Recent I've been developing a fascination for retail history and historical retail branding, so I thought I'd create a thread where we could all post our favorite retail stores and brands that no loner exist. now keep the posting of stores to one a day, but feel free to make unlimited comments MILLER & RHOADES Miller and Rhoades was a Department Store that had its roots in Richmond,VA's bustling Broad Street, eventually the company had struck out to several other major cities in the area (Such as Raleigh, Lynchburg, Roanoke), unfortunately by time the 80s hit the company was struggling and was eventually bought out by the May company and several stores were rebranded as Hecht's Feel free to post what you want about dead and dying retail!

I'm getting rather annoyed by the game taking 5+ minutes to load and I sware I can remember there was a way to fix this, I think was some sort of program BSC made called "datpacker". But I am not 100% sure. Does anyone know how I can improve game loading speeds? I don't want to wait over 10 minutes to load my city anymore.

You should upload it, it's a straight re-lot so it will retain all the info of the original BAT, even if you do have trouble with the reader, feel free to ask someone to help you out or look at a guide. I had issues with the reader working on my end, but Kingofsimcity was nice enough to help me out.

Idea: Put the usual timed props on 2/3rds of the parking, but all the cars in front of the Enterprise should be untimed so it look like they have a bunch of cars ready for rental.

Very nicely done, there's tons of similar type buildings out in the northeast US!

It's ok, but try making the darker bits less dark.

I like them, except for the roof textures on the bottom two. I think personally you should use the roof texture from the Belk on all of them.

I like, the first one. But the other ones feel like there's an obvious clash of styles between the architecture that doesn't blend well, for one lot. .
