I'm still working on the same region, 1 and half year later.

Greater Kaijo Area, now at 4.34 million people, almost a quarter of the 12.5 million people target. I'm working on the island on the upper left and soon, I will terraform the small peninsula above it to match land elevations.

What mod do you use for the terrain?

Here's that station, in case you're interested.  I know first hand it can be a pain trying to find particular stations:

And one other sunken station, which isn't as cantankerous as the previous:

The horror of hearing screams from tooth pulling has made it into SimCity.

Untitled.jpg

Nice looking BAT you have there.  It's definitely one that could be used in my cities.  Look forward to getting it.

Actually, having teeth yanked out doesn't hurt as much as did say 40 years ago.  I would know since I only have 14 teeth left and some of those are ready to go as well.  Roots start to decay and it slowly works it's way up to the surface.  Pain can be so intense, it feels like your roots are snapping in two.  Root canals couldn't save them, but I figure once they're all gone, no more toothaches.  Dentures will do me just fine.

Yo, Guys --

This is a bit "off-topic" -- and I do apologize --

BUT --

Can anyone FAMILIAR with the SimFox TRB Towers explain to me why they come in Pink, Orange, Yellow, and Purple -- and the only one that seems to grow is the Purple ??

I assume you've checked the readme (“This download includes two sets of LOTs identical in design, but differing in the way certain color variants of the tower are growing on them. Random color lots are just that - one lot per design with random color of the tower appearing on it. you have no control and it is game that picks it. Set colors means that there is one lot in each design per each and every color variant. This gives you possibility to exclude some colors from appearing by simply removing lots for unwanted variants. Lots are clearly named to pick ones you need” ; perhaps you have to choose between Random and Set ?

...or, assuming they are commercial buildings, one could always do a quick re-lot and make them ploppable. The player can then choose which model to plop.

I would assume that intersection's not supported by the TLA-5. Try connecting it with a road instead.

Here is the bite. :(

ATM the NWM diagonal intersections are not supported at all with other networks. So the road connection won't work either. Maybe in the future it gets more stability.

There are some one-tile diagonal NWM intersections that do work - however it is unsupported. I know TLA-3 has a lot done, and NRD-4 have some done.

Nevermind, I was thinking they had gotten bought out by Auto Zone, but it was Advance Auto that bought them out in 1998.

I can scan an old Western auto ad from the early 90s hopefully soon if you still want it. It will have what you want

      This park system combines three updated versions of previous park sets - Monument Park, Urban Gardens and White Sands Park. Mainly I wanted to create the possibility to lay out a good variety of parks, paths and gardens for any type of city - particularly with options for different path textures to be used on the same city tile. You can now have three very distinct park-styles in your city, each with its own character (layout, props, textures) - and you can mix and mingle them any which way you please... and even exchange or unify textures as you desire.

      This will enable you to use the paths, prefab parks, ends, transitions, addons and extensions of all three park sets in one glorious citywide park system.

      OVERVIEW

      * Three complete parksystems, each with a unique style, textures, props and individual pieces

      * A host of possible configurations - Narrow, Wide, Diagonal, Sweeping Curves, Ends, prefab Parks and more

      * New park 'Sidings' for realistic-looking transitions to your roads and avenues

      * Transitions between textures and/or sidewalks that can adapt to your preferred sidewalk textures and mods

      * The ability to exchange or unify the base textures on the fly to suit your taste

      * The option to mix and mingle sections of all three sets any which way you want

      * All items designed to create extended lawns to be enhanced with MMP flora of your choice

      * All items with consistent properties, descriptions and plop helpers, tightly arranged in your menus

      * A host of overlay textures and custom props to make your own matching lots

      * Peace of mind that future sets and addons will be made to match all of the above

      Please note that there is a more in-depth Online Documentation with lots of additional info and many images available as well.

      DEPENDENCIES

      * Paeng Texture Pack v103 (updated version Sep 2011!)

      * Murimk Props 02, v201 (updated version Sep 2011!)

      * BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol01

      * BSCBATPropsMattb325 Vol02

      * BSC MEGA Props - MJB Vol02

      * BSC MEGA Props - swi21 Vol01

      * BSC MEGA Props - D66 Vol02

      * Porkie Props Vol 01 and Vol 02

      * SPOT (Orientation Helpers)

      DEVELOPER NOTES

      The aim of this overhaul is to 'streamline' the park packs as far as dependencies, general layout and possible variations are concerned. The layout and appearance of the sets have been maintained as much as possible.

      Most of the pieces - including the new 'Sidings' - are layed out to give you nice spaces of well-groomed lawn that you can plant with your own choice of flora - bushes, shrubs, flowers and trees from your personal MMP collections.

      If you don't want to use any of the sidings, you can safely delete the respective subfile(s).

      If you want to exchange or unify any of the base textures, make sure to carefully read the separate instructions included with the 'Texture Changer 205' module (included, but packed separately).

      In episode #1, we kickstart the city by building up a small island and than looking to spread out our city in the next episode. We so far have began to build our skyline, and commercial districts and the iconic japan neon light street. Project Japan is a humble attempt to build a somewhat realistic looking Japanese city situated somewhere between Okayama and Kobe on the northern shore of the Harima-nada sea. Japanese city series are almost non-existent, perhaps because of the serious ack of Japanese themed assets on the workshop. Finding inspiration can be tricky. Therefore, revamps are to be expected throughout the series, as i get better at building Japanese cityscapes and/or new assets become available.

      For what I’m trying to accomplish, as far as I can tell, I should be using either SC4 Tool or the iLive Reader. I would like to be able to edit certain parameters of buildings in the game. For example, changing the radius for police, fire, education, etc. I would also like to change how much power is generated from power plants, how much water is generated by water pumps and towers, etc. Basically do everything (hopefully) that can be done in SimCity 3000 here.

      I’ve tried both SC4 Tool and iLive Reader but can’t seem to find the buildings I’m searching for. I’m truly starting from scratch and need some assistance on either of these programs. Any help is greatly appreciated!
