  1. LaFayette Square homes St Louis

These are going to feature everywhere in my 19th century districts!!! Thank you!
  2. Show us What you're Working On

I think it's perfect!! Will you do color variations?
  3. Show us What you're Working On

Nice!! Can I sugest a "dirtier" or maybe slightly darker texture for the roof? Of course, it already looks awesome and I can't wait to see more of your creations!! It is always great to see you back, man, but it's even better when you bring something like this
  4. Show us What you're Working On

YESS!!!! I've even been thinking about learning to BAT myself to make some of these. Fantastic!! If you need house models for inspiration or reference, I'd be happy to help

I don't really know a lot about batting but it's looking really good. I guess it just needs a bit more work on making the textures less clean and maybe adding more roof junk. Keep on batting and I hope we can see some of your models on the STEX sometime!!

I believe @matias93 requested araucarias some time ago, I don't know if he ever convinced someone to make them. And while we're on the topic of trees, I'll just leave some jacarandas over here....
  8. Mexico

I can see my house on one of those panoramics!! Amazing work as always. The city shots are spot on, the nature shots really show the variety of ecosystems we have and the Cathedral shot is just stunning!
  9. BAT Request Thread

Let's see if I can gain the favour of the BAT gods with this offering: El Palacio de Hierro department store in Mexico City (location) Liverpool department store, also in Mexico City, right across the street (location):
  10. Show us your City Transit Maps!

Bumpity bump! Trying out the new SC4 Cartographer for the region I've been working on for I don't know how long: The financial center city tile: The central district (WIP still): And the complete region view:
  11. Show us your Oddities!

Ahhh crap!!, forgot my phone upstairs
  15. Show us What you're Working On

I've been working on this since the quarantine started: A latin american historic downtown inspired by Mexico City. I finally felt like there was enough variety of BATs available to attempt it without ending up with something extremely repetitive.
  16. Art Deco BATs

I can't beleive I hadn't found this thread! How about brazlilian Art Deco? Also, there's some nice examples on this pack:
  17. Hi Simtropolitans! I'm upgrading my 5 year old laptop soon, and I would like to know what specs would be good for handling SC4 with up to 3gb of plugins and on hardware mode, if possible. I currently have a 2.4 Ghz Intel Core i3 CPU, with 4 GB of RAM and a NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M GPU. I can run the game just fine, but lately I tend to only play medium sized city tiles, without an HD terrain mod or a custom tree controller, and with shadows and automata turned off; I also use an "Endless summer mod" by Twrecks to limit seasonal trees and save on some performance. However, an HD terrain mod is not a necessity on my book. I know modern hardware can handle this game just fine, but I've heard some GPUs like some basic Intel ones are problematic. For the price range I'm on, I'll most likely end with a similar CPU and GPU, and with a similar amount of RAM, I guess I mainly want to know about the graphics card. Also, I don't know about AMD processors and GPUs, since I've never had a computer with one. Thanks in advance!

Ohhh man, I can't wait to have this one!! And it's really cool that you recreated the original design!!
  19. Hi! I'm trying to update the regional view of my city tiles but they all save with different definition, you can see it by comparing the tiles to the north and southeast. The tile in the bottom right corner is the worst offender. I've tried saving the city in all zoom levels, using the floppy disc icon. My graphic settings are all on high with the exception of cars and shadows, I run hardware rendering and a custom resolution. Any idea how I can harmonize all the tile overviews?
  20. I'll try that! It has to be the tile because when I opened and saved the adjacent one, that thumbnail didn't have any problem whatsoever
  21. Dealing with 'weedy' lots

Well, those two are closely related. And you can actually modify both at the same time with PIM-X, so you could give it a try
  22. Actually, you don't even need to rezone, just demolish, unless you wanna change the lot's footprint ofc.
  23. I'm surprised to see Reader can open and write over a save file without anything bad happening! But... when I resaved the city, the thumbnail still looked blurry Hey, that might be a good idea, maybe I have something running in the background, I usually open the game after I'm done working so it could be a lack of RAM
  24. So, no dice. I imported the city tile to another region (something I planned to do anyway) and the issue still persisted. I also did the thing when you switch focus while saving to purposefully create the glitch where the city thumbnail disappears (I made a backup, ofc) I then saved again and it still looks blurry, whatever the season is. Only thing left is to manually remove the PNG to see if it resets and hope the save file doesn't corrupt in the process. If it doesn't work I might just let it be because I wouldn't know what else to do
  25. Show us Your Interchanges!

As @Tyberius06 pointed out, they were already on NAM 36, as part of the new flexible turning lanes. I find them extremely useful for urban expressways that lead to secondary roads. I tried experimenting with Real Expressway but so far it doesn't support OWR3 ramps or splits, only one and two lane OWR ramps EDIT: Oh, and here's a tutorial that helped me learn how to use them:
