Hello, rsc204.
First of all i would like to thank you for all the tireless afford and help you are giving to the SimCity community.
I have some queries, which i want to clarify from you specially.
1. Can i keep both the camified version and the original version of the lot file together in plugins (Except the model file which is required on every condition)?
2. Some CAM version installation required that i remove the original file with the help of cleanitol before installing camified version of the file. May be its necessary to keep the plugins in well condition.
3. Will it be a major issue if i first downloaded and installed the original version of some file, than find some CAM version of them and install it without removing the originals. Example: building lots from "Cobb" (which i downloaded from simtropolis). Later i found the CAM installation of those lots at the SC4 devotion in one single installer called : A complete set of all 19 lots by cobb32118 that have been updated to be CAMpatible.
I hope i expressed my queries properly to you and hope to get your valuable reply on this.

My problem with all the COBB building i took i do not actually get a building I get a space with red, green, and blue mark in the middle i thought you only got those when you were missing some dependencies well Cobbs buildings do not have any dependencies

It you somehow got the SC4 Model, but no textures, the same would happen. Can you check is the whole model these coloured test patterns in every zoom and every rotation? I’ll try to check the file in question too.

DOES High TRAFFIC NOISE is one of the core reason for building Abandonment ?? Other than my Commute time, school grade, hospital grade, Crime rate and land value is perfect.

Great to have your acknowledgement regarding this, i appreciate that highly. My last queries: However instead of renaming Simcity_1.dat to .BAK i just simply moved it from plugins SimCity_1 folder in some other drive, i hope this is what you meant by keeping it safe somewhere else. Hence the Simcity_1 folder in plugins now only have one file '"z_CAM_2.1.0_Stand_Permanent Merge.dat". Also do i have to retain the folder "Simcity_1" with the file '"z_CAM_2.1.0_Stand_Permanent Merge.dat" in it - in the plugins???? (Amateur question again but it will clear the fog from my mind permanently as i am about to install huge amount of other plugins later).

rsc204: Thank you very much for your earlier reply. I am just afraid whether I am misplacing a "SimCity_1.dat" core file with another. I would like to describe the steps below how I am installing the whole CAM thing, so by that you can directly point out weather I am going wrong or not ( I will try my best to be brief): 1. After installing a fresh game with fresh NAM, I installed SC4_datpacker with three of its minions I mean the .dll files. And the application opens perfectly. 2. I start installing CAM with regular instructions & error – Sc4_datpacker failure to update. And instruction to place the Simcity_1.dat in plugins Simcity_1 folder manually from core installed directory. After that instruction the installation finishes with saying "the CAM has been installed successfully in your PC" as I continued ignoring the errors because it lets me continue the installation process. 3. After completion of installation, in the Outside of plugins a folder name “Original SimCity Files” created and inside plugins “a_CAM” folder and the “Simcity_1” folder created automatically, with their usual files inside these folders which are describe below: Original SimCity Files: SimCity Application file & Simcity_1.dat a_CAM: Usual 2 folders name a_core & core buildings. Simcity_1: z_CAM_2.1.0_Stand_Permanent Merge.dat 4. Now I copy the "Simcity_1.dat" to "Simcity_1 Folder" with existing z_CAM_2.1.0_Stand_Permanent Merge.dat in the plugins from the core installed directory (which is in my other drive) where four other numbers of .dat file are present. 5. Now I start Sc4_datpacker (force repacking option in the packer not checked) and select the “simcity_1.dat” files shown in the list. There’s also a_cam folder in the list in case it matters. The process completes by creating the "plugins_compressed folder” in the plugins folder with new simcity_1.dat file in it. 6. If i understood correctly you told me to move that newly created "simcity_1.dat" to the core installed directory and hence replacing with existing one there which I moved early to plugins “Simcity_1 folder” for sc4datpacking. (This is the only time I override “Simcity_1.dat” in the whole process or should I???). 7. After that I remove the folder. I hope I have rest my case properly to you. I would appreciate your valuable reply on this. I apologize for giving you so much trouble. Also please let me know how I would understand that the CAM is installed properly during the game play in first hand and last but not least when during the process to rename the “Simcity_1.dat” in plugins “simcity_1 folder” to .bak.

rsc204: Which original location can you please tell me mention in your no. 5 step : 1. Outside of the plugin folder which folder name "original SimCity files" OR 2. Inside plugin folder - " SimCity_dat" both folders also have SimCity_dat. file. And I appreciate all the help you are giving us through your restless reply.

CorinaMarie: During the process of installation even after sc4datpacker fails to update SimCity_1 file the installer give me choice weather to continue with installation or quiet it. As I continued, the process finishes and in the end it says you have successfully installed CAM. To be more specific, in your Solution in 5.b its been said the installer will fail and rather than quitting it nothing else will happen but in my case the installer ask me whether I would like to continue with installation or quiet it. as I press continue then again another message arises which says you need to merge the file SimCity_1 from the original and so on (you know the rest). and finally the installation process completed and says " you have successfully completed CAM". So how did it happen? as I failed to comply with the sc4datpacker.

Hellow InvisiCam. Thank you for your effort on creating Latest CAM. I have a issue regarding installation of CAM. During CAM installation is "SC4DatPacker" is essential or can I just ignore it? Coz Still the installation completes after ignoring and CAM is working in the game. Also the installer during installation ask to override/Merge the original dat file SimCity_1.dat with the existing file on that particular folder. which I did. The thing is does all this activities is happening naturally? or do I just doing something wrong. I hope I addressed the issue properly for your valuable reply. Please enlighten me.

Please Help NAM Team : First, 1. I have made a fresh installation of NAM 36. No previous version present in my computer. 2. I don't have any conflicting plugins as i don't have any. 3. Installation is great and UN-interrupted. traffic configuration tools also installed. 4. Latest JAVA installed in my windows 10, 64 bit PC. Now the Problem i am facing: 1. 4 Way avenue intersection signs/texture or any other road intersections not showing/working.(which comes through NAM) 2. Many options are showing in the list but not working which comes by installing NAM. Like Roundabout. Whenever i try to apply a roundabout specially avenue roundabout, it shows in the list but i cant apply it. IT SHOWS BLANK when i try to apply, more like a blank square. (even most common NAM features are there for choosing but can't be apply). Lastly, I have played SimCity 4 deluxe/rush hour with early NAM version and with lots of other plugins few years back. I just started playing again and I was so excited to find NAM 36 version. but i never faced situation like this. i tried re-installing NAM with custom and complete installation but the problem persist. PLEASE HELP..........................! (I got a GOG version 1.1.641 of the game)- 905 Comments

first of all, its a great building period. that's why i always try to build us bank center building almost in my all city. however i am facing a weird problem with that. sometime after saving and re entering the game the building seems disappear with nothing but open paved area like plaza remains................! and i am confident i am not missing any dependencies...................please help me......!

first of all, this is one of the best residential building in simtropolis no doubt. but i am facing difficulties growing it. i have great environment, low traffic noise, high mayor approval, high school grade, high hospital grade and short commute time. also out of desperation i even used plomatic 9000 for this fine building to grow..............but still no result. can anybody tell whats going on.................(yah landmark is available but i need the growing one).
