This is a rail station with a center platform that fits really good into suburbian areas. It's modeled after the motto, that smaller stations don't have to look that very spectacular, so don't complain about its more or less boring look . It's fully transit enabled and pathed (a BIG thanks to GoaSkin!!!). Itcosts 250$ to plop and 25$/month to maintain, has a passenger capacityof 5,000 and a Lot size of 10x3 tiles. Oh, and have I already thanked GoaSkin for making the custom paths? :-) Thanks for that! There are no external dependencies, everything you need is included in the zip. P.S.: As soon as pathing is completly finished, a similar station for the GLR will be available.

Actually it's gonna be build in Delta City. This is the first building of a series of governmental buildings (and there's really a lack of them!) Hope you like it!
  4. Stations of Berlin

Hello. Maybe some of you know, that I'm from Berlin. There are many city railways(I had no better translation. There are 15 lines of trains, which are driving just on their lines through Berlin, they're public conveyances.) here in Berlin. There are many stations arround here and I decided to build some of the most important and also of the most beautiful. I started with the station Friedrichstra
  5. After I wasn't satisfied with Bently County anymore, I decied to make a new CJ. I got not much to show you now(a region and transportmap shot I will fetch tomorrow), but I just got a postcard from my new city: Delta City* *build on the amazing Delta map of the Mapp Squad!
  6. My Citylexicon: A Cluster of Cities

@ The boy formerly known as Evil Muzz, sloppet, sirgeoj2, jacqulina Thanks guys! @ Nardo69 Danke, habe alles gut verstanden @ utora Thanks! Maybe (if Delta City wouldn't be a city state) it would be the Netherlands capital @ Bongoswimp You're right... I try to focuse on the suburbs And also a thanks to you. @ oroen Thanks, this is just what I wanted to create(something like a fake-Berlin *lol*) @ Compromise Yeaha! Finally Thanks Anyway, my life turns upside down a bit at the moment, but here's a small update: Update 12 The northern Old Town, Part II Just south of the Place of Triumph you'll find the Semper Platz, named after Gottfried Semper who designed the Semper Theatre, the Porcelain Palais and the Taschenberg Palais arround here in 1867. Heading west you'll get to the Peace Park, the first transmitter of the city was built here in 1938 on a small hill, later a small park was layed out arround it. Since its finishing it's the highest structure of the Old Town. Not far away is the Breitscheitplatz with the city's only Buddhist Tempel, built arround 1821 when many Asians immigrated and Kingston Station. Behind this you'll find the old City Hall, the St. Afra Church and the old Market Hall at the Rathaus Marktplatz. Here you see the city's oldest, still existing houses, built back in the 14th century!: The Theater Platz with the Delta City Opera Houses, the Thomas Church and the Breuninger Department Store, which is the city's biggest one! A Close-Up of the Breuninger Department Store, it has about 59,000 sqm of exposing area!: Hope you like thisone, leave some comments

  15. My Citylexicon: A Cluster of Cities

Welcome to Page 3! @ b3rglund, Fantail, Mikeaut1, crazyarchitect, Compromise Thanks @ Bongoswimp sometimes I think the same about the downtown But Thanks anyway @ Buffalonian1 First, thanks. Second: Maybe you're right, but you have to know, that the city('s economy) grew just that damn fast (related to the history) that much space was needed and they didn't had much time so they often took some similer/same plans for buildings. I know, sometimes it's not very nice to look at, but you will find similar things in real cities too. Also, you have to know, it's a city state and has a very limited amount of available space to build on, so everything goes up in downtown. Oh and I'm still workin on the city's developement, so please don't critise that I'm not that fast at spreading the city Update 11 The northern Old Town, Part I The northern part of the oldtown is may the most important, just think of all the stations here, also it's the one of the few places where you can find churches and other religious buildings. That's the city's central station at Kaiser Augustus Platz. Arround 75,000 sims do pass it everyday. An older station that's now used as museum of railway history. Wittenberg Platz with the DeOFWe, the Departmentstore of west, the Stephan's church, the district court and ofcourse the Theater of West. Dobruk City Station with the museum of historical science and the city's exchange for cotton, suggar and coffee to the left. The University library, the faculty of engineering science and of industrial and business management at Hermann-Elers Platz. The city's only mosque was built arround 1845 when many people from arabia immigrated here. The first city's downtown. The first highrises here came up arround 1905, btw the city's first highrise was the Banana Building: And to conclude this smaller update here's a shot of the Place of Triumph: Sorry, not many to learn about the city for today, maybe the next updates But I hope you like it anyway.
  16. City Haus

For your first it's good, but at all it could be way better, espacially the textures (not everyone got this skyline that reflects the building)
  17. Maybe it's just me, but I think this looks a bit like a piece of a drilling machine
  18. AFAIK I understand the bad translation of google from japanese to english, lin wants us to look at his hompage for the download, but I can't figure out where, because everything is about Grantrismo 4
  19. City of Coy Bells

    ARGH, please delete
  20. City of Coy Bells

Looks very interesting so far! Oh, btw, may for non-german players this link to the station would be a bit more helpful http://www.ingame.de/objectbase/index.php?action=file&cid=27&fid=514
  21. Glenni's BAT showcase

Looks nice, I like the flags at the entrance. To your LOD problem: You may got some smaller objects away from the actual building, so the BAT do extend the LOD. How to solve: Look for a object in the area away from the building, that is inculded in the LOD. If you find it, delete it and refit LODs again. If there isn't any object, your BAT has may gone a bit crazy Then I would say you have to do some custom LODs (which isn't that hard to do)
  22. Urban Subway Station 2

    Excellent!
  23. City Haus / Frankfurt Main

Looks really good, but I think you should choose another window texture, maybe this one that was done by Odd From Sweden.
  24. My Citylexicon: A Cluster of Cities

@ Jerebannus XVI I'm honored @ newyorkrunaway1 Thanks! I will @ Compromise Thanks, good to know Update 10 Livin' in DC: Tiergarten Tiergarten is the center of might, important commercials center and of course an expensive place to live and distinguishes oneself by good accessibleness(many important transport axes do cross or flank the district, like the SDA* and the WOA*). There is also the city's small cruiser terminal located. Just west of the Regierungsviertel you find Lichterfelde, that brags about the fact, that the Chancellor, the President and the whole cabinett do live here along the avenue Unter den Eichen, that directly leads from the WOA* to the Regierungsviertel. Just in front of the Regierungsviertel you find the Japanese Square well known for the sMall, a department store split into 4 similar buildings, which isn't really small at all with a gross floor area of 45.000sqm. In former times the square was called Neumarkt but in the course of the Deltaistic-Japanese Friendship Contract of 1959... oh and the sMall was also designed by a japanese architekt Going south you will find a signboard with To let on every second entrance. Noone knows why here's such a big vacancy, because it's not less attractive than the northern parts... East of the Regierungsviertel you'll find Lankwitz, which is a sleeper for shoppers, cause you find an uncountable amount of boutiques that do offer only the finest haute couture. The south of Lankwitz is very similar to the south of Lichterfelde, mostly vacancy but here are nameable reasons like the bad reputation as drug scene, the buildings are also very ramshackle and very renovation needily. And to conclude this one, an up-to-date region view I hope you enjoyed it! Leave some comments. *SDA=Süd<->Downtown Stadtautobahn, a highway that connects the downtown with the south(ern suburbs) *WOA=West<->Ost Stadtautobahn, a highway that connects the eastern districts with the western.
