Hi everybody!/ Hola a todos! Thanks for downloading Modern Sculpture by Ohdude. This is my first BAT and to celebrate it the meaning of this sculpture is the happyness i feel for doing this project. Is a small plaza with the model as a medium wealth prop so you can put it anywhere as a Loter. IMPORTANT: There are two versions: Dark Nite (DN) and Maxis Nite (MN). Just choose and install one of this, no both at the same time. You will need Simfox's day and nite mod for Dark Nite version: https://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/23089-simfox-day-and-nite-modd/. DEPENDENCIES: No other dependencies needed. Just Simfox's day and nite mod. INSTALLATION: Just Unzip the content of this file into your Plugins Folder. Once installed, inside the game you will find this model in the Park Menu as a Small Plaza. UNINSTALLING: Just remove the folder with the files from your Plugins folder. DISCLAIMER: The use of this download is at your own risk. Ok, i was comparing the available draw.dll's that are mentioned in other posts and considering loading times and game fluency i can say that ,in my opinion, the best way to play SimCity 4 in Laptops is with the DDrawCompat. No dedicated graphics card detected, sharper and less smooth lines but is the fastest. -

@CorinaMarie @rsc204 Thanks for your clarifications! For a moment i thought that the draw file offered by Federico Dossena could have been a possible solution with the pass of the time because is still in development and who knows... one day SimCity 4 could work fluently and smooth with a big plugins folder and new graphics cards... maybe it is a dream to feed any april's fools day mod lol! -

Invercargill is the southernmost city in the South Island of New Zealand. It's Maori name is Waihōpai and geographically is a very extended plain area. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Invercargill This is a 52 x 64 km map based on real scaled map. I'm on the way of improving the technique of precision to make 100% real scaled maps. Sorry if this map is not at 100% real scale faithful reproduction but im sure it is at least a 95%. I made it using VTBuilder program and modifying it with gimp and photoshop to correct some rendering mistakes. So at the end I modified it a bit to make it more playable. Feel free to improve it if you want. It's not a perfect map but very approach to a real scaled map. IMPORTANT NOTE: you need Wounagaine SC4Mapper to install this map. Ok, initially with 1.8 GB of plugins folder, loading a big city of 50.000 thousand people living and working in high quality render BATS an terrain the game becomes quite slow. With High Quality renders i want to mean the ones created by Mattb325, Girafe trees, Lowkee33 Terrain mods.... This kind of HQ great works which make SimCity 4 more realistic. Maybe the 2 Gb plugins folder (including NAM 39) can explain it. On the other hand changing from one city to another takes just a little. I'm surprised the fast load it takes. ( in my case) -

I'm testing what rededarsho recommended. I have an intel core i7 1.8 Ghz base frequency, turboboost 4.8 ghz and and nvidia gtx 1650 Q max (both are rencent "mobile technologies"). And, yes i can say that rededarsho is not wrong. At the beginning it didn't work well but the thing we should do to allow the draw work properly is disable the "-CPU count:1". I mean, don't put or just delete from your command line and then open Simcity4. I've downloaded the latest version (current version vulkan) and installed the files in the Apps folder following the readme instructions for direxct 7. In my case it works really fine and it is recognizing my dedicated graphics card but i don't know why SimCity 4 is still using quite a lot resources from my mobile cpu. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYBODY WHO WANTS TO KEEP ENJOY SIMCITY4 WITH THE LATEST TECHNOLIGIES!!!! Thanks @rededarsho and @Raymond7cn -

The main reason is to reduce the list of family props and props that i use for making lots with LotEditor. At the end my objective is having a reduced and ordered plugins folder with as much realistic content as posible. Now im editing the @IDS2 Minneapolis House Set. I like the models but not the lots so im remaking the lots in order to have one lot per prop family because in the original folder IDS2 made 12 props families of which 4 mixes the models that doesn´t fit well with the lots i want to do. So for that reason i wanted to remove only the props families i don't like...and even the props which comes with many dependency packs that i don't use. At the end is a considerable amount of space you can win for installing new and realistic BAT's, or to speed up the loading of the game. Sorry for my english if is not correct, im native spanish speaker. With your explanation i'm understanding much better how the props family works. I've read the Jeronij Tutorial for making props families. For a moment I commited a mistake I still don't understand what i've done wrong and I though that maybe Reindex LotConfig could solve the problem. after doing this the props appeared how i wanted. Luckily you made me understand that i don't have to do Reindex lotconfig. I've tried to do everything again without Reindex LotConfig and i got the result i wanted to have. Maybe the title of the topic is not the appropiate, i can change it in order to be useful for anybody who has similar problem. Any idea? Thank you very much @rsc204

Ok, but i just can delete it with iLive Reader and that part is what i'm wrong according your recommendation I guess. I don't want to delete the prop. I just want to delete a prop family number assigned to a group of props.

Well, what i was doing was deleting the building/prop family value and inmediately saving the file. Opening the LotEditor the family prop number still was there and that is what i didn't want to happen. my mistake was that i forgot to click on Reindex Lotconfig before saving the file in iLive Reader.

I found one way to remove a prop family. Is easy using iLive Reader. You just have to select de building/prop family value, double click, select the value of the prop family you want to remove and click remove, click on Apply. and finally...this important to take effect in the game and LotEditor and PIM-X: DON'T FORGET TO RIGHT CLICK THE WITH AREA OF THE RIGHT PANEL WHERE IS THE BUILDING/PROP FAMILY VALUES and click on Reindex LotConfig

Do you know how to remove prop families correctly and permanently? I've tried removing the value of the building/prop family but after this the value is still appearing in the LotEditor and i don't want it. Thanks!

Hi everybody! I'm working with LotEditor and in the Family props list there are some that i don't want to appear. Can anybody explain me how can i remove these family props using PIM-X or iLive Reader or an easier way to make it possible?? Thanks in a very lot! Ohdude
