Yo, Abrams -- I looked at a couple of the "city journal" entries just to see what other people were doing, and I'm a bit perplexed. There don't seem to be any rules, requirements, or guidelines for the thread -- and no particular format for posting in that category. Am I missing a "CJ Moderator's Note" somewhere? Or -- is this a....."it's your imagination -- roll with it!"......kind of thread?? Yep!If you want to have flashy fluffy things in your cj you can do it!Or you want to have some a "grey sim life"?You can do that too!Everything you imagine! Of course there are rules that i think you know,that you shouldn't show a holocaust or like that Yo, Abrams -- Thanx for the speedy reply! Well, it's nice to know that I won't be violating any sort of protocols on the thread. AND -- of course, you are right -- everything must be strictly "in good taste". As the English would say -- "One must always observe the rules of proper society, old boy". I think I will absolutely open a thread in "CJ" in the next couple of days. I want to make sure all my "ducks are in a row" before I jump into it. I've got to find a new photo host before I start up. I used "ImageVenue" some years back, but as "rsc204" pointed out, their pop-up ads have gone to the dark side since those days -- no longer suitable for the younger members on this site. Any recommendations? You should use imgur,it's great,ad-free and i use it too

Even my own project thread goes quiet every once in a while even after a new update is posted. Yo, airman -- I've been thinking about a "city journal" -- the thought kind of appeals to me. But I've been putting it off because I'm afraid it might take a lot of work to keep the thing interesting. OR -- I could simply be taking the idea too seriously and need to dive in and see if it swims. For the start of the city journal you don't need very advanced things.My first CJ entry was 3 pictures and description for it that's all so it shouldn't be too time consuming.

Listen to Michael he's right theese 4 points will make your city beautifull,also don't go skyscraper sea,unless you can control it and make it nice(My suggestion is that the CBD should have a mix of skyscrapers,smaller shops,some parks but mostly skyscrapers.)Anyways there are some nice maxis buildings, which you can use but of course High qualtiy BATs take the cake.Another thing is learn how to use RHW+Other NAM options effectively,It'll make your city much better,because if you have less congestion,your city is already better(You know congestion can make buildings abandoned which is very ugly)Well this is all i want to say,But if you need further help feel free to PM me

So i've been playing with diagonals and a weird ugly graphic error came up i've tried some graphic settings but still doesn't work.Software rendering wouldn't work as i have HD mods. Any solutions? Thanks in advance -
