Were these the SFBT T Wrecks Diagonal Fillers? Something rings the bell definitely. If they were on LEX or SimcityKurier we can restore them for sure, but I need the exact name of the upload and preferably to creator so I can hunt it down more easily.

I found a couple of old pictures of those fillers, not sure if they are the same, would still be great to have them restored though*:thumb:

The lots shown on Sneaky's pictures are the SFBT Diagonal Filler Lots by T Wrecks mentioned by Tyberius06. I'm still not sure if those are the lots used by mitsos, but I can restore them here if necessary. Tyberius, if you are fine with that, I'll upload them as soon as possible.

I have the original download for the SFBT Diagonal Fillers, it is an installer program in German. I think this is a set that could use the zip treatment and be uploaded under either the SFBT account(which seems to be really the Andreas Roth account as most are under that though some other SFBT files have been released by others) so probably best to upload under TWrecks. imo

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

Having not played SC4 properly in years, rebuilding my Plugins (Which has been hard with SC4 being gone!) then finding my flashdrive of old plugins that has made it with me to the move to Europe + thanks to debussyman for having the Cathedral in his plugins, was afraid it was lost with SimCity Plaza being gone but it has been saved!

It ain't my city, but imo that beachside avenue needs some green and trees.

I'd replace it with one way roads with a strip of green running between them. You could plant whatever beach suitable trees you want on the green (Italian cypress trees, since you've got them near the beach already?)

IMO

Also I like the obelisk. It suits the surrounding buildings quite nicely.

I think the idea is to rehost as much as possible from the LEX at SC4E. I don't think I have seen these before so I would certainly +1 your request but I know that there is a lot of work involved and the process is not always fast. Luckily SC4 has been going for more than 20 years so we should learn to wait, most will happen in the end.

Aren't those by Mattb235 ? EDIT : er.  not answering the right post, I fear. :-)

I've been working on an upgrade query mod using Null45's DLL mods.  Finally released v1.0 earlier this morning. Here's some pictures:

663dc1635fc19_RCIDLLQuery-Commercial.jpg

663dc168907d2_RCIDLLQuery-Industrial.jpg

And my next project is frankly a bit daunting but I'm up to the challenge.  I'm going to fill in, as much as possible, the Census Repository query with the "missing" information that is now available with Null45's DLL mods:

Hope to get that out over the next week or so.  I suspect the harder part will not be adding the new stats, but incorporating a "hover over" information box like other parts of the Census Repository.

I believe there is a function that handles the UI part, you just need to assign a new 'Property' and link it by ID to an LText file containing the necessary data/variables.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

Yes, that's true.  I've learned a lot about Query modding ever since I worked on the new RCI DLL Query Mod.  The census repository is a big gigantic query, really.  I've already started work on it and it's not so bad.  One other thing I might also do here in addition to adding the missing stats is to replace the existing Census Repository I-Ag Cap calculation with the new DLL query.  In the Census Repository, RippleJet (or RalphaelNinja) used a function to calculate I-Ag's Cap Status.  But Null45's DLL does it by pulling the code from the game directly (I think, not exactly sure how the magic of his new variables is created).  My new RCI DLL Query uses I-Ag Cap from the DLL, and so far I haven't found a distinction between that and the Census Repository calculation.  [Edit: Null45 already did this in his CR patch in SC4DemandInfo.  Sorry about that!]

It's awesome that these existing tools can still be updated with new info from the DLL mods.  Pretty fun modding them too.

I surprised myself today and decided to just get the new Census Repository working.  Once I started, it was easy to keep going.  It includes all possible information now, as well as hover-over tooltips for the new info as well.  The only other thing I'm considering doing is adding "N/A" (Not applicable) for the CS cap column to inform newbies that Commercial Services do not have caps (I'm open to suggestions on that).  Here's a preview:

663ef9516f510_CensusRepository-3.jpg.ce390c7a51cbf028c52a273bf7d24731.jpg

Not sure how to upload this though.  This uses Null45's DLL patches, and of course builds off of the existing Census Repository as well as Null45's initial patch for it to show CS demands (although I noticed an error in the patched Query that prevented showing CS$ demand).  One other thing is, the Census Repository was also patched by Cori to fix the Neutral Tax Rate.  So to get a working Census Repository that shows all info, you'd need to download the original, download Cori's Neutral Tax Rate patch, download Null45's Sc4MoreDemandInfo DLL (which includes a patched census repository query), and then download my version which overwrites both the original and Null45's patch.  I'd be nice if there was an option to download the "most latest version" of the Census Repository.

I have no issue bundling my patch with any or all others, so long as I am credited.  Otherwise, should I just upload it?

Well, I was looking for a nice meditrenean not to large looking modular park for my Italy install base 2x3 or 1x3 1x2 pieces maybe combine with some other features like gazebo or fountains or tree/bush patches. Last maybe at center a borgia villa or so ! This looked nic as not to flamboyant, sand or gravel path fit into the theme. Preperation, future another italian region Lazio is very attractive with Rome, Purugia, Asti maybe next !

Sincerely yours,

Kschmidt

I'm currently working on a set of community gardens, as sort of a supplement to the default Maxis community gardens (they come in sizes 1x1, 1x2, 2x1, and 2x2). I'm using mostly SG's crops on the fields because I can randomize them pretty easily and they take up much space, which means the lots aren't very prop-heavy. Although they have a bit of a disadvantage: SG's props are semi-seasonal, which means, they change their appearance over time.

And there's the point where I need a bit of help from you: Does anyone know how to deal with lots with semi-seasonal props (not flora!)? Seasonal flora needs to be planted on always the same month, is this the same case with semi-seasonal props? Does the changing cycle of these props start with the day the lots using them have been plopped, or do they just follow the starting date property?

CG_Scr.jpg.684ffc37eb5afd979b26759a9126f648.jpg

I'm no scientician so I have no idea about seasonal props or anything like that, but I would find ten thousand and one places to use those lots in my cities.

IIRC seasonal props are different than flora and will only appear during their specified date range, regardless of when you plop it. When you plop is not relevant for props. When you first plop the lot it's likely no seasonal props will appear; just fast forward the game time and the props will appear at the next trigger date. I've seen this being a source of confusion for some lots in the past, so it might be worth including a little message with your upload. *;)
