Hello all, me again for a quick question, how to get my NAM curved pieces to have pavement / sidewalks on them on not just grass? Looks wierd having buildings built around them with just grass. Many thanks, Jimmy.

Love the Greek church and surrounding environs! What lots did you use for the parking lots? I could use some myself after seeing your great work!

Hello all, just a quick question, I've recently installed the latest version of the NAM, however, despite going into the advanced bits and selecting European LHD I have ended up with European RHD, I have tried doing it twice now will no luck. Anyone know what the most likely cause of this would be? Lastly, when it comes to uninstalling the NAM do I simply delete all my files or is there an uninstall application I can run? Many thanks guys, Jimmy.

So I'm guessing Brexit has not happened in this city? Just asking, that is all... -

Feedback on my 3D printed miniature buildings
fighterfungus replied to ittyblox's topic in General Off-Topic
Best thing since sliced bread chap! I will pledge this on your kickstarter If this doesn't succeed you could look at selling to tourist markets by creating accurate representations of cities, London, Paris, New York etc. If not it would be dream to see this kit sold in the same quantities and packs as Lego, Geo-mag, Knex etc, a city you can create yourself that is fully modular! All the best in future!- 3 Replies

SimCity (2013) Official Mod Request Thread
fighterfungus replied to Cockatoo's topic in SimCity (2013) Modding - Open Discussion
My MOD request would be regarding lower density concrete roads, they add real character to my cities and almost give it character however when I want larger development and I have to upgrade the roads to the next stage which is 4 lanes I feel my character is drawn away to a city that just wants to expand so would it be possible that we can get a lower, medium and high density roads that are all 2 lane only? -
Park & Rides by the avenue that enters the city can reduce congestion alot too however I noticed you already have 2 high rises on the site which would be ideal for them so it would be at a cost... Other than that looks good to meh

We are now have x6 A2 sheets nearly filled with cities and with 1 nearly coloured entirely however there are still gaps and building design gets harder and harder as I have used a lot of my ideas already... Anyhow this is some smaller photo's from 2 area's of 2 of the 6 A2 sheets... First up, this is a Industrial / Residencial area, the bottom left see's the Inter-City Motorway while the centre captures the ring road dual carriageway and suburban rail lines via viaduct. Its nice although the viaduct takes ruddy ages to do because its created with both free-style and ruler drawings. Next up, an on-going piece, we can see another ring road dual carriageway, construction of a new building, large multi-storey car park and several of the centre's new and currently on-going Edwardian / Victorian structures The crown of the this particular A2 sheet is this Franco - Anglo station it took 6 hours to draw and doesn't even measure more than 15cm in real life! We can also see a motorway above the beginning of the one of the city's many high-rise districts And lastly here we can see a fine court in the city centre just moments for the central station, the stairs are guarded by several gold plated Lions as they impose and represent a British justice system. I hope you have enjoyed the latest update and I thank you for taking the time to look, just before you go I ask that due to the fact that these pictures are up to date that should you have a building / BAT / idea on any open / un-used space then please I am more than willing to add it in and give full credit! Many thanks, - James.

My Art Work Thread (London sketches 3.2.15)
fighterfungus replied to 89James89's topic in General Off-Topic
I love the Melbourne one, its really nice how the windows have been brought out as this makes the buildings have real character, and the tram also, I love the tram just because its nostalgic! The details are spot on, the background is nice but the attention and the detail is just right with the overhead catenary and tram itself. -
Hello I am having trouble, quite some time ago I downloaded a building that looked like a wind turbine that removed all pollution from my city and the only side effect was that should I delete it, the city would be plagued forever in pollution however I cannot for the love of me find a mod or building that does this, does anyone know where one might be? thank you, ~ James.

Hello Everyone, Well Simcity 2013 means that the drawing continues for longer as I simply get bored too quickly so I have gone back to the old drawing... I will post individual pictures and then post the overall piece (which is outdated its now 5 pages not 4 ) Overview of page 2 Overview of page 3 Overview of page 1 Overview of page 4 Old overview of all 4 pages (now 5) Close up on the viaduct A church in the hills Queen Elizabeth II tower So that is a short update so far, no pictures of the 5th page but at the moment its 4 hours in and 1 of those hours was on a single building, a nice courthouse! I hope you have enjoyed so far. ~ James.

Enjoy! http://www.stonetronix.com/gdc-2013/ Please note all the Simcity stuff is under 'Simulating a City - One Page at a Time' section... ~ James. -

Ummm sort of, Simcity is the main inspiration however this city is made up as I go along, except for landmarks and infrastructure like junctions and stations etc which tend to be drawn in rough sketches... -

Me too, lol, I have no idea what to do for it, I was thinking along the lines of the Woolworths building perhaps? -
Am I alone in thinking this? I am pretty sure this game has gone beyond words for the wrong reasons... The game is screwed and so is Electronic Arts... Other peoples thoughts? ~ James.
