The landmark of the Museum of Work in Hamburg.
The shield boring machine TRUDE, an acronym for Tief Runter Unter Die Elbe (deep down under the Elbe.)
The cutting wheel from TRUDE in "Mixshield technology" - with five spokes that can be accessed from the inside for the first time to replace the cutting tools and an independently controllable center cutter under the groundwater table was developed by Herrenknecht from Schwanau and weighs 380 tons alone.

Aw, don't get me wrong. You've made an incredible job to make your BAT less like a cake and more like an epic fantasy structure. The roof of the building with the castle looks so glorious and I can't wait to see it completed :D

By the way, the more I look at it, the more it reminds me the intro of Civilization III.

@mattb325

MAGNIFICENT -- !!

The color and texture combinations are both pleasing to the eye and so very realistic...

And your night-lighting technique continues to amaze me -- leaps & bounds ahead of other models !!

In Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed.  But they produced Michael Angelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, and The Renaissance.

In Switzerland, they had brotherly love and five hundred years of peace.  And what did that produce?

The cuckoo clock !

It's getting less cake-y. I assume you'll be coating it with a nice grunge frosting.

this will be amazing to have in SC4   there are some LOTR files  available on this exchange so maybe there will be renewed interest in recreating Middle Earth in SC4

I am currently working on this building. I don't like the modern part at all.
I once marked the painted, gray areas in green. The glass surfaces in red.
The whole thing also has dark gray window frames.
I've tried a few textures but it always looks dreary and bleak.
Anyone have an idea for textures?

I think dreary & bleak is perfect for this building   we need that type of look (in some areas)for added realism for this game    thanks for all your work

@Dreadnought Hey, congratulations in your project. It is looking awesome.

I really liked your realistic approuch in this city, I usually do this too. In fact, our styles look pretty similar.

Keep going, I would like to see some more of your city building!

Dear serj99999,

Thank you for encouraging me, Before that my friend Steve @thecitiescenter told me that there was a lot Argonath from SC4D, Gates of kings, And I want to model some Hobbit's village houses as well, I will be very excited to rebuild Tolkien's world in SimCity, :}May I ask that could you give me some clues of LOTR files which you mentioned on the exchange. Thank you.

Sincerely,

-- Raymond
