What is good when you have nothing to say is that you can always pretend to listen. Anyway it does not prevent to think!

His rendering system license arrangement expired.

He had a unique style -- simple but elegant -- with an excellent choice of colors, textures, and a landscaper's eye.  AND -- no one could "night-light" a building like he could !

And I have missed him every day he has been gone......

Very sorry he was stopped by the greed of corporate commercial envy. This highlites that certain bat  development only be posible in a team effort to ease the individuel financial strain of these licences. Happy the Imgur case was settled, still technical or commercial greed threaten our enjoyment of our cherished game unfortunately !

Some of the shop fronts I'm making for the 5th pack:

I like the "Chop Shop" -- it reminds me of the "Chop House" -- a restaurant I ran across in a nice little village somewhere a bit north of Bath.  Excellent food, elegant service, 1910 appearance, and very hospitable folks.  One of the finest dining experiences I ever had in Merry Olde England.

AND __ you get 50 points for the trivia pun -- "Arsenic & Old Lace" -- * *:thumb:

I didn't see a book seller -- and I always browsed every one I ever came across.  I sometimes had to buy a new suitcase just to get my book purchases home.  Britain is truly the home of naval subjects -- both  historical and historical fiction.

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

I'm going to try to make my water mod look as photorealistic as possible. It's going to be expensive to do and I don't know if I'll be able to do it, so wish me luck. ^_^

I'm going to buy this renderer since mentalray is obsolete for making a realistic ocean shader. *:D^_^

I think this is the final version.

I like the water MOD color -- very different -- yet appealing.  Would it vary in opacity with depth, like Brigantine?

AND -- keep me posted on the "rock face brush" idea......

This is a superb rock face cliff -- but the only way to currently get one is to configure the altitude and and gradient of the slope.  This will produce the slope needed for the rock face, but it does not allow you to vary the mix of different types of slopes.  However, a rock-face brush would allow you to to create a rocky face anywhere you wanted one -- and with a minimum alteration to the terrain and altitude.

Ta, Mate --

I'm curious about the wave animation. If we can get similar to at least Skylines, that'd be sick.

The rock is simply surreal in SC4. Would be better if we can get displacement map to the game.

Haha, thank you! I didn't include the screenshots but I'm making a few book shops for this pack too. And shop 148 in pack 2 contains a "Maritime Books"  which you might like - it's featured in the Cs$$ parade 10.

A quite big (and somewhat blocky) roundabout with prioritised pass for the main avenue (though I'm thinking on making the centre crossing bus-only).

Work has been carried out in recent weeks. The general idea has been planted. Now it needs to be fleshed out and brought to life.

Always love your shop fronts! Unfortunately it reminds me of how my town's highstreet and its independent stores are all but gone. But we do have 4 Greggs, two Subways and a Cash Converters!
