About This File

ATTENTION: If you have downloaded this file AND my Nelson Tower file before 2014, you may have noticed a glitch in which the wrong building shows up on the lot. This was caused due to a shared building ID between the two buildings and can be remedied by downloading the new Nelson Tower here

100 Washington Square is a 332-foot (101m) tower in Downtown Minneapolis, MN. It was designed by Minoru Yamasaki (of WTC fame) and completed in 1981.

This SC4 version sits on a 2x4 lot and has 3410 CO$$ jobs. Both growable and ploppable lots are included.

Night scenes come in both Maxisnite and Darknite varieties. The Darknite scene requires Simfox's mod available here. Download and install only one of the two varieties at a time.

The CAM lots included in this upload require the Colossus Addon Mod.

Enjoy!

UPDATE 7-2-19: Added an additional non-CAM growable lot. Thanks to @Tyberius06 for pointing this out! :)

I have lived near Minneapolis and visited there many times and you are spot on with the building. 5 out o5! Great job!

I am wondering if anyone else is getting issues... as it is the 'nelson tower' lying perpendicular on a generic asphalt lot, that shows up either plopped or grown... downloading again maybe there was a 'glitch' remedied by new load-up...

Jack, I've heard a couple different people mention having that issue so I'm pretty sure something's wrong with the file. Apparently the building has the same ID as Nelson Hall, so I'm probably gonna update Nelson Hall rather than 100 Washington since it doesn't take as long to export.

I just came to realise that I never even commented this upload. First of all, I'm glad the conflict has been fixed. As for the building itself, it may be a depressing concrete monolith with loophole windows and the charm of a bag of cement, but that's just what makes it so realistic and useful. After all, a city mostly isn't all beautiful and elegant steel-and-glass architecture or picturesque historical rowhouses.

The quality of this BAT is really amazing - flawless modeling and good texturing job, which is supposed to mean something seeing how the building is basically all grey! Only the roof of the tech penthouse still has a slightly cell-shaded/cartoonish look to it IMO, but that's easy enough to overlook. I think what I like best this time are the night lights. They look so real! :golly:

This is also the building known as One Government Center in Toledo, Ohio

Dang, you're right. I just looked it up.

Is it safe to assume that this is a CAM lot?  Reader says this bat is growth stage 10. Thought RH only had 8 growth stages?

I don't have CAM, but if I just plopped this building (Extra Cheats), would it still work?
