Working on a new Fortified Town. Eventually this town is planned to become an important local hub and as such will grow beyond the city walls.

Thanks for this answer. Then, for now, I'll put that request on hold. Nice to know that more updates regarding diagonal NWM are coming. This was also a request I had (I got quite a lot requests). Thanks for all the hard work!

This the University Campus in one of my cities, next to the stadium. It consists of the old part and the new part. Here is the old part, in classical style. This is the new part made of all kind of styles. This is the transportation part with some garages, busstops and a trainstation. During weektimes mainly occupied by the campus, in the weekends used for the stadium.

Continuing the Farm landscape project...

So, the idea is to build a city from a fortress old town part as seen much in Europe. If there are suggestions about good Fortress lots, let me know! I started with the harbor and the fortress itself. They are the base on which the town is located. Next step was raising the city walls. Next I started with the walls itself to decide the look I wanted. I also raised the fortress to blend in with the wall and created the openings for the portals. Next step adding the typical spikes you see in these kind of defensive structures along with the moot. Still a lot of work to do!

#20yearsSC4 Challenge - Infrastructure Madness
JBM replied to Ulisse Wolf's topic in SC4 Challenges - Info and Discussion
Hello all, hereby I'll show you my add for this competition for the SEAPORT element. Though time is scarce lately and therefore the cities are not complete (yet), i am happy with the three harbors I created. I'll start with SEAPORT B, inspiration: old harbor section of SINGAPORE This is the overview: it contains 4 sea parts. - far right is a small section of the containter terminal, but more of that in SEAPORT C - Down central: the Dirty Harbor. (No one knows exactly what happens there, and nobody wants to know basically) - Down left: Beach area - Central: Downtown with the Old Harbor. This is where the city started many centuries ago and was the first harbor. Close Up of the Dirty Harbor Second Close Up Dirty harbor Beach Area Downtown Old Harbor There are still the three old factories from Western powers that wanted to trade. They never got to colonise, but were allowed to open a trade factory. These buildings still exist. There is a Dutch , Spanish and English factory Next post: SEAPORT C, the container port- 25 Replies

This is Northern Manufacturing Inc. Its with 7000 jobs the biggest jobsupplier in the local area. This is the overall factory Main entrance area. Nothing comes in unnoticed as corporate secrets have be kept secret. The big building is corporate and R&D. The factory needs a lot of oils and lubricants which they receive mainly by train. Here you see the main factory building and non-liquid supply buildings. The silver building is the factories own firedepartment

A small update, not much time lately, and it is quite time consuming work. Btw, thanks for the compliments and advices, makes it worth the effort!

Thanks @Cyclone Boom for the advices, I already have some Ideas for these in my region. I decided with this city to make it in a dutch/german 17th/18th cdentury style as you still see a lot i these countries if a city came out unharmed out of ww2. Probably be using a lot of stuff from @Haarlemmergold For now I took a look at the post war outskirts of Tilum, the waterflow and rural scenes. Turning it into this so far:

Thanks for the reply! It definitively works as an inspirator. My main problem is, as you mention, filling the gaps realistically. I will use the link you sended, have been looking for something lke that, cause I find it hard to find MMP's. When I continue with this project i will upload the progress.
