Ahh! I see the electricity finally came on...the light bulb over your head lit up. Be amazed as that rarely happens. Most of my bulbs are burned out too!

I do have one of those programs I use for my Railroad game but never thought to use it on SC4.

Nonny, I have been having a very good time with SC4 and still love it but sometimes I struggle with getting things to work out and need a break. SC4 is actually not crashing near as much on the new computer but I think I get to caught up in it at times, so time to park it for awhile. Jim, I do have a sight where I can get Banished for about 10 on sale unless the sale is over but right now don't have the funds. I will get it someday.

Hmmn, I seem to notice that too about most games like that and thought it was just me! LOL!

I am eager to get Banished someday. How are you liking it?

So ever played this game anyone? I was going to buy it on Steam but found it for less on GOG.com. I can do terra forming on it and it is a building/strategy game based in Egypt. You have to make sure your people have what they need. You know the food, shelter and basics. Prestige is also important as is getting that pryamid built before the Pharoah (you) croak. You also have to train armies and navy to defend against raiders, train city guards to protect the town from vagrants too. You can set up relations for trade with computer generated cites also for goods you can't produce yourself. I am enjoying it greatly! It is an older game made in 2004 but I have had no problems running it on Windows 8. I am annoyed right now with SC4 and this is a nice break.
