  1. Glenni's BAT Viking Homestead

    Nice failures dude
  2. Maloskero's Brazilian BAT's

I should have known that this was W.I.P and so that you simply had mirrored the clock tower to go into the details later... Sorry for that About the R$$ houses : nice stuff so far ! It reminds me the photos my sister showed me when she came back from Argentina where she lived for some months. It seems to be a very common type of buildings in south america... You did them right enough ordinary, and right enough detailed and particular to make an excellent tileset imo
  3. Great to see you back These poplar trees in particular are inspiring (for me at least), as it would offer an alternative to the great Orange's poplar to align along the rural roads and pathways and to put into riparian forests, anywhere poplars are common... To go into endless floral variations
  4. Krasner B.A.T. thread

Hi there, I'm starting way too much projects without finishing them, bye. ... More seriously, I've always wanted to make some 19th century forts for my cities, I attempted to make a few with various retaining walls and a bunch of trees that weren't that convincing at all. And the late Kbieniu7 entry about the forts around Krakow just gave me the push to BAT my own path away. IN A MODULAR WAY AGAIN. I made a first piece based on Fort de Feyzin achieved in 1877. I had a hard time to make the lawn on the roof look acceptable... That's a side project I started for my own use at fisrt really, so I don't know where that will lead to and even less when and how that may come out Still, I have some ideas for other pieces. I'll see that.
  5. Glenni's BAT Viking Homestead

Lovelly model, always needed Very, very nice to see you back
  6. Krasner B.A.T. thread

@Bastet69008 Thx So the five numbers at the end of your nickname certainly stand for what I guess ? @Girafe Thx you too ! @matias93 Thx ! That's fun to hear that as Mangini made his fortune into railway lines basically
  7. Pretty good :3 Freestyle and prepared texts, in both French and English
  8. Show us What you're Working On

First version finally exported, as an experiment for variations to come... And I'm into lotting right after that
  9. SuperPaths Pathway Textures

Great I will use them for sure !
  10. The city where you live

I found some early-80's photos on an archive website, of the small business district ("la Part-Dieu) in the city where I live currently (Lyon, France). I thought it looks interesting actually, the place didn't change much except that some new skyscrapers were built and that the "urban-freeway-bunch-of-spaghetti" visible on some of the pictures got partly destroyed and got replaced by more peaceful solutions with traffic lights. One of the multiple pedestrian concrete bridges going over the freeways and avenues. Basically the neighboorhood, conceived in the late 60's and build in the 70's, was replacing a huge military base that got surrounded by the city through the years. The pedestrians were supposed to come and go through a network of terraces and bridges, constituting the "level 1". "Level 0" was the ground level and was dedicated only to road traffic. Most of the bridges were destroyed during the 2000's, but the terraces are still here. The huge building in the middle, covered with cars is a shopping mall
  11. "Scoty Modular Airport" project

@hugues aroux I see that... Bah pourquoi pas We'll see that later ok ?
  12. "Scoty Modular Airport" project

@hugues aroux Making whole big BATs may be time-consuming, and I'm quite slow at BATing in fact. But some props, why not ? Let me know what you need, and we could discuss about that. I already made a few props for an other project from Sciurus, assisting his views about some railroad needs with station platform elements and some small rail-traffic-related buildings (not published yet). That was fun. I can't promise about my help, it depends of many aspects But let me know
  13. I was rummaging on ytb and I found out an old russian coldwave group from the Soviet era. And it's quite cool and interesting in fact
  14. "Scoty Modular Airport" project

I didn't notice this thread before Really nice work so far ! Thoroughness in your textures is very appreciable ! I love it :3
  15. Show us What you're Working On

    @Dreadnought Nice thing ! I didn't knew about harishna's work, seems great
  16. Krasner B.A.T. thread

@art128 I always do that normally... But once in a while, I simply forget it :'( Thank you, anyway
  17. New upload on TSC, it seems...

    Have fun !

  18. Krasner B.A.T. thread

New upload on TSC https://www.toutsimcities.com/downloads/view/3316 Allright... I tried to upload this on Simtropolis as well, I added a bunch of images, I even wrote a small information text about Félix Mangini, rich industry boss and private real-estate developer who was a pioneer in the idea of the low-income, pre-designed, adaptable and "ford-ish" workers housing complexes. And I got killed by the infamous expired-page syndrom, as always. It got me edgy, then nervous and depressed, so I gave up. Never mind, here are some more images and the portrait of this geniune, mighty opulent man... I hope you like them, have fun with it. It's full-HD as always, and this time I even added six custom props. Read-me in both French and English, spelling errors in French and potatoe English included. And that's all, here you go Don't forget that there are some dependencies, linked in the download page. This time it's exactly the same dependencies than in my Suburban Dream pack vol.1 - so if you already have it, no need to get anything else.
  19. Maloskero's Brazilian BAT's

Wow, great stuff ! I'm so happy to see you back to work That's a small detail and it's hardly noticeable, but the texture you used for the wide cornice at the top of the bell towers seem to be the same but reversed, it doesn't seem very natural (same for the clocks). I would've used a single texture for each. Despite that, great, just great
  20. Mosaics & Bonus Pictures

My, how MANY custom buildings did you exported for that Venice scene ? You're mad
  21. A Special Christmas Present

Just great Thanks a lot !

For Christmas Eve I wanted to offer something to the community and this small bridge, which was sleeping finished for a while in my plugins appeared to be the best thing to share It's located quite low in the parks menue and normally the icon I choose makes it easy to find. It stands on a 1X1 blank, offset lot. It doesn't require any dependency Merry Christmas
  23. Show us What you're Working On

    Slowly making progress on this...
  24. It is. Perfect thing for Christmas Eve :3
  25. What are you reading?

I'm slowly going back to reading, as I have still lots of time for myself for a few weeks, then I'll have to get a shitty interesting job. And as usual I go into several books by the same time xD Currently, I'm into Discipline and Punish (Foucault), Our Lady of the Flowers (Genet) and The Songs of Maldoror I wanted to read for so long. The fisrt one seriously, during the day, the second one at night and the third one in the bus xD
