There are several building that I can't seem to find and honestly I don't even know if the they exist, Does anyone know if there are any ploppable funeral homes? A modern city hall?  The city hall doesnt have to be functional I guess, but it would be nice. Thanks!

For funeral homes, maybe have a look at this Cemetary/Funeral lot by Pezzajn

This is more like international style, but I think you could like it:

I checked out Darknono35's work and that had many tall diagonals that I really like. Thanks for the response! And international style is good too! Pretty much anything other than the Euro-style classical or neoclassical which I am reserving for my capital city in the region.

Thanks again!

Does anyone know if there are any traffic generators for NWM roads?

Since the NWM is part of the NAM system, I would just suggest installing one of the options via the installer for adding persistent traffic, if that is more to your liking. You have the option of 24-hour traffic, which simulates a rush hour in morning and evening commutes with more traffic, or you can choose the persistent automata for constant heavy traffic during all game simulation. I personally like the latter option because I can see where traffic is jamming and gives the city an alive look whenever I play (granted it slows down a lot if you have an old computer).

I think because of these options, no NWM specific generator has been made, but I could be wrong. The above options avoid any other download.

I need to have a look at my NAM installation because I did select persistent automata but it's not appearing on my NWM networks.

Anybody know where to find the mod that removes the maxis street lights from roadways? Or is there a mod that replaces the street lights with something other than stock?

I don't think you can remove them entirely. The Light Replacement Mod is very good though and has a lot of options for replacement. Just read through the installer properly to ensure you choose the right options.

The alternative is the Uniform Streetlighting Mod (USL). The main difference, it's one unified colour of lights, whereas LRM uses different colours for different networks.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

In any case, with a few effort one could customize the USL to get colour differentiated by networks and wealth level. Also, the USL allows to choose the intensity of lighting, which could be very handy when having custom parking lots. Although, the USL does not include lamppost props, so you have to stick with the maxis ones, whereas the LRM includes a wide variety of european and american configurations.

Honestly that's not an easy one. Since the MHO (PS) not only reduced the number of lanes, but increased the width of the overall road surface, the Maxis HW models wouldn't look right.

MHO is basically RHW-4 textures, so a RHW-4 toll booth model would be ideal. Again, not sure if these exist. If you could find one, I could look at making it work for you. MHO is a model based network. This means the highway can't simply be textures, but that shouldn't be too difficult to overcome.

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

I read somewhere that there's an SC4 app that can tell you what dependencies are needed when you open a city that pops up the "Plug-in Pack needed" window.  Can anyone give me any information on such an app?

Thank you.

Yo, guy --

Did you ever find this app/ Mod you're asking about??  It could be a life-saver !!  Might help us track down dependencies.

I did.  But my laptop (and back-up drive) with four yrs worth of sc4 work and a 3gb plugins folder were destroyed in 11/14.  And I don't remember the name of the app.  It does exist and was quite helpful.

Hi guys.

After looking at Feyss' most recent CJ entry, I saw some buildings and transit stations, that I hadn't seen before, and I was hoping you guys would be able to help me located them. I've noted them in red circles; there are 10 in total. Thanks for any help!

Yo, guy --

#1 is the Otto Von Bismarck Statue found in Berlin -- you can find it on LEX (it was part of their Advent Calendar this year).  My thanx to the author -- I luuuuv that statue !!

#2 is the Barby Winterton Memorial Monument.  Can't remember -- got it off either LEX or STEX.

#3 is one of an entire set of beautifully executed column monuments called "The Column of Heroes" -- either LEX or STEX.  The night lighting is very good.

Thanx for stopping by the CJ -- nice to see I'm stirring up some interest. :thumb:

First two are LEX items, both are fairly recent IIRC.

I  myself am looking for some things I saw in @v701's Krognas City CJ.

Is there a mod (or a option or whatever, doesn't matter to me) that shuts off automata at all zoom levels? I tried doing that with the game's settings but they are still visible at the closest zoom. Is there a way around this?

The download you linked contains the double-decker Regio-Bahn automata. I had a look at the rest of the automata on the site, but couldn't see the S-Bahn's amongst them. The set by Oppie contains IC, ICE and Talent passenger trains from Germany, but no S-Bahn either.

Hi everybody,

@DavidDHetzel, I can't find this church for the moment but you can find similar files on the page of @Wallibuk here : https://community.simtropolis.com/profile/450831-wallibuk/?do=content&type=downloads_file&change_section=1

Concerning the building next to the one with the blue roof, it's this one : (from @Krio)

And the blue one next to it appears in my game under the name of "Culver's restaurant", but I can't find it on the STEX, so I join the files with the messages.
