  1. That's exactly how I feel! Could not agree more with you.. And the fact that you are actually a contributor makes it even more important! I still believe that the reason why SC4 made it this far, and hopefully skylines does too is because of the community. Sure, some people will pay, but what about the people that wont? I dont know.. to me, community and money dont get along, you either share and have fun with everybody, or you can make some dollars a month and destroy the game in a couple of months.

    I liked the video, and I think the centre looks great! BUT! there is something that I found odd.. at some point, you were adding the tiles, and you did so to the car parking area, which I honestly found odd.. was that on purpose or is it something that slipped away?

  10. Maybe we could have a RICO version with the shops? Make it a commercial building maybe? I understand that making it growable forces you to make the change, but, we dont need the exact number of stores.. maybe add some.. like a McDonalds, and something else.. you know, kind of what we get in those downtown area buildings.

Well, I wont argue with any of the points above as again, I dont live there, but have you ever considered that the biggest problem might be that London actually sucks dry the rest of the country's economy? See, outside the UK its actually hard to recognize important cities in a global scale, except for London, which in my opinion has become something more of a city state rather than being another city in the country. Most of the plans are actually tailored for London and do not work for the country, and yes I understand that London is the access point for the rest of the world, but no party is going to change anything unless the country starts to work as a country again. The way I see it, cities like Liverpool or Manchester, that used to be important places in the world (specially 100 years ago back in the empire days) are now nothing but a small dot on a map. To me it's all about distribution. I do believe the UK has some great potential, but unfortunately, the best days are behind, so I really think it's time to bring the country as a whole rather than focusing on just one area.

    Very good! I like it.. I'm not even a golf expert, in fact I have no idea of how gold courses are, yet yours seems so natural and realistic.. Again, fantastic update, I really enjoyed it!

    Nice update! I think the british assets for industry look really nice.. is there a way to maybe mix them within the actual town? Or is that something that is not commonly seen?
  24. You are probably right.. at this stage time is key! I like the new building, and the textures look really good. The back part looks good, but I wouldn't extend the plants so high, looks like a lot of green for a city building.. but that's just me.
  25. @Judazzz Yeah.. got them all.. Although for some reason Attercap hasn't uploaded anything in a long time. @Darf Holy cow! Those are fantastic buildings to model for the game! And yes, I agree with the fact of sc4 being visually attractive. Now, that's exactly the problem at the same time when you are trying to build something like Manhattan.. there comes a point where every building gets to level 4 or 5, and they all look the same!! That's why I love these threads.. you guys are changing the game, transforming it.. I mean, at this pace, we are looking at the next sc4 for sure!
