INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD Goobergen Labs by SimGoober 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW Last time we had the famous Fukitol capsules by GooberGen, this time we take a step back - into the labs where GooberGen does its research. The eighth upload in this series is GooberGen Labs by SimGoober. Since the fish tanks and the company sign are separate props, I could play around with different configurations and ended up making two versions with two lots each; one with two fish tank clusters and one with four fish tank clusters. I'm pretty pleased with the result if I may say so myself - the modular layout allowed for some nice configuration options, and I particularly enjoyed making the footpaths that connect to the fish tanks and being able to place a lot of shaded props around the tall building. Since all Maxis lots contained in the IRM Base Pack could optionally be used with toroca's Industrial Jobs Quadrupler, this download is offered in two versions: a regular one for those who prefer the default job numbers, and a quadrupler-compatible version for those who prefer using the modified stats. The .sc4desc files for the regular version will look like this: IRM_[Filename].sc4desc The .sc4desc files for the quadrupler version will look like this: IRM_[Filename]_x4.sc4desc After downloading, simply delete the file of the version you don't want to use. If you leave both in your plugins, the quadrupler version will most probably override the default version. The default version of the building will provide: GooberGen Labs 1: 90 I-HT jobs, the quadrupler version 360 I-HT jobs. GooberGen Labs 2: 100 I-HT jobs, the quadrupler version 400 I-HT jobs. The following lots are included in this download: 5x6, Stage 3 (GooberGen Labs 1) 6x5, Stage 3 (GooberGen Labs 1) 6x6, Stage 3 (2 variations) (GooberGen labs 2) For those of you who like to play with day and night view, the building used on this lot is compatible with the following night light mode(s): Maxis Night with gradual day/night cycle: YES Maxis Night with static day or night: YES DarkNite* with static day or night: YES *DarkNite requires SimFox' Day and Nite Modd (or a similar darkening mod) to be installed in your plugins. 2 - USE If you extract this archive to your root plugins folder, it should create a folder IRM\IRM Expansion\[NAME OF BAT], where [NAME OF BAT] represents the name of this download item. Within that folder, you will find all the game-relevant files and a sub-folder containing the HTML readme and some screenshot(s). If you no longer wish to use this download, proceed as follows: Bulldoze all lots pertaining to this download Save all the cities and exit the game when you're done bulldozing Remove the associated files from your plugins folder Hint: Just to be sure, I recommend moving the undesired files somewhere else and doing some checks before you delete them permanently. This way, if it turns out you forgot to bulldoze something, you can add it back in temporarily until you're done. 3 - DEPENDENCIES IRM Base Pack with all its dependencies - while these lots will technically work, they are meant to tie into the IRM. They may look out of place and show unexpected behaviour if used independently. Since this is an extension to the IRM, all the dependencies of the original pack still apply. If you have them in place, you can download every single growable IRM and IRM W2W lot I have ever made and will never have to download any additional packs for props and textures used on the lot. GooberGen Labs - you'll also need the original upload of the BAT to see the building(s). Only the .sc4model file is required. NOTE: For any dependency hosted at SC4Devotion (SC4D in short), you must be registered on that site and logged into the site's download area, the BSC File Exchange, in order to see the download button. Please bear in mind that there are separate logins for the forums and for the file exchange. INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD Goobergen Pharmaceuticals by SimGoober 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW High-tech industry in SimCity would be unthinkable without companies like GooberGen, inventors of the tried and tested Fukitol capsules. So here we go again: The seventh upload in this series is another old classic, GooberGen Pharmaceuticals by SimGoober. This time around, we have a driveway to the backyard next to the entrance and, in the case of the wider lot, another open area to the right of the building, both with some employee cars parked in parallel. The left edge and the back left corner are lined with trees that form a visual border to whatever is beyond the lot, whereas the right side is relatively open. A really simple lot once again, but I'm still halfways pleased. The default version of the building will provide 45 I-HT jobs, the quadrupler version 180 I-HT jobs. The following lots are included in this download: 4x5, Stage 2 5x4, Stage 2 For those of you who like to play with day and night view, the building used on this lot is compatible with the following night light mode(s): Maxis Night with gradual day/night cycle: YES Maxis Night with static day or night: YES DarkNite* with static day or night: YES *DarkNite requires SimFox' Day and Nite Modd (or a similar darkening mod) to be installed in your plugins. 2 - USE If you extract this archive to your root plugins folder, it should create a folder IRM\IRM Expansion\[NAME OF BAT], where [NAME OF BAT] represents the name of this download item. INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD Semi-Intelligent Components by GreatDane 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW The IRM high-tech uploads continue... The fourth upload in this series is another very old BAT and probably not the most famous (and certainly not the best) work done by this author, yet still too good to leave out - it's: Semi-Intelligent Components by prepo. There's not much to be said about the lots this time, other than that they're probably not my best work, either. I still hope they'll do. The default version of the building will provide 26 I-HT jobs, the quadrupler version 104 I-HT jobs. The following lots are included in this download: 2x4, Stage 1 3x3, Stage 1 For those of you who like to play with day and night view, the building used on this lot is compatible with the following night light mode(s): Maxis Night with gradual day/night cycle: YES Maxis Night with static day or night: YES DarkNite* with static day or night: YES *DarkNite requires SimFox' Day and Nite Modd (or a similar darkening mod) to be installed in your plugins. 2 - USE If you extract this archive to your root plugins folder, it should create a folder IRM\IRM Expansion\[NAME OF BAT], where [NAME OF BAT] represents the name of this download item. INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD SkyLimit Satellite Research by GreatDane 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW OK, time for more IRM stuff. I'm still doing high-tech industry, and from there will work my way "down the ranks", through modern manufacturing and generic manufacturing back to brick factories with old-style manufacturing and, finally, dirty industry. The third upload in this series is a somewhat obscure BAT, I guess - it's 13 years old, and the author is by no means as well known as the likes of SimGoober and others. However, I still think it's one of those underestimated little BATs that withstood the test of time comparably well: SkyLimit Satellite Research by GreatDane. The lot is pretty simple and straight forward; I merely tried to align the building with the lot textures (which worked quite well), added one of gascooker's smokestacks to break the blocky appearance a bit, and made rather extensive use of CycleDogg's excellent shaded props.. INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD SFBT H2O Chemistry by Mathe Man 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW It took me a while until I found the time and energy to resume uploading, but here we go with more IRM stuff. I'm still doing high-tech industry, and from there will work my way "down the ranks", through modern manufacturing and generic manufacturing back to brick factories with old-style manufacturing and, finally, dirty industry. The second upload in this series is another small and rather old BAT, but yet again quite unique: SFBT's H2O Chemistry modeled by Mathe Man. You might already have noticed that the building resembles the model of a water (H2O) molecule in shape and colour. If you look closely, there's even a little corporate sculpture in the same shape in front of the main entrance. If you leave both in your plugins, the quadrupler version will most probably override the default version. The default version of the building will provide 24 I-HT jobs, the quadrupler version 96 I-HT jobs. The following lots are included in this download: 3x3, Stage 1 4x3, Stage 1 For those of you who like to play with day and night view, the building used on this lot is compatible with the following night light mode(s): Maxis Night with gradual day/night cycle: YES Maxis Night with static day or night: YES DarkNite* with static day or night: YES *DarkNite requires SimFox' Day and Nite Modd (or a similar darkening mod) to be installed in your plugins. 2 - USE If you extract this archive to your root plugins folder, it should create a folder IRM\IRM Expansion\[NAME OF BAT], where [NAME OF BAT] represents the name of this download item. SFBT H2O Chemie von Mathe Man - you'll also need the original upload of the BAT to see the building(s). The following files are required: - OM_H2OChemie-0x5ad0e817_0x7260ee3a_0x31000.SC4Model (that's the main building) - OM_H2OChemieLogo-0x5ad0e817_0x5289aa3d_0x30000.SC4Model (that's the model for the little sculpture) - OM_H2OChemieLogo-0x6534284a-0xed2eee45-0x0eec2d83.SC4Desc (that's the descriptor for the little sculpture) Any .sc4lot files can be removed. INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD SFBT High Enthalpy Wind Tunnel by Mathe Man 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW After wall-to-wall (W2W) industry has been catered for, it's time to take care of regular industry. This time around, I'll begin with high-tech industry, and from there will work my way "down the ranks", through modern manufacturing and generic manufacturing back to brick factories with old-style manufacturing and, finally, dirty industry. With this series (it will be long!) I hope to bring some more variety to your industrial areas, and I hope I can also drag some old and not so common BATs back into the spotlight this way. For this first upload, I have picked a small and rather old BAT, but a pretty unique one: SFBT's High Enthalpy Wind Tunnel modeled by Mathe Man. Although small, I think the building is nice because you can get a glimpse of what's inside, and it's rather unusual in shape as well. The default version of the building will provide 20 I-HT jobs, the quadrupler version 80 I-HT jobs. The following lots are included in this download: 3x3, Stage 1 4x2, Stage 1 For those of you who like to play with day and night view, the building used on this lot is compatible with the following night light mode(s): Maxis Night with gradual day/night cycle: YES Maxis Night with static day or night: YES DarkNite* with static day or night: YES *DarkNite requires SimFox' Day and Nite Modd (or a similar darkening mod) to be installed in your plugins. 2 - USE If you extract this archive to your root plugins folder, it should create a folder IRM\IRM Expansion\[NAME OF BAT], where [NAME OF BAT] represents the name of this download item. SFBT Hochenthalpie-Windkanal von Mathe Man - you'll also need the original upload of the BAT to see the building(s). Only the .sc4model file is required. Any .sc4desc and .sc4lot files can be removed. NOTE: For any dependency hosted at SC4Devotion (SC4D in short), you must be registered on that site and logged into the site's download area, the BSC File Exchange, in order to see the download button. Please bear in mind that there are separate logins for the forums and for the file exchange. For those of you who may still be unfamiliar with the site: SC4D is another major SimCity community with lots of unique content, so you will not regret making an account there. 7. Kane Tiberium

    Version 1.0.0

    940 Downloads

Kane Tiberium, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- As part of providing some much needed, long overdue upgrades to some of the Maxis I-HT stalwarts, I decided that Kane Tiberium deserved a new 're-imaging' for the 21st Century. After all, the in-game dumpy little structure has been filling up any I-HT zone for almost 15 years, so it is probably due for some extra space. Given the initial rather pointless reference to an external game with the naming of this building, I doubt that such an industry could survive all this time in the real world. So in my version, Kane Tiberium makes NutriliteTM vitamins, minerals & dietary supplements products to turn a buck. Please note that this new file doesn't interfere with the original Maxis files and will work for those who have a Maxis blocker installed. This I-HT Anchor lot comes in two flavours: 4x3 and 4x4 (use the CTRL Key while zoning to ensure that you get the correct lot size). It is growable only on medium and high density Industrial zones and provides between 300 jobs. The building itself is based on a boxy mid-century modern design and brings a retro flair to your industrial zones. Stats, links and dependencies are listed below. --------------------------------------- STATS (IHT): Growth Stage: 3 (medium and high density zones) Bulldoze Cost: §264 Capacity Satisfied: IH-T 300 Pollution: 7 (Air)/ 3 (Water)/ 4 (Garbage ) Pollution Radius: 6/7/0 Power Consumed: 55 Mwh Water Consumed: 51 Gal/Month Building Style: Chicago/NY/Houston/Euro Occupant Group: IHT Anchor Building --------------------------------------- NOTE ABOUT DARK NITE vs MAXIS NITE: This download contains TWO model files; one for dark nite users (and other night-time darkening mods, such as Gizmos night-mod) and one for the standard Maxis nite. You must keep only one file - depending on which version you use. If you are unsure whether you have a night-darkening mod installed, then choose the Maxis night version. Regardless of which file you choose to keep, make sure you DO NOT delete the Lot or Desc files! If you use the dark nite version, you will need a dark nite mod. --------------------------------------- DEPENDENCIES: *BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol01.dat: http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=746 *BSC Mega Props - Mattb325 Vol03.dat: http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=2768 *PEG CHAINLINK RESOURCE - To install, simply unzip the file into your plugins folder. Jenquai Alchemy, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- Another Maxis Hi-tech ( stalwart gets a 21st Century facelift. Jenquai goes from that small half underground building which steps back from the lot (and is accessed via a sort of draw-bridge) to a shiny, new and much larger facility. Just like the previous building which had sunken areas and elevated walkways, this new IHT factory provides a lovely, leafy sunken courtyard for employees to take lunch as well as a raised walkway connecting the two buildings. This version is a Hi-Tech growable anchor 6x6 lot (use the CTRL key when zoning to ensure the correct lot size) and will not interfere with any Maxis blockers or re-lots of the original Jenquai Alchemy. --------------------------------------- STATS IH-T§§§: Lot size : 6x6 (Use the CTRL key when zoning) Growth Stage: 3 (Medium and High Density Zoning) Bulldoze Cost: § 391 Capacity Satisfied: IHT§§§ 838 Pollution: 16 (Air)/ 6 (Water)/ 5 (Garbage ) Pollution Radius: 6/7/0 Power Consumed: 117 Mwh Water Consumed: 109 Gal/Month Building Style: Chicago/NY/Houston/Euro Occupant Group: Hi Tech Industrial Anchor Building --------------------------------------- NOTE ABOUT DARK NITE vs MAXIS NITE: This download contains TWO model files; one for dark nite users (and other night-time darkening mods, such as Gizmos night-mod) and one for the standard Maxis nite. Regardless of which file you choose to keep, make sure you DO NOT delete the Lot or Desc files! If you use the dark nite version, you will need a dark nite mod. --------------------------------------- A NOTE ABOUT PARKING TEXTURES: Sadly, if there appears to be any parking used in the content picture as either part of, or adjacent to the custom content in question, it has now come to the ridiculous scenario of having to write a blurb about parking textures given yet more comments received form only one or two users (comments which incidentally are only made on my lots - I note that other active Batters use Maxis parking lots all the time and receive no negative comments, such is the double-standard). Please note that I will use whatever parking textures I feel like on my lots. If you want something else, then use the lot editor. --------------------------------------- DEPENDENCIES: *BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol01.dat: http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=746 *BSC Mega Props - CP Vol01.dat: http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1180 *BSC Mega Props - CP Vol02.dat: http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=2790 *BSC Texture Pack - Cycledogg V01.dat: http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=101 *BSC Texture Pack Vol01 - http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=90 To install, simply unzip the file into your plugins folder. I Kellydale2003 present to you the beautiful modern high-tech and one-of-a-kind Eicosakis Biology Research Centre! HISTORY In this technological era of mankind it's nearly impossible to ignore all the amazing buildings being built in the Western World for modern medicine! This building helps keep up to speed with the biological research that is essential to the health of the modern World we live in today. An amazing trend in today's modern buildings is building green! This building is inspired to capture the green essence by reducing the number of windows and using recycled material to build. With the number of windows reduced, less light and heat enters the building resulting in less effort for air-conditioning. During the design of the building I had realized that another trend in building construction is that structures are being built smaller than their lots permit them! This has a profound effect on the environment. The more of a building that is accessible to the sunlight increases the surface area that can generate heat... essentially heating up a city! This building is designed to fit in wall-to-wall with other structures to reduce the surface area while maintaining modern architecture with a beautiful terrace! The building isn't designed to be an entire focal point for a city! It's merely meant to blend in with other medium rise buildings... We have too many skyscrapers, and too many whom want to take the cake! The building is built for modern medicine and features both a COSSS or a High-tech version! When I initially asked the public in the Simtropolis chatroom if they would like a hospital version of this... they weren't too thrilled! So please, if you want a Hospital version of this... I'd be pleased to do so! Just post in my "Skyscrapers Galore " forum! Oh no! I did it again!... NO dependencies! ooops! Download the MAXIS NIGHT file if you do not have SimFox's Darknight installed in your plugins! Download the DARK NIGHT file if you have Dark Night installed! For more upcoming projects visit my thread! (: Enjoy! , Kellydale2003 ps; "Eicosakis" is my official middle name... Similar to the number twenty in Greek!

Those wind turbines produce about 200-300. They cost between 2000 and 3000. They make no noise pollution, so you can place them in your town, or in your no highrise cities. There are two versions, an urban lot, and a suburban lot (as in the pictures). Sadly they don't have an animation. I hope you like it.
