Check this and maybe other content from the same creator d_j_p1. If you are interested in transit enabled stuff on the whole, you may wish to search "transit enabled" (use search tool), there's a lot.

Besides the mentioned almost monochrome palette, it also bothers me in this pic that there are avenues everywhere - for no apparent reason. There's jst two 14-storey apartment buildings filling the width of the block, and yet there's another avenue between those and the other block. Weird.

The green building - must be this one:

Daily Mail Interview: Ocean Quigley: "We needed to reinvent SimCity."
fiver commented on Hellken's article in News
"Being such a classic, how have you managed to evolve the game without annoying the hardcore fans?" -- That question is put in a way as if they indeed have managed that, while in fact they have done totally the opposite. The multiplayer and "cool disasters" are what the hardcore fans care the least, while the always online restriction and considerably lowered player abilities to control the game are turning the core fans away. I have no doubt he is a talented man. It's just... from his interview I've got a feeling that his ideal SimCity is something not quite the same as what the core fans are valuing the "CS4+custom content" game for: as Hellken put it, "Sim City 4 gave people FULL control of the space in the game", while the rebooted game is taking that control away - which seems like something opposite of the evolution he [Ocean] talks about. -
I like Jeronij's mod, but I also use some other street tree mods too. Check this mod , though it's for MAVE-4 while there's MAVE-6 in your picture. Maybe someone has made a similar mod for MAVE-6 already, let us know if you find out, please. You may wish to check other mods by Jackxu and 958517907. I don't know about the el-rail bridge (maybe that one appears automatically when you drag el-rail over MAVE-6?). As for the el-rail station, this one looks close imo (it's there, scroll down to the middle of the page):

I believe everybody loves your trees, I'm just one of them. Tons of thanks to you! The great quality of creations like yours makes the new CimCity2013 so totally unimportant imo. Could you "re-create" the beautiful trees that Orange once made but then they were somehow lost or something - Punus Nigra and Cupressus (both pictured there http://sc4devotion.c...?topic=6442.280)?

Ihrob is right. But anyway, Supernova07 also asked for a good avenue roundabout fillers, so he can get both - the column and the roundabout as one thing :-)

@Supernova07: the column (search "column") Do you know how to use the Advanced Search (gear icon at top right)? The tennis court: (search "tennis") The bus stop resembles this except for the shed (search "bus stop") Search results for "roundabout": (sorry the link to search results doesn't work, dunno why) Try these

Regarding that Xannepan's rue de Rivoli building, it's the missing prop of Jeanne d'Arc statue that causes the brown box. The creator admitted he forgot to include it but he said he didn't know when he'd have time to fix that (he's been busy with other projects). http://sc4devotion.c...hp?lotGET=2660 (check the comments)

SimCity Game Intro Trailer
fiver replied to RyanMorgan95's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
What "will be" is another thing, imo. As for this particular 1.21-minute video, I have watched it a few times at its normal speed and couldn't catch any "mild violence". Maybe, if I slow it down many many times and somehow zoom in, I will notice something very naughty and terrible, I don't know. -
With all due respect to those who get more and more enthusiastic, I don't find these new pictures more attractive than what I have seen earlier. First of all, I can't help thinking that what I see is practically the whole size of the "city" and there won't be much more. That space - not much more than there Here's the view from across the river - I've built a bridge over here, but haven't zoned anything yet. #simcity pic.twitter.com/JSXyy2id — Ocean Quigley (@oceanquigley) January 10, 2013 - will gradually be filled with high-rises, and that's all. Then the roads - such solemn roads everywhere, but the buildings look like they'd perfectly live long with smaller and more modest streets. The streets/roads/etc variety of SC4+ makes the new game's stuff look so poor. The shore line looks absolutely not better than SC4 or even SC3000 (and if the new game gives me no better, then why?). And again, it all looks better only at dusk or at night, but at daytime it's so dollhouse :-S

"...we value fun failure as much as successful advancement." -- fun failure, I knew it! -- the pre-/elementary school terminology she uses clearly indicates the target ages for the new game. That's why the dollhouse look and all the other BS.

Most sincere congratulations to the winners

I agree - this intro loudly calls for being skipped, even louder than all the previous intros put together. And now we see the new game looks ok only in the dark.
-
Thank you for the great news and demonstration of the NAM's coming new fetures! This, together with the recent Aurora mod on LEX, proves how alive SC4 is and how much it still can offer - thanks to the incredible talents of the modders. Thumbs up!

PC Gaming is Not Dead – A Conversation With Maxis Producer Jason Haber
fiver commented on Dirktator's article in News
They probably can't go to bed until repeat 1000 times that what they do to Sim City is the only way to stay relevant with the new age gamer... And they end up believing that. -
SimCity Game Intro Trailer
fiver replied to RyanMorgan95's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
The video is rated 10+ "Mild Violence" (!), while this "doll town" is exactly for children of 7 to 10. After all the recent screenshots posted here, I would expect the intro to look better. But no, the town still looks like the 'not final software' inscription is likely to pop up. It will be the first Sim City which looks ok only in the dark. -
