I think the idea is to rehost as much as possible from the LEX at SC4E. I don't think I have seen these before so I would certainly +1 your request but I know that there is a lot of work involved and the process is not always fast. Luckily SC4 has been going for more than 20 years so we should learn to wait, most will happen in the end.

Thanks. It really encourages me to make more buildings and bring them to SC4. I think my retirement transition will take a really long time. (Hoping you can get what I mean)

Thanks anyway. I will let you know when things are ready. It is not that easy to establish it in my place.

I'm pretty sure those are by @WannGLondon but for some reason I can't find them in his content page.

They were released by @WannGLondon over at LEX as Townhomes. I think the best would be to send WannG a DM and ask to upload these to STEX. There were more files that were only on LEX

I love your cities, but I can't agree with tearing down so many trees in favour of plain white cement in a sun-baked Mediterranean climate.

Bring back the shade!

I think that you are right, I'm adding some trees and small fountains in the middle of the pavement for the hot days of the year. Good point mate!!

A grand Victorian department store:

Lovely old department store! Really cool as MissVanleider said, we lost so many of these here in the U.K. during covid. It takes you back to a "Are you being served?" period where the customer was actually personally taken care of individually by trained and friendly staff who tried to find you the right item for your needs and wants. In the old days they would even serve you drink, food. IDK, maybe Harrods is still like this, (I've never been lol) but it's rare.

My local Debenhams had that. When I bought a bottle of YSL for my mother in around 2019 for xmas I was served by a woman who told me her name, asked me mine, insisted I sample several bottles, asked me all kinds of questions about my mum to find the right scent, then went out of her way to go into the storeroom to find a YSL makeup bag (which are like £20 on ebay) which she gave me for free just as a gift, all to sell one bottle of perfume. I mean it's an extreme example, but I'm just saying seeing this model reminds me of how our grand department stores used to be before they became basically malls. Debenhams was a massive loss to the UK highstreet.

Luckily Simgoober and Matt both did a Debenhams!

These townhomes are absolutely gorgeous! As @WannGLondon is still around, it would be great of they could upload these to the STEX, or if someone could help them do so if they are pressed for time. It would help Tyberius06 check another item off his, I'm guessing, ridiculously long list of things to restore. :(

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

Welcome back. *:thumb: No pressure, but I think there are a few of us who would gladly help you with anything, modding, lotting, uploading stuff. Not too many people were into creating stuff to airports so that's always nice to see more planes and airport accessories.

I can only second this. Especially since some airlines have changed liveries (e.g. Lufthansa, Brussels Airlines and probably others too), which made a few updates really nice.

Looks fantastic. What are you using to make the diagonal plazas? And what about the curved plazas? I've been using ploppable dirt to do my curved park paths but evidently there is a better way.

Also, can you show us a close up of that section of park in the centre with the palm tree? I've always struggled with green lawns in my parks so I tend to make them very heavy on trees. It looks like you've pulled it off well though, so I'm keen to learn.

Here's one of my parks for comparison. It doesn't much compare.

I wanted to ask the same thing! Those plaza paths are perfect for city parks. I think your paths are pretty nice though. It adds almost a rural touch. I'm imaging Central park in the 19th century with that picture!

Thanks mate. The diagonal plazas are part of an old plaza set that is no longer available. As for the curved pathways, i use several types of plop dirt and  pathways. Those can be found on STEX. Nice park!!!

The white diagonal plazas.

Were these the SFBT T Wrecks Diagonal Fillers? Something rings the bell definitely. If they were on LEX or SimcityKurier we can restore them for sure, but I need the exact name of the upload and preferably to creator so I can hunt it down more easily.

I'm not sure what mitsos did, but I'd like to recommend you one of my own plugins, the Modular Plaza System. It comes with a diagonal plaza along with other content used to create plazas from a modular set.

I found a couple of old pictures of those fillers, not sure if they are the same, would still be great to have them restored though*:thumb:
