Hello. I am frustrated and this is my final attempt. I had Win 8.1 before and I was playing very well until that stupid patch from Microsoft came in and I couldn't play SC4 again. I Upgraded to Win 10 and I knew that the problem was still going to be present so I swallow my pill and went and bought a digital version of SC4 (which I read that since you don't have to use a CD for that, the problem will go away. NOT!. I install the game and I can't even make it to run at all. I tried the extension for the ,exe (-audio:off -d:soft -intro:off -f -CustomResolution:enabled -r1920x1080x32) and now it tells me that it is not valid, that I should make sure that the filename and path are correct. What else can I do? I saw Sim City 5 for $7.50 on amazon as a digital download. I'm afraid that I will not be able to play that one as well.

OK, I think this has been posted before, but here I go. I just bought a new computer and a new monitor. I spend more than $1200. The PC that I had before it was not working and it has Win 7 with 3 Gigs of RAM, my old video card was a GeForce 5200, before my DVD drive went kaput, I was barely playing SC4, it was slow and it froze constantly. Well, I got this new HP with Win 8, 10 Gigs of RAM, an AMD 6 core processor with 3.90 Ghz and an internal Graphic Card AMD Radeon HD 7570 with 2 gigs of SDRAM. With these specs it should run SC4 with no problems at all, Right? well, it doesn't even start! I've tried all the solutions I found on the internet. Run in WinXP SP3 Mode, Update the card driver, Run in 640 resolution, the CPU count trick and nothing. I read the Min specs on the box (I bought the SimCity Box bundle last year, the one that comes with SC4, Societies and Snap City) and lo and behold, the min card for the Radeon Family is the 9800 or greater. How is it possible that SC4 can run (slowly) on an inferior card that can not even handle HD on YouTube? Did I miss something or am I doomed to play SC4 forever? I won't return my PC because I can not play a certain game, but I will be very disappointed if my days of SC4 are gone forever. Thanks for any help.

I remember a long time ago, there was a Modular Zoo and Aquarium pack on the STEX. What happened to it? The only thing I can find is an Add-on from aldara6166 but nothing else. I had that one before, but my computwer caught a virus and I had to reformat my HD, so I'm trying to re-download everything or mostly everything back. I know there's a Zoo from BLAM on the STEX, but that one is a single lot. I look also on SC4 Devotion but couldn't find anything. Did those files were taken down from the STEX and LEX?
