a total of 30 lots. Props will show up during plopping, hence there should be no problem with orienting the lots. Murimk's Boardwalk has a transparent base making it easy to paint ploppable water below it. The other boardwalks need to be painted more carefully: we suggest using 1/4 brushes. Best "water" for these lots is Tahoe, by Pegasus, and available on the STEX. Lot Details and Information can be found in the readme. Read it. To ensure the proper functionality, make sure the files mentioned below are installed in the plugins folder. WMP Dependencies: WMP Mega Props vol. 01 - Misc General Props and for the SC4D LEX Link WMP Mega Props vol. 02 - Misc Industrial Props and for the SC4D LEX Link WMP Essentials v1.01 or above and for the SC4D LEX Link. It is ESSENTIAL you to have this if you want to avoid annoying BROWN BOXes. WMP Mega Textures v1.02 and for the SC4D LEX Link External Dependencies: Murimk Waterfront Pack 3 - Rural Marina Murimk - Props Vol02 - Mixed Props SFBT Essentials Installation: Unzip the whole bundle, or COPY the "WMP" folder from the *.zip into your plugin folder. You don't need to keep the "_Documents" folder. To uninstall, bulldoze any instance of this lot in your city, then remove the file(s) from your Plugins. For further details, please read the provided readme AND IF you still have questions, ask @Tyberius06. Credits: Original Creditings: Thanks to everyone around the Pegasus site & teams; SFBT (especially Andreas); Murimk for the props, and everyone else for their ideas. Additional Credits: DocRorlach and the WMP team and his associates for creating the models, props and the original lots. David (djp) for keeping the original site alive so many years, and letting us rehosting the files on the exchanges Tyberius06 (STEX Custodian) and xxdita for the restoration/rehosting of these contents. Support: These WMP/DocRorlach creations are now legacy contents and therefore their support is very limited, however support from the wider community can be requested here on SC4 Devotion or in the STEX Custodian General Support Topic. Best include a screen-shot illustrating the problem. (These very same lots can be/will be found on the LEX too, look for the WMP contents.)- 21 Comments

This RCI Boardwalk Corner Lots will allow you to wrap the OWW2 Boardwalks around corners while still leaving the adjacent/inland tiles open for RCI development or other ploppable lots. In all regards, properties, costs, etc... are the same as the other 2x2 RCI Boardwalk lots. This package contains 2 lots; an inner corner lot and an outer corner lot. Both lots are 2x2 tiles in size The RCI Boardwalks are actually water lots that are designed to extend in & over the sloped coastal tile & merge seamlessly with OWW2 lots on either side. This particular method does not allow the use of any props on the lot. Therefore, everything on the lot is rendered as part of the building model. The models are nite-lited... with lighting designed to match the lamp post & lite-tree props commonly used on OWW2 lots. ** This lot requires the PEG-OWW2 Resource Pack 1 All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.
