The tower on it's own looked a bit bizarre, but it looks OK with the surrounding complex (I've taken heaps and heaps of liberties with this). It's something a little different, at any rate. 

 

Crazy what you've been able to churn out in 24 hours. Consistently high-quality, must-have stuff. Love the details in the plaza and the reflection of the theater building in the glass. Those little triangular planters are a great addition, too! Thanks for your focus on mid-rises lately. They're sorely needed.

What am I working on? 

Well,...I just followed the getting started guide to BATting. Game patched(thought I had done this, but nope). Everything patched and done in proper order. Tested out, by importing a 3DS. model, Using BAT into Gmax and did a preview render and it worked okay. LOD's caused it to render a big black tower sized render, with a tiny white spec of a building in the bottom center, haha! 

I can fix this, since I read EVERYTHING @Jasoncw has posted in the guide/FAQ.

I certainly hope to post something nice looking and unique soon. I tend to procrastinate some..... Wish someone could beat me with a virtual, 'get busy stick' every weekend, lol.

Longstone Lighthouse is an active 19th century lighthouse located on Longstone Rock in the outer group of the Farne Islands off the Northumberland Coast, England.

Slooowly but surely. Next phase on SM2 Longstone Lighthouse is done. Still got a few windows and doors plus a few other details to complete. Those rusty bins at the far right, are fuel tanks made to feed the power generators for the lighthouse.

Notable changes so far:

• Phase-out of natural gas in Cameran (10,000 MWh / month) and replacement with waste biofuel generation (25,000 MWh/month). Population and economic growth have resulted in a three-fold problem: rapid depletion of the small natural gas field under Lake Cameran, more unmet power demand and a rapid growth of biodegradable wastes (food, wood, paper, landscaping, agriculture, sewage). The new facility addresses all three problems at once.
• Wind power growth nearing completion (95,400 / 109,800 MWh/month), with the recent addition of the Aldemar Wind Farm (9,000 MWh / month) and Alba Wind Farm (21,600 MWh/month). Only pending project in this front is the Zacien Wind Farm (14,400 MWh/month), strengthening of the power grid in this area responds to rapid growth of Alba, Brandt, steady growth of Zacien and Silurum, and a projected explosive growth associated with the future Kingdom of Rota International Airport.
• Hydroelectricity growth nearing completion (450,000 / 480,000 MWh/month), with the latest projects being the Lake Diamond-Lake Silver hydro transfer project (30,000 MWh/month) and the only remaining project being the already approved Lake Silver-East Irrigation District project (30,000 MWh/month). There was another hydro project which instead faced cancellation, the Imbin River Scheme, located between Imbin and Yampin. This represents 60,000 MWh/month that won't be built.
• Grand aspirations for solar photovoltaics growth (22,800 MWh/month) and the inclusion of solar thermal power (70,000 MWh/month) into the power mix. Successful implementation in Yampin and Grokus, two locales with relatively low solar irradiance, bring promise to the upcoming major sites located in the sunnier lowland areas.
• Overall diversification of the power grid to reduce dependence on hydroelectricity, with significant growth in solar, biofuel, wind and geothermal sources. Completion of the 2nd Power Grid Plan would result in reduction of hydroelectricity to less than half of the total generation. Additionally, the grid is becoming increasingly sustainable and eco-friendly with the complete exclusion of fossil fuels, storage in both batteries and pumped hydroelectricity and reduction of transmission losses by distributing the generation more evenly across the region.

Zürich Botanical Gardens Facade update 08 !

Always wanted to use Jon Far corner buildings I tried a setup at the edge of the botanical gardens area !

For the front I used the standard FAR pieces. FAR I do have those side far pieces  there supose to be some filler pieces ? Back I used the dragable FAR aswell mind the gap !

This is a bit off-topic, but --

It was just announced that Terri Jones, of the infamous "Monty Python's Flying Circus", has died at age 77.

The "Pythoners" brought a new and earth-shaking brand of comedy / satire that changed the world of comedy forever, and for the better.

As Michael Caine often said -- "Alotta people don't know..." all of the Pythoners were highly educated and had degrees from prestigious universities in either Law, History, or English language.

Long may his memory be enshrined by the "roll on the floor" laughter he brought us.

This morning, the World is a sadder place......

P.S. -- Could somebody (possibly @mattb325) come up with some sort of tourist attraction dedicated to Monty Python for the game ?

Four stories, in some sort of odd shape suitable to "Pythoners", with an equally silly facade -- and maybe, just maybe -- a huge golden statue of a seated cat in the forecourt next to the street.
