It's on! The waves are here and the competition has started!
The World Surf League (WSL) is now live in Port de Caravella for round 5 of the Mens + Womens Championship Tour: The Ripcurl Pro Caravella Classic 2018.
This spectacular event takes place on the waves of Plage Le Soleil (Sunshine Beach) located about 20 minutes southwest of the Port de Caravella city center.
The Ripcurl Pro Caravella Classic 2018 started on May 27th and will continue up to June 9th, daily competition is subject to the water conditions - but the weather is looking good!
So far the competition has been fierce as 2017 World Champion John John Florence and the current leader in 2018 Championship Tour, Julian Wilson, both lost their heats in Round 3. Tomorrow the competition continues with Round 4, with heat winners advancing into the Quarter Finals.

The Ripcurl Pro Caravella Classic 2018 takes place on Plage Le Soleil.
The capital of Principauté de Caravella-Guatalaga, Port de Caravella, is the host city of this world-wide broadcasted sports event.
And it just gets better …
This weekend, June 2nd and June 3rd, Plage Le Soleil will not only host the Ripcurl Pro Caravella Classic 2018 but also the Lords of the Board Festival 2018!
