Hi guys, Its been a while since I posted (phew~) . Im just wondering if any of you guys whom have used this mod by nekopunch and experienced anything weird about the road street lights. I'm currently having a problem with the lights as they are way to bright on the roads. Another problem also seems to some kind of conflict with the mod with the road in the residential zone illuminating in what seems to be blue and yellow colours and default maxis street lights showing when it sohuld just the LRM poles. I'm not sure what the conflict is however and hoping if I could find what it is. Here's an image of what I mean: I also noted that in the readme the mod said it wasn't completed and probably will never be, so im not sure if this is either a problem or not. Anyway, any help is appreciated!

A plugin doesn't show up in the game.

Unfortunately I had no luck as I did as what rsc204 suggested. Here's how I had my loading order set up. I think it's unlikely that loading order may be the problem as other junctions such as road x raod work fine. Its just the avenue crossing in the OP. Has anyone ran into this issue before?
-
Thanks for the response rsc204, that's right, I remembered how the z changed the loading order and made mods load I believe first? (If I'm not mistaken and remember back) but I totally forgot about the underscore and how it changes loading order as well. Thanks so much for the reminder and your help. And a happy new year to you as well.

Kids in Spain's primary schools get three hours of homework?
Kiiroitori replied to A Nonny Moose's topic in Current Events
Interesting, as a high school student my self (currently at my final year). I currently aim to do atleast two hours of study a night. However, I read that if want a very high exit score (atleast a high ATAR (I'm talking 99.95 here) in Australia - don't know about OP in Queensland, probs the same), you would aim to atleast do 4 hour a night worth of study (Which I seriously think that was ridiculous). Given that my school starts at 8 and my fair distance and commute time of approx 1 hour on average (so that means I have to wake up at 6 and due to other reasons during the week I have to wake up at 5), this doesn;t allow me to flexbly go over asm uch content and review every subject and do past papers etc, instead I only get time to work on assignments and do homework. I remember my grade 8 year level coordinator also saying that you should do at least 2 hours of homework a night. Hmm, so I guess this is something I can relate to, although this is primary school we're talking.. But yea, In my view, I think there should be homework for primary school students, given that if the primary curriculum is efficient and one would be learning some basic level foundations that will prove extremely advantagious later in life at more advance studies (Trust me... my junior high years were wasted and I swear I could have started taling moles and equilibriums then, rather then now, or probably start basic calculus bakc then to) however, give it 30 minutes maximum. No More. Maybe start gradually increase the workload at later primarily levels so they don't flat out when they step up to middle school... then middle school to junior High... and much higher from.. Junior high to senior school. Speaking of which, I need to read over my Biology stimulus and prepare for my long response EBI exam tmw lol. Should get studying now -
Hey guys, I'm looking for a mod that hides all the maxis ingame lots, I remember there was a mod but I lost it after I decided to rebuild my plugins folder. Anyone know if they can find it? Thanks in advance!

Can't Launch SC4 Due to 'Cannot Locate the SC4 Disk' with ISO.
Kiiroitori posted a topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Hey Guys, so the title says it all. I'm having trouble trying to launch SC4 as I recently installed on my Windows 8.1 64-bit system using my Simcity 4 Deluxe burnt ISO images that I created in order to avoid damage to my original disks. I used CloneCD by slysoft to clone the images to a disk image file and renamed them to an .iso extension. However, I'm encountering troubles trying to run the game with the disk ISO mounted in Daemon tools lite (as the native mount says the disk image is corrupted and can't mount.) I did try using magic ISO as well, same problem except with native mount. The installation works fine. Any Ideas? Thanks for the help in advance! Any help is always appreciated. EDIT: Installation was fine, however when I try to run the game from the disk image ISO (rungame.exe) in the play disk (Disk 2) nothing comes up. It works with a physical disk. However I am having another issue where it immediately CTDs... Ps I've been reading So yea. I might plan to downgrade to Windows 7 if things don't go well. Since there's a lot of compatibility issues. Although I fear that won't solve the issue. -

Right, thanks for the reply thegrindre and Nonny! Ive found a solution to this problem by using clone drive by slysoft as it appears that it is the only one that reads the protection layer. I used Clonecd to make my image from my original CDs. thanks for the help guys! To bad I have to downgrade and reinstal Windows 7 for compatibility issues and practicality. -
Looks like the Crown has been passed....
Kiiroitori replied to chocolate_city's topic in Cities: Skylines General Discussion
Well for me I'll be sticknig to SC4. I don't have an opnion on CSL as I've never tried it.. nor do I really intend to... I wasn't really hype with the overall announcement neither to be really honest as it appeared to be a spinoff SC2013 and simply took advantage of the situation. However if I wouldn't say CSL has stolen the crown yet. The game needs to mature.. and only when it live upon the test of time will I start to consider CSL a real successor. For now I shall see. Also CSL doesn't seem to fit my tastes at the moment anyway. I also think CSL will have a serious competitor in the future.. and that is already evident with a game that's currently under development of which is Citybound, which is backed up strongly by the community largely due to its approach of its development. So I think CSL will have some serious challenges before it will get its hand on the crown from SC4. It is a bit naive to assume that the baton has been passed before considering what challenges may have to be overcome in the future. But I don't think many will abandon and completely replace SC4 with CSL as much as many would want to or like. Part of what made SC4 got so far too was the amount of effort focused as well with the decent lack of competition IMO until now. At the moment we still have Simcity 2013 as well, its still living and breathing and there is an active community - there is still mods going for it too, My point is that competition will mean that potentially there is less effort or time directed in one game if there is multiple titles that have custom content going for it. Make no mistake, I don't hate CSL or anything. It looks like it has done the city building community justice. But the graphics feels and low poly models isn't my taste and there's alot of testing in the waters for only time can tell.. -

Well here's my contribution... I was looking through the RMIP-3 development threads... Since that thread over at SC4 Devotion hasn't been active in 2 years with lots of dead links... and I haven't seen Gwail and Voltaire in a few years. I guess I'm sad to say that I think that project maybe well and truly dead. -Unless I'm mistaken... which would be good news. But I doubt these will ever make it into my plugins folder. Those beautiful lights. T__T

So I've noticed that there are a lot of us here on Simtropolis that have an interest in Asian Pop music. Interestingly There's no thread regarding asian music (Despite the big Hallyu wave and all) Anyways, I've made this thread to cover and compile all this including J-Pop (Japanese Pop) and C-Pop (Chinese Pop), along with the all well known K-Pop along with discussing culture, News, New releases, Biases, Celebrity News, Fashion etc. This thread isn't only limited to Korean, Japanese and Chinese music, so feel free to discus other types of asian music as well. I've used these three because these are generally bigger ones out there that most people are aware of. Anyways I've compiled A list of Official Charts here for those to keep up with the latest hits from Taipei, Seoul and Tokyo : K-Pop: Gaon Charts Mnet Charts J-Pop: Oricon Charts C-Pop: G-Music Charts KKbox Top 100 Hit Fm Taiwan HITO As usual, Forums Rules Apply, So please No fan wars. Feel free to add new charts and point out new ideas and I'll try and update this OP for easier accessibility for others. There's only one word now, DIscuss~ I'll try and Improve this OP along the way, so feel free to suggest some new ideas~

Hmm, well it would be interesting how the east would react. I can see there trying to tempt the sleeping the dragon from its slumber. (or Dragons should I say). I'm sure the world would exempt this situation from Japan and certainly wouldn't mind if the sleeping dragon was to unveil its decades of venting against these thugs. -
^Also to mentioned that the black boxes have already been recovered and it will take a while to analyse the data and recordings of what happened.

When I was in the public school system I got beaten by the bullies too, but they got their fair share of the damage as well, and I think they deserved every bit of it. From personal experience, I would say that the bullies are basically bags stuffed with straw. That's it. They don't really know how to fight that well at all. They have a lower than average intelligence and would scatter like dogs if one of them feels the pain. They would act cowardly when they know they can't win. Plus, unlike those goons, you have a real reason to fight and get revenge. I agree with that one. Best way to get rid of all bullies is to impose a strict, almost dictatorial discipline in the schools. Some of the bullies must be harshly punished to serve as en example to others. The modern public school system is pretty lax with that kind of stuff. And this is where communism can aid... :/ I do find the best way to tackle bullies is at the source. Most bullies these days are insecure, projecting there anger and emotions is just one of their mechanisms to defend themselves against, well themselves.. Generally, in this case this is an unfortunate situation where the bully got what he wanted, with consequences. They got they wanted, reassurance. WHich as a result promotes this kind of behaviour further. Charging into an endless cycle. These kids however, indeed deserve to face what justice perceive.
