I have updated my Twin Towers I BATed back in September to bring you a new version! I felt the updated was much needed after finding some time to do so. I feel now they stand as they should for SimCity 4's standards. I'm sure most of us already know about the Twin Towers, what they were, what happened to them, etc. They were once great landmarks located in Lower Manhattan, in New York City. They were once the tallest buildings in the city and the state of New York. Standing on top of either tower would give you a feeling of being on Top of the World. If you'd like to learn more about them, feel free to read their Wikipedia Article for starters. Personally, I find them to be marvels of architecture. I miss them highly, and I hope that they can stand indefinitely in SC4 at least. Installation Instructions: You do not have to demolish any lots. You can either delete the original model files from the previous upload and replace them with the new model files, or you can simply use the zip file to replace all files at once. The lots are exactly the same previously, the only change is the model files. Stats: Each tower sits on a 5x5 lot. Each tower is CO$$$ and provides about 21,000 jobs each. They are ploppable landmarks only, and are found in the landmarks menu. Dependencies- None! All added props for these towers are included. Special thanks to Mattb325 for modding the first version, then doing some more modding work for the new version. Thanks as well goes to T Wrecks and Gn_leugim for their opinions on this. I hope you all will enjoy this update! I tried to update the original upload and unintentionally deleted it. -Brandon- 41 Comments

An old BAT I did long ago that has appeared and dissappeared from the STEX is now back. As a Christmas gift from me to you!...I think... I'd like to thank spa for being one of the few people to still have this BAT so that I may re-upload it. spa is also responsible for the lot this time, I believe...from what I remember...it was awhile back. Any way, this building is the second tallest building in Alexandria, LA at 140.77 feet tall(estimated from emporis.com) and features itself as a small slanted blue glass tower. It is situated on 429 Murray St. in Downtown Alexandria. It is one of my most favorite buildings in downtown Alex(pronounced "Ellic" a nickname for Alexandria). I know I probably had released several versions since I strived for perfection on one of my favorite buildings, so if anyone recognizes this building and has a version that they believe is newer, please let me know! Stats- CO$$ Capacity- 91 jobs Lot Size- 1x3 Dependencies- Nein The lot is growable. Hope you all enjoy! Merry Christmas! -

Update: I scaled up the model to a proper scale to match the scale factor the team uses. You could simply replace all the files when redownloading. There's no need to demolish any lots. The only real change is the model file and it should simply replace the older one easily. NYBT presents- Home Insurance Plaza(version 2!) Around 2010, I created Home Insurance Plaza from NYC for NYBT, but now I felt that a new and improved version was necessary and thus here it is. Home Insurance Plaza is an International Styled skyscraper located in the Financial District of New York City, or in Lower Manhattan. Specifically, it is a block behind One Chase Manhattan Plaza and towers above and behind the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. It was built to house(no pun intended ) the Home Insurance Company. Constructed in 1966, HIP was one of the first International Styled skyscrapers to be built in Downtown following the wake of One Chase Manhattan Plaza(in 1960). It's facade include white brick strips and darker spandrels. It also features a windowless "core" or outer core. The set up of the building, its core and it's main part, is similar to the Jacob K. Javits Federal Building which was designed by the same person that crafted the design of HIP. Home Insurance Plaza also features a mural on one of its blind walls. The Liberty Mural I believe it's called. Home Insurance Plaza shares a city block with 3 other buildings that are all connected to each other. However, for the upload only HIP is included. Stats- CO$$ Jobs- 4,504 Lot Size- 5x3 Growth Stage- 8 Growable only. No ploppables 2 Lots are included, one grows on corners, while the other doesn't have to grow on corners. Dependencies- NYBT Essentials BSC MEGA Props CP Vol 1 (Must be registered at SC4 Devotion to download this, if you do not have it already.) Notes- I'd recommend deleting the previous version of Home Insurance Plaza from your Plugins Folders and cities before downloading this one. There could be conflicts having both but I'm not sure. This building is meant to be mainly W2W though there will be an alley. It's meant to be on an urban block with multiple buildings but it can be used as a stand alone tower, though I'd recommend having it sharing a city block with other tall buildings. Hope you all will enjoy this one! -Sgt Pepper- 23 Comments

Wow! My kind of month! Long time no see. I just wanted to pop in and say hi and remind you all that you continue to churn out great BATs! Though I've moved on from SC4 quite some time ago, I still should be logging in now and again when I have the time. Great to see the activity! -Brandon- 117 Replies

NYBT presents 130 Liberty Street. The absence of this BAT is no longer and it returns to the STEX once again! Finally modded for you all to enjoy. Credits to Gwail for keeping this BAT and modding it for me. Many thanks, Gwail! 130 Liberty Street was formally a bank located in the Financial District of New York. It was completed in 1974. This once great international-styled building once stood in front of the South Tower of the World Trade Center with an elevated plaza and a foot bridge to the WTC Plaza. The building became more known after the September 11th Attacks. It was demolished(or currently still being demolished?) after being damaged beyond repair in the attacks. Now you can have this 70's beauty in your cities. Only a Ploppable Version is Included. Plop Cost- $110,000 Occupant Type- CO$$ Jobs- 5589 Lot Size-5x6 Dependencies- NYBT Essentials for the custom Query. https://www.simtropolis.com/STEX/details.cfm?id=22916 Enjoy the return of this BAT!- 13 Comments

B5? You sunk my battleship! This is the Big Bad Black Box Building (collectively the B5 coined by our dear T Wrecks ). It is somewhat of a new version of a building I recreated for NYBT, which was the former building that occupied a city block at 130 Liberty Street in New York. However, this new version isn't intended for accuracy like the last version, I simply wanted a newer building with a slightly smaller lot size. Stats of the B5- Growable version only. Lot Size- 4x4 Occupant Type- CO$$ Jobs- 5,000 Dependencies- None! Okay so ingame you won't see it grow as the B5, it's named Paperback Publishing Company(if someone puts two and two together with this name and my username you get an imaginary cookie). So if you wish to plop it with the Extra Cheats Plugin DLL, look for it in the first few P's. However, you can rename the building as much as you'd like. Hope ya'll enjoy this one! -
Will I get any special 3D glasses to see those bricks popping out at me? The detail is so intricate and impressive. Love the copper roof at the top. The texture is well done.

APSMS: The Twin Towers were actually International Style. As for more modern architecture... Well I guess the reflective facades save me the trouble of craning my neck to look at the sky.- 104 Replies

Very interesting work Aaron. I love that central wing of the building. The "E" shape is really neat. I don't think we have a lot of "E" shaped NY buildings BATed aside from the "H" plan structures.- 2,347 Replies

NYBT presents- a somewhat fantasy building called Bankers Trust Funds. This building is loosely inspired by 14 Wall Street in New York. It's an art-deco styled building with a pyramid roof. About 30 stories tall. It's meant to be a pinnacle to an urban city block, or even a crown jewel of a small but old skyline. NYBT is going to start mixing uploads that are either recreations or fantasy NY-styled buildings. So this will be one of the first. It's meant to grow on corners. Though the building isn't W2W, it tightly fits its lot so it could blend a little in a W2W environment but it can stand on its own. Le Statz- Occupant Type: High Wealth Commercial Office Occupant Count: 1204 Lot Size: 2x2 Corner Dependencies: For the NYBT Query, download this http://community.sim...ybt-essentials/ I haven't tested the BAT without it but I'd recommend downloading it just in case, and for a nifty query our good member Gwail made. Otherwise, there's no other dependencies. I hope you all will enjoy this one! Edited a typo...I put of instead of or. :s -

My first upload on the new STEX! Finally. A generic skyscraper inspired by a building I've seen in Detroit. Not much to say since its not really anything in real life exactly. Stats Type- CO$$(Medium Wealth Commercial Office) Capacity(jobs)- 1043 Lot Size- 2x3 Growth Stage- 8 Growable Ingame Name- Brand Tower Suites No dependencies. No ploppable version. Speacial thanks to the followers of my BAT thread for assisting me with this BAT. And speacial thanks to Aaron Graham for the nightmaps used. Enjoy! -
