People began complaining about the lack of mass transit in and around Cityville. This is what they got (also higher taxes to pay for it). The first apartments are built. Lack of education is still still present in the region, but things are improving. The university has still not been built. Here is a map view of much of the region With the new bus lines, mass transit usage has gone up. The beautiful Pine Peninsula was sold to a developer and they wasted no time in building a new subdivision. This building looks like a whale shark. Crime has gotten pretty bad around the technical college. Much of the city is still lacking in community. Surprisingly, Boxwood Estates has the strongest community. With no sales tax, Morcup has become home to many businesses. Maybe it is time to collect a new tax. The 1% sales tax doesn't come close to covering the transit operations, but it is enough to balance the budget... if I don't build very much. Lakeland is still mostly an idea, but someday will host a large university. In the meantime, people are finally starting to get enough education... to work in the factories. The lucky ones get to work in this candy tree factory. Here are some graphs

At 500,000 people, it was decided that a stadium should be built. A little bit of eminent domain was required. The location couldn't get much better. The stadium brought crime. Moving on, more roads were built through the plains outside the city. Further development is stalled until the area is named. The Blue Train Line was extended to the edge of the world recently, but the trains still run mostly empty. What a view. Sprawl Farmville is one of the region's two farming centers. It has not expanded in many years, but has managed to escape being swallowed up by the city.... so far.

Discussion about Always-On Connection to Origin
neurokirurgi posted a topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
http://www.vg247.com...tion-to-origin/ So basically this means no purchase for me. Such a shame, the game I've been waiting for years gets announced and it's seems awesome, and yet they manage to screw it up with stuff like this. I could live with the always online requirement (even though it's idiotic and drives people to piracy), but no mods means no purchase. edit: after hearing from you and other EA/Maxis sources, it seems like mod support is on it's way. There's still the issue of the always online requirement. While multiplayer sounds exiting (I for one would love to build regions together with friends), it shouldn't be forced on people, and I'm also a bit concerned about the global economy thing they are implementing into the game. There should always exist the option of playing completely offline, having your own fun without anyone else interfering in your little sphere of city simulation. And frankly, that's what they should be focusing on the most, traditional SimCity gameplay, just updated to be as good as possible in 2013 and the years to come. -
Cityville was founded in September of 1986. It lies on the gigantic Lake Nascimento, and the nearby Ketchum River. The Metropolitan Board of Urban Planning and Development headed by Gustav Kuykendahl (F/K/A Gustav Knifenfork)and Rob Newbie, brother of Bob Newbie, decided given is pristine location and awestruck beauty, it would be great to build the capital here[
