I'm working on a rural area and there is a noticeable lack of mobile homes. Does anyone know if there are any good mobile home or trailer park lots? So for, I've only found "Rollerhomes" Any help would be appreciated!

I have really enjoyed this God Mode tree controller and the mmps that are included in it. However, I do have one issue. It seems that the trees start in autumn no matter what time of year it is. I have done my best to work with this but, I have already carefully painted trees in many cities in the region. Now seasonal trees are very slightly out of sync with each other and definitely out of sync with the seasonal trees on my streets and grow able lots. In the past I have used ploppable parks with seasonal trees on them that were synced with the in game calendar. Is it possible to do the same thing with God Mode or mmp trees?

Cascadia Tree Controller Seasonal Trees
Fluffyvito replied to Fluffyvito's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Thank you very much! As annoying as this is I'll just grit my teeth replant my flora. Its less annoying that seeing unsyncronized trees, that's for sure. Just when I had finished tracing all my wetlands. Ahaha. -
Its been over a year since I really played some SC4 and several years since I played it more than occasionally. I am ecstatic to see that the community is still alive and well after all these years. It makes me happy to see that some of the familiar faces like A Nonny Moose are still around. I had the hankerin' to play again, it started with me wanting to look at the old cities I made, and now here I am downloading plugins like the old days! It is sad to see the loss of Sim Peg though...

Started playing again after a long hiatus and I used to have a nice set of under water flora mm ploppables. I suspect that they were Gizmo's but, his website appears to be gone. Anyone know where I can find them? I'm also looking for a set of trees that I think are Cycledogg but, could be Jeronij, that come with several different types of forests you can "brush" that act like God Mode tree controllers but, are accessible in mayor mode.

Hello everyone! I love everything that you guys have been posting! SimRico I love your neighborhood on the hill. ROFLyoshi your town kinda remids me of a mix of Monte Carlo and Hollywood. I also like how organic your downtown looks. Lordyboy96 I really enjoy the market and English countryside feel. Anyway, I made a small town, called Newcastle, to test some of the new custom content I downloaded. I was trying to give it a bit of that rural Northern New England feel that I am so accustomed to here in Maine. However, I didn't save her as I have different plans for that map. Enjoy!

Regions in SC5 look pretty neat (from E3 video)

I would be interested to see how something similar to the GRV challenges would be implemented using the shared regions. -
SimCity: Transit and Roading Networks
Fluffyvito replied to alvinheriadi's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
Yeah I noticed that too! I was just about to post a picture of another angle with just the tracks. Its nice to see that we get trains, trams and buses. -
This is definitely a very good start! I think the only thing that really needs to be done to make the lots seem less blank is the addition of clutter props (fences, shrubs, cars, signs, crates etc..) and maybe some spicing up of the lots textures. I also agree that I would like to see the road curves look a bit more smooth. Considering Maxis has at the very least and estimated 8 or 9 months till release date I can only imagine what the final screen shots will look like. After reading the article I realized that a Steam release has been confirmed!

Discussion about Always-On Connection to Origin
Fluffyvito replied to neurokirurgi's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
What concerns me the most about the constant connection requirement could leave us high and dry if and when EA decides to pull the plug on the servers. I much rather prefer the game to work like Tropico 3 where an internet connection is not required to play, but it automatically connects when you do have one. It also kind of saddens me that I won't be able to keep SC2013 with all my Steam games, but thats not very important. -
As long as the game properly simulates where certain classes of sims live based on desirability factors and can properly simulate commutes I'm happy.

The New Sim City. Will It be Good or Not?
Fluffyvito replied to simfan's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
At first I was a bit skeptical after having been let down twice in the past by Sim City Societies and Cities XL, but after reading the blogs by Maxis I have to say I am excited. What I find most promising is that Maxis seems to be really focusing on getting the simulation right which is really where the game makes it or breaks it. I can't wait to hear what they say about the transportation systems and terraforming. -
While I think it is a little early to start the doom and gloom, we shouldn't get too excited either. At least not this early in the game. Remember that Sim City 4 wasn't exactly perfect when it was released either. We made it the best game it could be and that took years. I shall try to contain my excitement for the time being and see how this progresses. The graphics are actually quite nice and I did see buildings growing in the trailer. I will be following this development with great interest.

= Are you thinking of this one??? Yes! Thank you! I would never have thought to look under the textures category.

Hello everyone! My old hard drive is currently inaccesible and I'm rebuilding my plugins folder from scratch. I'm looking for the mod that allows you to zone agricultural zones one square at a time. I love making irregular farms! Anyway, I know it used to be in the modds section but, after scouring it and searching the STEX in general I've come up with nothing. If you could just link it to where it is now that would be awesome! Much obliged, Kabuto23

The Official Global Warming/Climate Change Thread
Fluffyvito replied to Micah's topic in Current Events
While I do not necessarily agree that we humans are contributing to climate change to the extent that some claim we do. I do, however, like how this concern for the environment has opened our eyes as to how wasteful our modern industrialized society is. The biggest positive effect, at least in my opinion, is the rediscovery of long abandoned technologies such as: solar power or electric cars. I find it such waste that perfectly good plastic in say a milk jug is simply thrown away to just sit in a landfill forever when it could be melted down into something useful again. On the other hand I am profoundly disturbed by the abuse of the environmental cause simply to make a profit. All in all I feel that the recent concern with our environment to be mostly a benefit to us humans. For now we only have one planet, and one home if we ruin it now we only hurt ourselves. No matter what we do, short of thermonuclear affiliation, the planet will recover just not in anytime span we can easily relate to. ~Cheers Kabuto23 Edit: Concerning plastic bags what I do not understand is the inability to at some degree adopt bio-degradeable plastics. Its not like the technology dosen't exist as it does; biodegradeable plastic BB's are fairly common. -
Thanks, elemented9 i think I might start a CJ. Its about time I stopped lurking anyway.
